Good authentic food at very reasonable prices in a cozy mom-and-pop-feeling shop. Pictured are the Braised Lion's Head and a Szechuan spicy fish fillet. I've also enjoyed classics like their wonton and honey walnut shrimp before.
Ordered braised pork ball (also called braised lion’s head) and minced pork rice with egg for to go. Braised lion’s head is delicious 😋 and definitely worth a try, especially you like sweet-tasting dishes like Shanghai cuisine and Hangbang cuisine. The sauce thickening for the lion’s head meatballs
As someone who has lived in Asia, I've been in search of a Taiwanese restaurant in Seattle that is AS GOOD as what I was able to get in Taiwan. Rocking Wok is that place. The family that runs it is lovely. The space is cozy. No frills. Excellent food. 5 stars.
Best Sichuan Beef Hot Pot in town!! The soup is super flavorful. The boss lady told me instead of buying the soup base, they created their own. I like all the ingredients in it as well! I can actually eat a big one by myself—very satisfying…

Friendly staff. Almost like a mom & pop hole-in-the-wall feel. Large menu with a good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Highly recommend the Home Made Hand Shaved Noodles (#37).
If you missed Taiwan snacks & hotpots, this is the right place to come. All the authentic snacks brings me memories of all the Taiwan trips I went. I like the sour cabbage hotpot a lot, I can finish 2 bowls of rice with it.
The sauce art on the Oyster Omelette was a very nice tough. That aside, I'd rate the dishes I ordered to be above average among Taiwanese restaurants in the US. I have had better Pork Chop Rice at Flushing and Rockville, MD, though.

the beef stew noodles are great with the hand cut noodles. the pork intestine vermicelli was also very well flavored and seasoned

Sad to see place closed. Was told they are re-opening under new ownership and new menu. The Taiwanese menu was a little unique from most of the Chinese restaurants in Seattle.
As one born and raised in Taiwan, I can verify that they provide authentic Taiwanese traditional foods, with excellent quality and affordable price. Highly recommended.
