A solid 5 Stars! The fries were perfectly deep fried, they had a terrific “crunch”! The burger was a top notch “burger joint “ burger. It was full of flavour, well prepared & with the perfect accompaniments. Some fellow in a previous post squawked about the interior “signage”, he must’ve just been having a bad day!

Enjoyed the visit here, during a cold evening; it was chilly inside... I bet this place is awesome during warmer days with the garage doors open or able to use outdoor seating... it is across the street from Alki Beach! I had the Blue Shroom, fantastic! My son had the Code Blue, he ate the whole thing, barely! With onion rings that were crispy, yummy homemade delicious.
Sad note for me about the beer here... I don't like IPA or any overly hoppy beer.
Thankfully they let me sample the porter and a few others because they were not palatable for me. Chose the one closest to a lager, but it gave me bitter beer face! If you like those types, they have them!!
Next time, I will opt for tea... because other than for beer, I will return.

I had the Hangover Burger, a greasy goody pile of delicious! Sat outside in the fresh air. The fries were fresh, hot, and seasoned with a type of All-spice that just works!

Tasty burgers and interesting selection of sodas to try out. Garlic fries were okay, and found the cheese just fell off and didn't add to the flavour. Was quiet when we were there so good came relatively quick though several signs throughout saying 'be patient' so you may have to wait. A bit pricey for what you get (~$30 for a burger, fries and fountain drink) but great location and cool atmosphere.

Never actually eaten here but the staff is always very kind for how busy they stay during beach season! Good happy hour deals!

I stared about 10 months ago and I thought it’s a good time to update my review. I want to give them 5 stars again for their good service and delicious foods. This place is one of my favorite burger places, which has a wonderful view, great atmosphere with a plenty of outdoor seatings, and the kindest service. ❤️🥰👍

The last two times I had this, it was superb. The burger was so well put together, tasty, great bun, quality ingredients, and I was just so impressed.

I am a regular here, although the food is good.. they keep changing the buns & fries. Consistency is key to me! Also I have $30 worth of credits and everytime I go the lady tells me she doesn’t know how to redeem them for me… if the owner sees this review PLZ respond as I love bluemoon but a bit disappointed in the inconsistency.

One of my favorite places to go! Growlers, Beer on Tap with Pitchers, amazing burgers with plenty of options right across from the beach. Doesn't matter if you eat in or take out, you'll enjoy every bit of this experience! Alison is always helpful as well as all the Gals here! Thanks again for the amazing experience and delicious food!

Deliciously messy Hawaiian burger and plain delicious sweet potato fries! Local root beer was a pleasant surprise too. Friendly everyone and Irish music: lovely experience.

I've had some great burgers in my life, but this, this place served the best burger my wife and I have Ever had!!! Was a bit of a wait as they were understaffed but the quality of the food is worth any wait time!!! The standard burger with American cheese add mushrooms is to die for!!!

I live down the street and come here often. I’m not normally a huge burger person but I will eat Blue Moon Burgers any day of the week! Their food is delicious no matter what burger you order in my experience. The setting is also very nice being on the beach and available seating for both inside and outside.
My only honest feedback would be to reduce the amount of rules that are posted against the customers. Im sure it might be a deterrent to some, with how many signs are up. Some rules are necessary, but I find it slightly annoying that customers are not allowed to ask when their food might be ready for pickup.

Best fries and onion rings! Was not overly impressed with the burger, I did the blue shroom burger with out bacon and with the impossible burger. Maybe it needed the bacon to bring it all together but I didn’t get any of the flavoring with the mushrooms or blue cheese. Would 100% go back for the onion rings and fries though

horribly is how they treat their employees of color. Charlie Olson the Owner and Kylie Pyle, Manager. NEVER EAT AT THIS LOCATION...THEY EVEN HAVE ROACHES!!!

In the past couple months, me and a couple friends have been sampling some of what I perceive to be better burger places in Seattle. So far Blue Moon is near the top of my list. Great sides and fresh delicious burgers. The buns hold together and are adequately but not overly dressed, meaning more burger in your mouth and less on your lap. Had a good experience here(Capitol hill) and the South Lake Union location. Highly Recommended!

The sum is less than the total of its parts. I want to like Blue Moon soooooo badly. Such that despite the consistently meh food I've received, I give it a retry every six months or so. I'm disappointed every time.

A burger is composed of three elements: bun, burger, toppings. Let's talk about them:

Bun: Blue Moon uses very doughy buns. Think yeast roll from Thanksgiving. It may be a personal matter of preference, but to me this is too much and too chewy bread. Not off to a great start.

Burger: Here is the real problem. The meat is tough, tasteless, and over-cooked. I would guess by the texture and lack of flavor they're using standard sirloin. Sirloin has less fat than chuck, but much less taste also. Don't season it and over-cook it, and I'm left with stringy stuff in my teeth I really didn't enjoy the first time.

