Gainsbourg - Seattle - Photo album

Food was overcooked, which resulted in a tough exterior of the duck, making it difficult to eat. Butternut Squash was creamy and delicious. Bread was perfectly toasted with butter. Beet salad was so so. I sat down at the bar and observed that the chef actually burned much food, not just mine. I gues
Hands down the best French onion soup in Seattle, no questions. Place is always packed so be prepared to wait outside if you show up during peak hours. May need to share a table with others. Bar seating is usually our go to. Not your fine dining experience but the food is superb! Tried the poutine f
Went on recommendation and was not disappointed! The burger was delicious, and with the pairing of the fries (love mine crunchy) and homemade garlic aioli...very yummy! The cocktails were unique, and came together wonderfuly!
Always solid. Soulful place with consistent good food and service. Always get the French onion soup. Steak and frites great. Lots of tasty cocktails too. Particularly love the Sinthensizer with bourbon. Manifique!
Triple excellent. I had the beet salad and poutine, both of which were super flavorful. I would definitely go out of my way for food that good. Reasonably priced too. Service was terrific and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Place was packed on a Saturday night and I can see why.
The French Dip with Gruyere was the best I've had since moving to Seattle. Maybe the best I've had ever. The French Onion Au Jus was absolutely heavenly. A perfect blend of savory with just the right amount of sweet from the onions. The fries were perfect with a crispy outside and a creamy potato ce
The food is really good here, I love the atmosphere. The food does take a little while to come out, but well worth the time if you have it. Tables are hard to get though, and they don't seem to do a wait-list!
Great food, great ambiance, one of the coolest spots I've been to in a while. The cocktails were next level, too. Don't come for a fancy evening. We went on a Saturday, it was VERY busy and a bit chaotic, but in a good way. Come for a lively evening, with a communal vibe and delicious food, like the
Review update: this restaurant is not family friendly. Please take your ID and be over 21 years old. Good French restaurant. If there is the sixth stars, I will this restaurant 6 stars. This is the one of my favorite restaurant in the Greater Seattle Area. The vibe is chill. Very relaxing and chic.
Pleasantly surprised! Their happy hour food was all very satisfying and decently priced as well. The duck confit was not on HH and it was enjoyable but not my thing, esp for 20 bucks. The escargot was delicious but I mean how do you go wrong with that much butter haha. Burger was very hefty and fill
High quality food prepared in simple ways. Usually have some regulars on the menu with some rotating specials. Start with the bread and butter it's top tier stuff. Amazing cocktails! The quirky and dimly lit vibe with small tables makes it feel cozy. Perfect for a date night!
the duck poutine was so good the second person in a human centipede wouldn't be mad. staff is always gorgeous and we love them
The vibes here were great. It felt very moody and they had decent happy hour options. The menu is extremely limited, as someone with a gluten allergy my only entree option was the duck confit. I wasnt given the option of adjusting an entree to accomodate my allergy. The duck confit was fine, nothing
Had a bottle of good inexpensive Bordeaux here. Nice atmosphere (it’s inspired by serge Gainsbourg so it’s gotta have some degree of coolness right?) anyway, we passed a great hour plus here and were treated well. Go
Small bar and restaurant with informal crowd and service. Menu is short but interesting
My favorite restaurant in Seattle, we keep coming back! Great cocktails, delicious food - we usually get the steak fries, the croque Madame, the brussel sprouts. Easy to drop into when you don't have a particular plan.
Hidden gem. Serge Gainsboug was a controversial performer even for France so I was surprised to see a restaurant dedicated to him in Seattle. Fun unique place. Good casual French cafe food and drink.
