We really loved tiramisu crepe cake. Other food was great too so were coffee and service. Definitely put it to my top places for snack and desert!
Everything we had from this place was delicious. We will definitely come back next time we're in Seattle.
They dropped one of the pastries I ordered and were thus all out but replaced it with another (equally delicious one, I'm sure) without even batting an eye.

I love this place because I love outlets, floor to ceiling windows (hello natural light!), tasty treats, and all things containing caffeine. The workers are lovely and this is a great place to study (but don't come here because this is my 'let's leave the house to study' spot :P).
Personally, I feel guilty hoarding a table for hours so I buy things in increments to avoid being the person who buys a single latte during a six hour study session.
I think they need a better system for getting things out to the customers (at least when there are rushes) because they have go on a 'who was this for again?' hunt when it gets busy. Because I an observer to those moments of brief chaos, I find it way more entertaining than whatever I'm trying to read for my classes.
p.s. Not that this matters, but I am not the biggest fan of the name. However, with new owners comes a new name. Craftworks Coffee and the Geometric Rhino logo was way more badass. Maybe a geometric rolling pin? Just irrelevant thoughts that in no way affect how I feel about the magic that takes place inside Sugar Bakery :)

We loved visiting this little bakery. The pastries and coffee were excellent. If we are back in Seattle we will certainly stop by!
We arrived at 7:35PM on a Sunday night after an awesomely and unusually sunny and "warm" day in Seattle. We are from Chicago, visiting Seattle for the first time. The barista (who I wish we had asked his name) bantered with us until closing time, while we drank cafe Americanos and shared a piece of burnt sugar cake (a HUGE slice of deliciousness)!!! What an awesome find on our last night in Seattle. Will return
Nice place. Great location. And perfect atmosphere. Love coffee mugs and cakes.
I've been a loyal customer of this bakery for two consecutive years, and I must say they are very dependable. While we did encounter a few delivery hiccups, their team promptly and efficiently resolved them, demonstrating a high level of professionalism. Not to mention, their cakes are absolutely delicious. I've been ordering their cakes from overseas to surprise someone special in Seattle, and I've been impressed with how seamless the ordering process is.
Really good bakery and solid coffee. Super convenient for the neighborhood. Had the veggie breakfast sandwich and would highly recommend it, the sautéed onions are a great touch for a breakfast sandwich. Pastries were both sweet and flavorful. I did do Uber Eats pick up which seemed to have a more significant markup, I would recommend just waiting in line if you plan to do pickup
Best latte I think I’ve ever had. Coffee was good and croissant was light, buttery and flaky. Cool, clean place with great music, nice lighting and very nice art. People were friendly, & helpful. Definitely coming back for more
Another cool cafe in Queen Anne! If you’re tired strolling the Seattle Centre next door or just need an energy boost Sugar bakery has your calling. The place has ample seating indoors and few outdoors too for the warm weather, well decorated to show the art of baking. The music isn’t too loud so you can get work done and/or have fun coffee sipping with friends. They have sweet and savory pastries, croissants, and sandwiches for quick hunger satisfaction, a menu with variety of teas and a full coffee menu. I love the latte and Vietnamese coffee. They also have cake slices and full cakes. Staff is always friendly and courteous.
Street parking in the area, can be limited during weekends.
we ordered the confetti birthday cake and the crème brûlée cake. We loved them both! The confetti birthday cake was moist and flavorful, and the sprinkles added a fun and festive touch. The crème brûlée cake was rich and creamy, and the torched sugar topping was the perfect finishing touch.
Great place for chai latte, croissants and vegetarian breakfast items. Recommend trying Havarti Croissant, Vegetarian Potato Quiche, Creme Brulee cake and Pecan Pie cookie. It's a nice modern cafe with plenty of seating. There is free WiFi which is pretty fast. This cafe is great for spending time to work or read a book. All the baristas are absolutely amazing and friendly. Excellent service every single time and very welcoming atmosphere.
What I really like about this bakery is the friendly staff, coffee, and the inviting atmosphere. The pastries are ok but would have been much better if they were less sweet. What I don’t like is the extra 5% service charge that I’ve only seen in very few places.
