We ordered the Beef Ribs (don't sleep on them because Lil Red only offers these twice a year!), Beef Brisket, Burnt Ends, Red Beans & Rice, Mac -n- Cheese, and Beans. Everything was 🔥
An Unforgettable Jamaican Culinary Journey at Lil Red’s Takeout and Catering
From the moment I stepped into Lil Red’s, I was immediately transported to the heart of Jamaica, by the mouthwatering aroma that promised an unforgettable culinary experience.
The star of the show was the Jerk Chicken. Ea
Absolutely fire, came down from CA and was looking around at places for dinner and came across this place online. 5 starts for sure!
Best restaurant in Seattle. So grateful for it's presence. Quality ingredients and heavenly flavor. You could eat here once a week for a year and never eat the same thing twice. Everything soul food should be. Tastes like love. My go to is brisket or jerk chicken with Mac or Garlic Mashed Potatoes a
Best BBQ in Seattle! Everything I ate was amazing. Curry chicken, rice, and peas! The rib tips didn't make it home, as I ate them within a block of leaving Reds. Amazing customer service and amazing Kool-Aid! That fire Raspberry Lemonade. Ox tail gravy was fire! Didn't spend as much as some of these
Hands down the best barbecue I have had in my life. Ordered beef brisket with Mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Came with delicious cornbread as well. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone visiting Seattle.
Everything was fanatics, we ordered the chicken meal, jerk in bone, with red beans and rice and jams. The second meal we ordered was their burnt ends with macaroni and cheese and greens. The last meal we ordered was their brisket with garlic mash potatoes and baked beans. We also ordered a lb of sau
Absolutely delicious food. We ordered pretty much a small portion of everything. Oxtail, burnt ends and Mac and cheese were beyond incredible. Very deep flavors. We’re from West Virginia and were a little hesitant to try northwest bbq but it was Devine. Lil reds deserves the hype
I grew up in Texas and have been smoking bbq, specifically pork items, personally for about 20 years. BBQ. Doesn't. Get. Better. Than. This. Especially in the PNW.
The Team here knows what they are doing. The only thing we would have different in the south is a loaf of sliced white bread by the cas
Lil Red catered my birthday party for July 23rd at Golden Gardens Bathhouse and they went above and beyond! They were communicative, engaging, and kept us updated about where they were at, who would be there, and what to expect.
I cannot gush more about the food, oh my effing god. The mac and chees
Best people ever. Super patient and great at explaining the big menu.
Food is full of flavor. Get the sauce!!! Otherwise the meat’d taste a bit dry.
I like their jerk chicken, brisket sandwich, greens, plantain, mac n cheese and ribs in BBQ.
Got the jerk chicken combo here with mac & cheese and the fried rice as a side. Everything was delicious but the mac especially made the whole meal. Guys working there were very nice, will definitely be going back.
The best BBQ I’ve had since moving to Seattle. It’s hard to find a good BBQ spot with good meats AND good sides. Tried the brisket, ribs, smoked jerk chicken, Mac and cheese, garlic mash, collard greens and EVERYTHING hit the spot. I’ll be dreaming about these ribs for a while 🤤
Might have to be my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Oxtail is unbelievable. The rice is good (but who does bad rice...). But the garlic mashed potatoes? As good or better than 5 star restaurants.
It's not cheap, but every time I can afford it, I'll be back
We recently ordered Lil Red’s for our 1 year anniversary party. We ordered food for about 35 people. I submitted an inquiry via email and I received a call back very soon after. Placing an order was extremely easy, and I was able to pay the deposit over the phone.
We ordered the greens, cornbread,
Stopped by for lunch, first visit. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Wednesdays the daily special is Jerk Chicken Burrito — I ordered it loaded on wheat tortilla (flour, wheat, and maybe spinach tortilla options if I remember right), as recommended (they thought I might need a nap later). The bur
