Mo & Lu Pasta Company

Great prices for the quality of the food. I grew up on the east coast and there's a huge spectrum of Italian food from very fancy places to simple homestyle places. I'm glad Mo & Lu is working to fill out the spectrum in Seattle. Sometimes you just want tasty Italian food without feeling like you have to dress up.

Being a world traveler, I find this place is a little slice of Italy, right here in Seattle. I'm so in love and can't wait to experience all their food! The owner is quiet, but don't let that come off as rude. He's extremely personable and an Italian native. You can fully taste that in his cooking. Love love love!

No frills, super yummy, reasonable prices. What you see is what you get with the dining room (sparse, a little hipster), but we enjoyed our meals very much! The owner even through in a piece of delicious spiced apple cake that I was scoping out, which was very sweet of him! I can see swinging by here for take-n-bake on weeknights, when you want some comfort food 😊

Great small budget Italian restaurant. It's got a fairly informal hip deli feel to it. The menu's descriptions aren't very stimulating, but the food more than makes up for it. The waiters are pretty courteous, though some of them are pretty shy. They store plastic cups and the water pitcher in the open fridge with the to go items. Portions aren't large, but every menu item is served with soft delicious focaccia bread, which can be refilled for free. So in the end we were full of tasty Italian food for a fairly reasonable price. GOOD * Pollo Meatball / Beef Meatball - Both come with 6 balls, swimming in tomato sauce and olive oil. The meatballs are quite flavorful, and the tomato and olive oil make great dipping sauces for the focaccia bread. * Funghi Mushroom Lasagna - Creamy cheese and mushroom, with tasty lagsagna noodles. Though it was slightly ghetto that it came in a tin foil pan. * Seafood Pasta - Has a decent amount of clams and squid, which gives the light sauce a strong tasty shellfish flavor.

12/14 Coming back just to reinforce how excellent this place really is. Lasagna Excellent. Pasta Excellent. Chicken Panini Excellent. Meatballs Excellent. Cheesecake Excellent. Owners are great people. Yep, I just had dinner :) Everything is so fresh and excellent. Wonderful to find quality food like this on LCW. Passing by but not sure? Open the door and take a whiff - yum.

Not a popular place... Yet! While their menu selection leaves a little to be desired, what they do have is all freshly made in store, including the pasta. Hearty portions so bring an appetite! Very reasonably priced considering everything is home made. I had the Cherry tomato pasta dish and it was very good.
