Bad Jimmy's Brewing Co

Showboat melts the Seattle Freeze like no other venue. Every staffer treats you as if you’re an old friend. The neighboring food joints surround the seating in a manner that is reminiscent of a backyard you’d play “Ghost in the Graveyard” in. A no frills, just bones place that doesn’t pretend to be something other than a comfortable place to enjoy local bands. The music was good, but the audience was better. Showboat fosters a lovely community and we will definitely be back!

My partner celebrated his birthday recently at Bad Jimmy’s with a group of 14 people. I reached out to Bad Jimmy’s staff ahead of time, and even though we hadn’t paid to reserve an event space they treated us as though we had and were so helpful, friendly, above and beyond accommodating, and just wonderful to work with. I can’t recommend this spot enough!

Went to hang with some neighbors and found that trivia was happening. Our team formed spontaneously and won. When I arrived I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beer. They didn't, but a few minutes later Jason the co-owner handed me a Heineken NA he had gone and purchased from a neighboring business for me, no charge. This is what community looks like. Thanks! PS I'll be back to spend some money :-)

This brewery has been here for awhile and I really would love to see them get more business! I talked to the owner for awhile when we went and they are trying to add different theme nights to pick up some business. He was so nice and I wish him the best with Bad Jimmy’s. They have a great outdoor area and when we were there they had burlesque bingo. It was a little different but I think it drew in the crowd. This spot would be great for events and they have the space to accommodate. Decent beer and prices too and they usually have a food truck or you can order from ST Hooligans next door which is amazing too!

Good variety of beer, from experimental and creative to ultimately crushable summer-weight Rainer-style offerings. They have wine, ciders and seltzers so there's an option for everyone in a group. They have expansive outdoor seating and super-awesome customer service given by authentically great staff. The vibe here, with all the customers, groovy tunes, dogs, chit-chat, and delicious bevvies, kind of amazing, and one of the places keeping Seattle's soul alive.
