Restaurant name is Ding Feng now. Gave up trying find parking in chinatown so went down south to here as never problem finding parking. Went christmas day so it was busy af but got a table quickly. Got a bunch of stuff and bill was lot less than i expected so got my value worth. Nothing was overly salty which was good. Nice to hear cantonese throughout whole restaurant give it that old school vibe. Some of the ladies also speak viet if needed. Restaurant is dirty af but hey they busy and it's in the hood so you got to put that in perspective.

They have dim dum in the morning where they put the dumplings in the carts and we can pick and choose. Very tasty with affordable price. However, it can be very crowded in the weekends so plan ahead

I’ve been going here since they opened. I am always impressed by their food and service! Even for take out, it takes 15-20min for a few orders! I recommend this place!

My Chinese friend confirmed my suspicion that this is the tastiest Dim Sum place in town for most items. Well priced too. Entirely Asian clientele confirms it's authentic.

The food was very good. A good casual dining experience to eat and enjoy conversation. I wouldn't describe it as a date night restaurant. The staff are friendly and pretty quick to address your needs.

BEST dim sum in Seattle. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We were surrounded by mainly elderly, and it just felt like a big family reunion. The tea is really good. The flavors are AMAZING. I was especially surprised that my favorite dish ended up being the beef tendon soup. I was already so full by the time I got it, but upon tasting it I couldn't help but finish the whole bowl. It was so rich in flavor and I crave it til this day. I will definitely be going back, this has to be my favorite spot in Seattle.

Updated 03/26/2023 This restaurant serves good food, but there are times they mistakenly give you RAW (uncooked) Food for To-Go. See the picture on Shumai. Its the steamed pork and shrimp dimbling. =====Previous Review===== Joy Palace (restaurant) locates in a good setting with lots of parking. I've been to this restaurant for over three decades now good to see most of the waiters and waitresses are still there. The place looks nice and clean, and the customer service is exceptional. The presentation of the food and the taste is excellent. The owner is sincere and always greets you with a smile and asks you about the food. Joy Palace serves fantastic salted fish fried rice, stir-fried crab with ginger and green onion, and the same with salt & pepper prawns. The crab maw soup is delicious if you want to get that as a starter. It comes in a big bowl you can share with 2-6 people. Besides good dishes on their menu, they also serve dim sum in the morning till late afternoon. All items on the carts are all delicious.

The food at this place was just mediocre. The staff was great and very friendly and deserves all the stars. The menu was all very clunky and definitely needed an upgrade.
