My first time there. I had the pork belly with kimchi, plus egg and broccoli as add-ons. The food finishes cooking on the hot skillet brought to your table, so don't worry if the meat doesn't seem cooked yet. You take a couple of minutes to mix everything together, then add soy or chili sauce before eating. The dish I had was terrific, in a portion that's not so large that you feel stuffed. They do offer other sides like potstickers and wings, plus a sundae also served on a hot plate, but really the main dish itself is filling enough for most people. Though I will try the sundae next time.
Cool concept, super affordable, and delicious food ! Would definitely recommend coming here for a date or bite to eat if you’re in the area.
Meal arrives on a hot iron skillet. A circular paper oil guard surrounds the skillet for protection. You hear the skillet sizzle your food and notice the meat is still raw. You mix and sauce your food while the heat continues cooking. After the sizzling stops, you foolishly take a bite while the food remains hot. Tastes great. But the temperature hurts. You just cannot resist and take another bite. You tell yourself you can wait for the temperatures to cool down but your utensils are already occupied.
Dine in is available and there are plenty of seats. Service is a hybrid of counter service and table service. You pick your table to eat at, avoid social interaction by scanning a QR code to order for dine-in, then your food comes to you.
Prices are okay. The portion is filling at least.
They have a Coca Cola shrine. However, they have room temperature water available for you to get yourself and other choices of beverages to order from.
Great concept and flavors and quick service. Ordered the ribeye with mushrooms and broccoli. Meat was tender, tasty, and the house sauce has good flavor. Corn on the rice is a nice addition. For added sweetness, I like to add some pineapple teriyaki sauce available at the table. Companion had the chicken hot plate and reported that the meat was tender as well. Second time here, can't wait to visit again!
I love the food and the taste of it. Reasonable price for an expensive city like Seattle! I really want to thank you this lady she was so nice as my autistic’s daughter started to have a melt down in her restaurant! I decided to leave she packed my food and brought it to me outside with an extra bottle of water. My daughter calmed down, ate and enjoyed all her food in the car! We both had the salmon & sirloin very yummy !
The Ironsteak is not what I expected (whole steak on the hot cast iron plate with spaghetti on the side). However, the food they offer is pretty tasty. I had the shrimp and my husband had the steak with black pepper sauce. The shrimp one came with the creamy white sauce which I personally think it's a little bit too oily. They also has some special homemade sauce available on each table. So you can DIY your flavor. The waitress is very nice. The restaurant is clean and neat.
A little expensive but really really good. I got the black pepper steak and it was delicious. And this dessert that has cake frying in the pan with ice cream on top.
Love the concept of the place. Being able to cook the steak yourself and use the hot plate is awesome I love eating rice out of hot plates. 9/10 would take my mother here
Sorry the picture is after I've already eaten half. I don't like to wait after they serve the sizzling bowl.
It was very good but not spectacular as we were hoping for. The experience is always fun but the sauces were off a bit...
Amazing food! It's really cool how they serve the food. It comes out on a skillet and cooks infront of you. I got the Shrimp Fettuccine and my partner got the Sirloin Steak with rice and added an egg.
Cool little spot here. We came for Dragon Fest here in the International Dustrict/China Town here in Seattle. Ordered the chicken and steak combo and added an egg as well for $1 more. Love the cast iron sizzling service the food comes on. Also has a very unique Coca Cola display case. I ordered a Tiger beer. Very good little food stop. Would definitely come back.
I have never tried a place like this before, and I was quite impressed with the atmosphere, friendly staff who helped guide me on how to order, and the overall quality and presentation of my meal. A definitely recommendation for anyone who has never tried Teppanyaki. ✨
