This place is beautiful. New management, new look, a positive and lovely vibe. The drinks are homemade, and the service is fabulous. If you're in need of an uplifting experience as well as the taste of delicious drinks, this is the coffee house for you! Fireplace, cozy, warm, friendly, and a perfect place for a kind and hardworking neighborhood.

One of the best coffee shops in Seattle, which says a lot. Friendly staff, amazing coffee, great food and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Can’t ask for more.

Friendly staff, good coffee and great tasting food. What more could someone ask for? I had an egg on a bagel which they call an eggel. It was topped with bacon and all sorts of savoury goodess and made with a lot of loving care. And then for dessert I had a chocolate chip cookie that was loaded with chocolate chips and boy, did it taste good! It was almost as good as my mum's home-baked cookies. I sat by the nice fireplace and kept warm and dreamed about my upcoming trip and a whole lot of other things. Next time you're in Ballard, check out Java Bean. I'm sure glad I did!

The best spot for coffee in and around Ballard, tucked away from the bustle of Market Street. Cozy digs, tasty sandwiches, relaxing atmos and my favourite coffee in Seattle.

Great eggel and cappuccino, excellent quality, organic coffee, and the fact that they have their own roast - I would give 6 stars if I could ! Thank you Java Bean !

This is my friends neighborhood coffee shop that she loves. I tried the espresso tonic that comes with juniper - nice alternative to coffee for an afternoon drink and the Seattle fog latte for the non coffee drinkers! Plenty of seating and saw one person with a laptop.

Wow! This place is an absolute GEM! I was blown away at how delicious the rosemary and brown sugar latte was (great flavor, not too sugary) and the Chirro Cruffin was absolutely out of this world delicious! It was also BEAUTIFUL! The lamination was perfect, it was the precise shade of brown to make it crispy and it came with an orchid petal. The staff work their tails off and it stays consistently busy. The plants and decor make it feel quite cozy. I can’t wait to come back!!

My son and I absolutely this cafe. The staff are so sweet and friendly and the coffee and food are spectacular. It's very very much not Starbucks. But if you like rich flavorful coffee and a simple delicious menu this is a spot to try

This is a dreamy place. The open atmosphere, tasteful music at the right volume, and exquisite pastries was the right combo to get some work done. Make sure to try the churro pastry is a unique experience.

Very cute local neighbor coffee shop. They have some comfy chairs and couches. Lots of delicious quick bakery options like a spanikopita croissant and a blueberry crumble cake. The salmon toast someone else got while I was waiting and it looked amazing. Nice water station.

Chill vibes with dark brown woody decor and plants spotted throughout. Friendly staff. The front windows open up, which I can imagine would be great during summer. Had the matcha latte, which was well made and tasty.

Cute place with well make breakfast dishes. Very nice modern but cozy vibe and friendly staff. The breakfast food was all made to order, and made with care and good attention to detail. The egg and cheese bun was great and flavorful. Their avocado and toast says that they use various different bread companies, which I applaud, however today's bread with the avocado was not great... A bit dry and very seedy - but the other breakfast items were top notch!

Venture serves single origin as pour over, espresso; they usually have 5-6 beans to select from and will let you know how the shots are pulling day to day. Easily top 5 in seattle for coffee. I come here to journal in the mornings, and the people around the couch are always friendly and willing to talk about sailing, their dogs, and the PNW weather.

Great breakfast and coffee spot. Gorgeous playlists to keep you chilling with your coffee. Busy enough for the typical coffee shop vibe but enough folks just passing through that the noise inside is at a good hum.
