The food and beverage selection at Stout are AWESOME. They always have the best beers in each category - but also have some rare finds - making it the perfect place to take a group with varied beer tastes in beer. The people and service is even better. Best upscale brew pub in Seattle!
My favorite restaurant in Seattle. An amazingly comprehensive selection of hard to find beers, and a food and drink menu that other restaurants would envy. A great location, and good for weekend brunches, date night, guys night out, family dinners, girls night out, or for any reason. An impressive place I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
The food here is fantastic! I enjoy the beer and cider collection. There is a lot to choose from and it is so nice to have a taste of something on tap before ordering. Service has been consistently good. I have visited Stout on some busy nights, so I have waited a bit for my turn. The wait staff has always been delightful even on those very busy nights.
This is my second time in Seattle & this is the second spot I've been to today. I will definitely be back.
The service is on point. Jay is a fantastic bartender. And the beer is yummy. Their pretzel is by far the best one I've had...get the poblano cheese with it.
Always enjoy the vibe- staff, drinks + snacks, even the lighting- it all works! A low-key spot on Capitol Hill with space to breathe (room for you and all your friends)!
While i was in Seattle we had a chance to eat here! Wonderful food, wonderful drinks, and wonderful service !!!
And of course, we had to have those doughnut balls!!!
We recommend it if you find yourself in the Seattle area!!!!
Great place with great atmosphere. Traveled from Orange County California and stopped by with my kids for a quaint dinner. Wonderful, friendly staff with a eclectic menu. Love the place.
Love the mac n cheese, good beer selections, inventive cocktail menu and awesome service for events!
STOUT is a great beer-centric bar with knowledgeable staff. They feature an exceptional craft brew list that rotates frequently and have awesome beer to pair up with their menu. These beer geeks are really educated and enthusiastic about craft everything!
Great food, great beer, best staff. I make sure to drop by every time I’m in Seattle.
Possibly the best thing Cap Hill has to offer! Great beer selection, and their pretzel knots are to die for. Plus they're super accommodating when it comes to events and private parties. Thank you, STOUT! You are amazing!
EDIT: They do Peach delivery too!
Hard to read reviews for bars/restaurants (late night vs. restaurant crowd are two separate things!) I personally was surprised there were low ratings - we came here with our family last night and despite the July 4 lack of staff, the staff that were here were gracious and did a very good job. The food was fantastic by the way - and honestly I'm hard to please. We were all super happy and we will be back!
I think the staff is where it’s at! The staff I’ve met here are amazing. Nobody here has a bad attitude, they’re super receptive and they are very knowledgeable. Haylee has been the centerfold for all of that. She has been very attentive and especially accomdating for me and everyone else around the bar. Thank you haylee!
Went here with a large group for brunch. They opened individual tabs for each of us when they took our order which was fabulous!! Made cashing out a breeze. I ordered the chilaquiles, which I was so excited to see on the menu, and an iced tea with lemon. Some might consider how the dish was prepared a little plain, but I actually prefer minimal garnish, so I thought it was great! Overall our group was really happy with the brunch. People thought the food was good (but not amazing). My personal feelings about *my* dish were probably a little higher than than the average opinion in our group. Would definitely recommend people give this place a try!
A great place to go. They have a big choice of different drafts. As the name states many stout options so watch out you don't drink too much. 😉
We had some snacks which were really good.
The service at the bar was great. They were friendly and helpful.
It's really nice decorated from the inside. Can everyone recommend to be here at least once
Great food. Friendly staff. I got the fried chicken waffle - really interesting dish! Hearty, savory and a great value. Plus the restaurant atmosphere is stylish and relaxed.
Great place for events, very spacious. Private seating sections as well. Good food.
Some of the best service we ever had. Food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommended!

Food isn't anything great, but it's also not really bad. It will be delicious but I'm not dying to to come back. Nice atmosphere, good drinks.
Woah. Just walked in happy hour?!? More like amazing hour. $4 flat bread pizza like food, $2 off draft beer?!? IPA. Draft $4.50 Any tourist would be a fool if you didn't get your late night capital hill meal here. Thanks for the great vibe, great prices, and amazing service.
Best grilled cheese ever! Plus lots of TV’s to watch football.
Great tap beer selections and full bar. They had many delicious food choices as well. Open floor plan with lots of room for group events.
Really good and tuna salad, thought the onion rings we're too thick, but tasted good!
I have been here for a rehearsal dinner and was very impressed with how the staff and kitchen were able to drink and feed everyone in a timely manner. The seemingly standard pub food was anything but. The restaurant has both a sports bar feel but also an ambiance for a casual date. It was busy when I was there but also did not feel crowded.
Went here on a date on a Sunday evening. Food was really good - one of the best chicken and waffles I've had. Good fried chicken, just the right amount of syrup, the waffles were light and savory with herbs in them. The atmosphere was decent, a little less cozy than I was hoping for, might be better on a busier night or for bar hopping. All in all a decent spot.
Nice, relaxed ambience. Food is not bad.
They have a big interior with lots of TVs for soccer, football, etc., but it's not exactly a "sports bar". The atmosphere is solid, though it is fairly ordinary "industrial chic". They have some good beers on tap, although the two I wanted on the menu were sold out at the time. Their brunch food is pretty good, but I find the portions a little too small.
Their happy hour menu is basically unbeatable. I also love their selection of beers. This is a wonderful place for all sorts of events -- casual hangouts, dates, corporate events, solo dining. Lots of TV screens, and the casual atmosphere is wonderful. Have been here roughly 1x per month for the last year.