It’s a really good place to work because of high speed wifi and the seatings and tables. Close proximity to the seattle attentions like space needle and pop art museum is another plus.
A great find in the lower queen anne neighborhood. I was looking for a quick run for coffee & some bakery snack between my morning meetings and found this!
The cafe is way bigger than I expected! A variety of snacks to chose from, and the cafe latte is good! We had chocolate croissants and butter croissants and both didn’t disappoint!
We did a take out, but the cafe has wifi - and can be a good spot to work for a few hours or have a few meetings.
Lots of seating. Cool vibes. Local artists on display! 😎 Matcha Latte was so tasty. Coming back for sure when the Kraken returns! Or drop by for coffee before the dance punk rock show at Veras! Wow when did I get so cool? It's just Seattle rubbing off on me.
Stopped here for a quick bite to catch up with some friends. I got the Americano and salted caramel croissant. We also got a carrot cake and a latte. The shop has a nice vibe with good service. The croissant was good, buttery and although I did taste the salt but not the caramel. Nevertheless it was still a great croissant. The carrot cake was also great. Well baked, slightly moist well raised and with a light hint of cinnamon. Liked it and would definitely try this bakery for some other stuff if I am in the neighborhood.
WOW love this little coffee shop bakery!!
I didn’t realize they had such a huge selection of pastries and food. The monkey tail was absolutely incredible, I would go back just got that!! It had the perfect amount of sweetness, butteriness & crunch.
Another favorite is the Powerpuff Latté which I’ve had before many times - such a unique blend of flavors and I love the colors on top!
I’ve been here a couple times on my Saturday coffee walks and really enjoy it. The space is big and bright with lots of natural light in the mornings. The decor is cute and there are even plants for sale. The needle view is a an added bonus! Dogs are allowed inside which is a big plus for me because my dogs love my Saturday morning coffee walks as much as I do!
The bakery display has so many good options. I LOVE the havarti croissant. Their croissants are super flaky with such a good buttery flavor. We have also tried the bacon chocolate chip cookie, perfectly chewy - great for sweets lovers. The coffee is always delicious as well. We’ve tried the cold brew, powerpuff latte, mocha, and Vietnamese coffee. All were thoroughly enjoyed!
Delicious eggs Benedict and coffee! Super friendly staff too.
Best chai in town, great matcha lattes, AWESOME baked goods (you must try the caprese sandwich), and a great place to hang out for a few hours. Lovely staff and an ideal spot to pick up pastries or cakes for your next event.
This place has grown on me. The problem is, they are so popular its hard for me to get there on a day when people haven't already purchased all the good stuff. Usually when I arrive 75% of their items are gone. If I didn't get lucky a few times and come in when they had a full selection I would think this location is the worst.
I really enjoy their layout having seattle all around and the counter in the center. It's like a dessert bar. So easy to come in with a work machine and work while munching on all their yummy food items. I can't vouche for their drinks as I've only had a lemon san pelligrino. They seem pretty limited with drinks no matter when I come, but their water is always available and that's pretty much what I always drink.
The other thing I love about this bakery is their location, it really doesn't get any better. You can literally park here in the morning and leave at night. Why? Well it's right by the climate pledge and space needle park. I feel like I came on a Saturday and spent an entire day within 3 blocks of this location, including coming to this sugar bake spot twice...
Good times. Thanks to this place I have an excuse to come early with the pup and just enjoy the day. Rain or shine. Don't forget to try their cakes. Very unique. I tried a slice for the first time today and I must say, it's not the best I've ever had, but it was really tasty and a flavor I've never had.
It’s a delightful cafe/dessert place. The chocolate cake was rich and flavorful, but not too sweet. It went perfectly with latte. Everyone was kind and a barista even offered some dog treats. It was pretty full on Saturday afternoon, but there were enough tables for everyone. I can’t wait to visit again.
If you work from home and need a scenery change, please check out this place! They offer any drinks a typical café would provide and a great selection of house-made baked goods. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside on the street. It is right across the street from the bustling Climate Pledge Arena and around the corner from the historic Seattle Center and Space Needle.
