St John's Bar & Eatery

My partner and I have reserved the (covered and heated) back patio to celebrate our November birthdays for the past three years now. This venue has great food and drinks, excellent service, and has been so accommodating for our party tradition, even inspiring friends to use the space for their own parties. I love supporting a queer-owned business and I always feel so welcome in this bar.

I very much appreciated the personal touch this place gives to even the most irregular requests, like crafting a customized birthday cocktail based on a memory and some flavor notes weeks in advance. I didn't expect that level of care when I reached out to ask what was possible and I was so happy with the process AND end product - a delicious apple cinnamon martini we both greatly enjoyed. Thank you!

I held a private event with my organization here in May and was so pleased by the experience. I knew the food and drinks would be great because I frequent the location often personally and recommend it to friends. I was delighted by how kind and collaborative Michael and his team were in facilitating the run of the event and ensuring that our needs were met and that our attendees were having a great time. I hope to be back next year and look forward to being back myself in the meantime!

I was genuinely surprised at just how good the food was at Saint John's: the nachos, brussel sprouts (no for real -- trust me they were phenomenal), and sweet ginger wings were all particularly delicious! Drinks were also really good, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. The staff was super attentive and nice, and the bathrooms were clean -- overall a great night out and I definitely recommend eating here! There's a patio out back which I'm sure is lovely when the weather's nice, so also check that out when you come!

We had just popped in for a quick brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely meal we had in the well heated patio. Very quirky vibe in the interiors as well. Nice cocktails and the chicken skewers were delicious. There was barely anyone else (just one table of customers in the patio) so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. They're strictly following all covid precautions.
