Meskel Ethiopian Restaurant - Seattle - Photo album

This was my first time trying this cuisine. This place was clean and almost felt like a restaurant in a home (my be it was ) . I went for lunch very odd time (3pm) there were not many people and server was only one lovely lady. It looked like she took order and prepared food by herself. - were were
Best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had. The owner is so sweet too. Really feels special, like home cooking.
Delicious food and great value for money. Two of us shared the vegetarian platter and it was pretty filling. I liked that there were many different veggies and the spices were nice too, similar to indian spices. The owner was also really kind and told us how the food was made (we were curious!) Defi
Their food is wholesome and their service excellent with great vegetarian options! The Ethiopian tea is one of the best I have had so far!
Great place to have some Ethiopian food in Seattle. The food was delicious and service was good as well.
Very excited to bring my husband and some friends here, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the owner is very sweet. We will be going back!
Great food, family-owned, authentic. We (including our kids) have loved going to Meskel for years.
Delicious food, great vegetarian options and the owner was very kind!
Google should change their rating scale. This place deserves 10 stars. I drive 2x a month an hour each way. The owner is always friendly, the staff is polite and courteous, and.... They have an excellent rating per the health department. The portions are great (unless you are pushing 350 pounds,
I grew up eating authentic Ethiopian food and this is some of the best tasting and most authentic I've ever had! It really is like homemade! The owner is so sweet and she works tirelessly to make sure all of her guests are taken care of!
Amazing veggie platter. I've never had an Ethiopian dish with so many different curries and veggies. Every dip was so flavorful! I also thought it was cute that they put up pictures of their kids. It's a really authentic and great family owned restaurant!
The food is amazing!
My daughter and I have been craving Ethiopian food for months. We drove from Lynnwood and took it home to eat. Meskel never disappoints! My daughter loves the green chicken and I love the vegetarian combo. We have been coming for years and they always remember us. Love this place!
This place is fantastic and a POC women owned restaurant! I ordered food to go on a recent visit to Seattle and the dishes were all very fresh and authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The owner was very kind and accommodating when I picked up the food. Definitely recommend checking out if you’re in the area
So delicious! And the owner was very nice and accommodating despite us arriving shortly before she planned to close. Will definitely be going back there regularly.
Wow! Absolutely delicious. Husband and I had the veggie combination and the keye firfir served family style and let me tell you, it was one of the best dishes we've had in a while. Kind and welcoming service, too.