Toppings: Here is where Blue Moon stands out. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Nice cheese selections and scrumptious veggies. However, they are wasted on the above.

Price: I'm not quite sure why BM gets a single $. It is NOT cheap. My meal today was a standard burger, add bacon, tater-tots, and a fountain drink. The tab came to over $17 before tip. Keep in mind this is a counter-order restaurant where you're expected to bus your own table.

Summation: Great toppings, poor sandwich resulting in, dollar-for dollar, the worst burger in all of Seattle.

Their menu lets you choose from pre-determined burgers and do-it-yourself burgers. What’s cool is you can choose the bun, type of meat (or meatless), condiment...

Go to any of Blue Moon Burgers ' three locations, and you'll find the menu presents many options for building your own burger. For example, the "Protein" section starts with beef but also includes grilled chicken, turkey, salmon, and a couple of vegetarian choices. But my eye caught the current Burger of the Month, and I knew I had to give it a try. In honor of Thanksgiving, Blue Moon is featuring turkey dinner with a twist: a chicken and waffles burger with optional sides of sweet potato fries and a maple bacon shake. (I loved the sweet and savory drink, punctuated by little pieces of bacon which are fun to chew.) The chaffle, as it's known, starts with rosemary buttermilk fried chicken, nice and tender. It, along with two slices of honey-cured bacon, is sandwiched between two freshly made onion-and-sage waffles. This "burger" is delightful and delicious, smar

No more turkey burgers. This was my favorite place for burgers and a cider for a couple years but sadly, not so good anymore. They discontinued the turkey burger, switched away from Spire hard apple cider, and all the sides are deep fried unless you want a just-an-ok side salad.

Mel. A great place with excellent food with wonderful quality. Here you know what you are getting not like the fast food places. I highly recommend the place you won't be disappointed.

Once in a Blue Moon.... My name is Lisa and I'm addicted to Hawaiian Burgers. This one was super ono. I maaaaybe could have enjoyed it on something other than a Brioche bun... but then again, maybe it was perfect WITH the Brioche bun. I suppose I'll have to try it again to be certain *sigh*.
The Garlic Parm fries were fantastic too... and although I wanted desperately to try a "Beast Mode" milkshake (Skittle laden of course!)
I just could not find the real estate in my stomach to get the job done.

The brioche buns are amazing, the blue bayou burger is amazing, the chili cheese fries and garlic parmesan fries are awesome, the sauce is amazing and they have gluten free options with no cross contamination including a gluten free beer.

Best. Burgers. Ever.. Might have been that we were just super hungry, but this was seriously the best burger I've ever hade. Hubs had The Hangover and I had the Hawaiian burger without a bun. They were super accommodating and served mine Ina yummy bed of spring mix. We were commenting about how awesome these were the entire time we were eating. Do not miss this place!

After eating here for the first time, we returned twice in the next week. burgers are delicious, large, and have lots of options when it comes to toppings, buns, etc. the fries are good, but don't waste your money on upgrading to the chili cheese fries: there wasn't enough cheese, and the chili tastes like it was scooped right from a can. cheap rices seal the deal here. we love it.

I liked it. I just was walking by, starving, and had heard decent things so I stopped in. I really love cheeseburgers, so I was glad to be there. They have plenty of patties, sizes, and toppings to choose from, and what seemed to be great side dishes, some very clever. I had a big burger with bacon and bleu cheese, and it was cooked well, and tasted great. My friend had a salmon burger, and it was good, a little dry, but still good. Our sides were Tots, fried perfectly crispy without being oily, and we had the chili fries, which reminded me of my favorite burger joint 20 years ago, they were old school and delicious, though only order it if you are h-u-n-g-r-y. With two drinks, it was about $30, but we were stuffed and pleased with the quality. The only negatives were an employee who could absolutely care less about being friendly or at least polite, and I think they could make the dining area a little cooler, it's not to hard to buy something to put on the walls so it doesn't feel like a cafeteria. I think it is a good place, but could be a great place with a little sprucing up and effort from the staff.

Ok burgers. I had the Hangover burger which was overcooked: both the patty and the egg. The expresso milkshake wasn't good either, it was vanilla milkshake with what looked like expresso grounds mixed in.

Overall, it was better than your "average" burger joint, but definitely not up to Lunchbox Lab or restaurant quality like Emmer & Rye. This wouldn't have been a fair comparison if it wasn't for the fact that the costs were about the same, i.e. Blue Moon wasn't significantly cheaper.

It was a disappointing lunch at Blue Moon. The patties were too dry and it didn't have character in it.We also ordered onion rings that was greasy and overly fried! I would not recommend this place!
