Review Herkimer Coffee - Seattle

It is a big big luxury to have coffee shop with a huge roasting machine in the back. Huge difference. I can’t compare the quality to anything. Thank you for providing this experience, it is priceless. This is more of a coffee foundation than a roaster and coffee shop. Great talent, good quality beans and investment in high quality equipment! EXCELLENCE ***** FIVE STARS

I loved the atmosphere. It was clean inside and the we equipment looked well kept. I had ordered a single coffee without waiting in a line and got it in about a minute. The lady behind the counter was kind. The coffee was good and even had a fancy leaf foam design on top. The coffee was not burnt and was what I ordered. The bathroom was clean and well kept.

Really great coffee, delicious pastries, and kind staff. This place is popular so there might be a long line when you arrive, but the staff are pretty good at moving it along quickly. Windows are perfect for people watching and playlist was great the day I went in. I’ll be back for sure!

I am a latte enthusiast and I know how to make latte art. I came to this place specifically because the way they advertise their latte art looking so nice. I asked for a regular latte with art. The barista messed up my latte art. I actually asked her if I can pour the latte myself (all I need is to pass me the coffee mug with espresso shot in it and frothed milk in a pitcher, and I can pour it infront of her) but she declined. Not sure what’s the big deal about letting customer pour their latte if they’re familiar with it.

Seattle honestly dosent have the coffee seen it use to. However this place said "NAHHHHH WE GONNA BE BALLER." And so it is. Great staff, creama poured with precision of deliciousness, and folks who genuinely want you to be there.

Best coffee in Seattle and far from the most expensive. Multiple amazing single origin drip selections hot and ready all the time, and even more fresh roasted beans available in bags. I've tried them all and the blend is still my favorite. Plus the people are all really cool and friendly.

Just had the best eggnog latte here! I love this cozy neighborhood coffee shop. Friendly service, fantastic coffee and pastry selection and warm and inviting.

A nice neighborhood coffee shop. I met the owner and got a tour of the roasting area and got an Espresso 101 class. I can tell you they take their coffee seriously.

Favorite coffee shop in Seattle! Great coffee and beans! Cute shop in Phinney Ridge. Love to sit and watch the roasting happen. Highly recommend. Stop by for a really excellent cup of coffee.

Great coffee and lovely staff. I also really like the atmosphere too. Great spot to get some work done while sipping delicious coffee.

Absolutely amazing coffee, the food selection is tiny but given that there are stores near by this is not a problem. The space is usually taken by people.working so almost never enough space to sit for a quick cup.

Delicious cold brew and I love that they warm up the honey so it’s not just a lump at the bottom of your cold brew. Yes, I like honey in my coffee - stay away from sugar. Anyway, I digress. The baristas are always so friendly! Love the vibe and all the window seats. Great place to do some work or meet up with a client / friends.

Great neighborhood spot for an espresso drink. I swing by regularly. Get the Cortado if you want to get a nice espresso kick with a little milk. Gets packed, so get there early or be prepared for a line

I thought this chain was the epitome of coffee atmosphere. The cappuccino I got wasn’t the best: the espresso was okay and the milk was over steamed for oat milk BUT that being said I would still recommend it. The food looked great, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Sometime oat milk can be hard to work with so I would still check this place out! Plus the neighborhood is adorable!

Love this coffee place! I make it a point to come each time I'm in the area.

When Saturday rolled R and I found ourselves at Herkimer in Greenwood. R had been there several times for work, but it was my first visit. Upon walking in the cafe it was a bit boring. The walls were lined with a featured artist was unremarkable. There wa

A friend recommended Herkimer to me the other day. You can see the roaster in the back room, which is pretty unique. The latte was soooo yummy, I'll be back for more. Btw, If you're a lebowski fan, they have they best T shirts...

Role Model. I had a meeting today here and we took over a couple of tables so we could sip while we discussed the details of some architectural drawings. The architect was a bit late and it gave me time to reflect, as I sipped my latte (which was outstanding), on the surroundings. What I realized is that this is the kind of local coffee house that Starbucks is attempting to emulate with their new, unbranded outlets. The woodwork is striking, in an understated way, and the finishes all work together to create an comfortably eclectic ambiance. While this neighborhood fixture is not unique in this regard, Herkimer is the real deal, and well worth the visit.

Cash only joints = great. When I moved from my old place my three requirements were short distances to a store, a bar, and a coffee place. Herkimer Coffee filled the last requirement, and much to my pleasant surprise, they are cash only. I equate cash only anything to usually be the no frills better attitude that I like to see in small businesses. And much to my even more surprise, is that the coffee there is quite a bit better. They are one of my favorite coffee places, taste wise. The interior appears a bit sterile, the smiling staff whip up a great drink for the walk home along Greenwood.

Sterile. Herkimer has a very sterile, yuppy feel, which is great for some, but if you are looking for a warm, kid-friendly place, I would steer clear. The coffee is ok.

Bitter. I wanted to like this place but the straight shots were too bitter for my taste.
