Lucky Chinese Restaurant - Seattle - Photo album

I went because I had heard the chef previously worked at my dearly departed favorite, Gr*nd Vill*ge. The "soup of the day", hot & sour, was pretty identical but the veggies & tofu in it seemed to be cut smaller. The chicken fried rice is quite good but just didn't have the same je ne sais quoi. I ca
The outside of the building is nothing to look at but the inside is just fine. The food though... the food is phenomenal. Please don’t pass this place up for its exterior. It’s amazing, plentiful and cheap. Their egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. They offer complimentary hot tea and soup. Their
I only come here for my chinees food because the food is always fresh and good. The couple is always nice. My twins eat up all the chicken fried rice while I eat up all the egg rolls. Listen I know good Chinese food from growing up in spanish Harlem. They are legit and I'm sad to find out today tha
Our main Chinese go to! Hole in the wall mom and pop shop. Small menu but solid staples. Can easily miss the location as it is dark, small, and tucked in between two larger sized buildings. Delicious (soy sauce based) fried rice, General Tso’s Chicken, and House Chow Mein (the thin, Cantonese style n
Excellent Chinese takeout at reasonable prices Fast and friendly service. There is a sign that says they are closing on 11/30/22, which is unfortunate.
So when you see this place from outside for the first time, you will be like wuhhhhh. But once you get in, it is nice and cozy. People are nice and smily. I can tell they are beloved by people of industrial area. Cheap too. Most of menus are under 10.
Don't let the outside fool you. This place is clean on the inside and staff are very friendly. My 9 year old said "we were very lucky to find Lucky Chinese Restaurant". Seems authentic and I would definetly go back. I would have taken a before picture but it looked so darn good I couldn't wait to ea
Love this place, the chef is some one I've come to get to know very well only after a local favorite restaurant closed down due to family reasons, leaving me searching for years the taste of Chinese cuisine that I call correct authentic, until.. jackpot, lucky's only later to find out he was the coo
I've been a patron of Lucky Chinese for years. The food is always delicious and the owners are friendly. Sad to say, they will be closing for good on November 30th. Drop by and give them a try before you miss out.
Never judge a book by it’s cover. Based on external appearances alone, I would’ve kept driving, but the pictures of their dishes intrigued me. LEGITIMATE HOLE IN THE WALL! Ordered family style and tried every plate on the table, everything connected with the right texture and flavors. Have been lo
They are so fast especially since they make it after you order it. It's very hot inside the restaurant so I couldn't imagine dining in-unless it's winter. The food is so good. I recommend trying it as you have to try it and believe me you'll be hooked! You get a soup with every order, the to go boxe
Finally after 7 years living in Seattle I found a Chinese restaurant that can make delicious food. Tried them and fell in love with their food. My new restaurant that I'll most definitely go back to over and over. I'm so happy and pleased. Nothing else compares.
Wonderful flavors. The wok hey from high heat cooking brings out rich and complex flavors often missing from many starchy and saucy Chinese food. Highly recommend the Kung-Pao chicken, Lucky fried rice, and their shredded pork.
This restaurant may seem like a hole in the wall place from the street but it has a very homely feel once you are inside. The parking lot is small so you may have some trouble parking. The host was very gracious and inviting. The Hot and Sour soup and Chicken Chow Mein we tried were really good, esp
Surprised it seemed not too busy but it’s also later in the evening… they’re so confident in the food they show you your plate before they pack it up Togo, that is some real confidence and honestly the food is amazing so I see why. Thanks !!!! Support these guys!
Food is good, cooked on the wok when you order, they serve hot and sour soup if you dine in a tradition in Chinese cuisine that not a lot of restaurants put into practice. The price is great compared to local spots. Friendly staff and owners. Do not be turned off by the location. Hidden gem for sure
This Chinese restaurant is a little hard to find on 4th. With a super small parking lot and an inset location from the road, this is classified as a hole in the wall restaurant. Luckily, this one lives up to the talk. Service is great, the staff is always super nice and very friendly. Prices are ama
Not a lot of choice for Chinese foods in SoDo/Georgetown. Lucky is surprisingly good for lunch/takeout. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in this part of town. Lucky fried rice is most likely their most favorite dish. And in addition to their regular lunch items, they also have a few dishes that
