The sandwiches are simply the best! Cheaper and tastier than Mendocino Farms, a couple blocks away. In-person orders are done via 2 tablets at the front. Tap water is provided by the seating area. Bathrooms are always super clean.
One of the few good lunch options in SLU. They're usually pretty quick too. They sell my favorite chicken salad here. I recommend that and the Cobb salad.

I ordered the grass-fed steak & blue and this was hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m not a big sandwich person, but I heard good things about Homegrown and was passing by, so I decided to check it out. All the ingredients were SO fresh. And, the way each ingredient complimented the other and enhanced the flavor profile was quite unexpected. Often times, the description of the item on the menu sounds mouth watering, but is a let down in comparison. This far exceeding my expectations. I grabbed takeout for lunch midweek so there was a little bit of a crowd but they were efficient. There was a self service kiosk and time to pick was less than 5 minutes. Very happy overall and would definitely recommend!
*edit- okay it’s now a good 4 hours later and I still can’t stop thinking about how good this sandwich was. I mean, holy cow! Let’s break down the sandwich. It had incredibly juicy, mouth-watering, hot steak that was covered in blue cheese, garlic aioli, arugula, and caramelized onions, all between soft, lightly toasted, porous sour dough bread. I think they went a little heavy on the arugula, but hey, I am not complaining. This was a great sandwich and makes me curious about the rest of their menu*
I visited Homegrown for the first time and tried their Plant Power bowl. The salad bowl was really tasty, felt fresh and was quite filling. I could not finish the entire bowl in one sitting and in fact saved some for later. They are not allowing indoor seating at the moment but there are a few tables outside where one can sit and eat.

I love these kinds of places and I would love to have more of these options back home in Costa Rica. Super fast service and the quality is amazing

Food tasted great. Value for money. Combo option is the best. A half sandwich with a cup of soup felt like a right portion size.
During lunch hours, this place has a lot of waiting for take out. But the staff seems to move the line effectively and efficiently.

Best place to get a tasty Sandwich . I went to day with my little one to get something for brunch. What a surprise to see the place clean and the stuff really friendly. It is child friendly because the bathroom is clean and they have change table for babies and it is really nice. AND the most important thing is their food!!!! Of course! Get the Turkey bacon avocado sandwich and you can thank me later .The best in my opinion . Definitely you guys should visit them. I will come back soon 😃
A little pricey for what you get but the food was delicious. Staff was friendly as well. The chicken pesto sandwich was great!
