A wonderful surprise! Between Amy & CHEF, our meal was delicious and our service was delightful! There is a reason why the claims of having “The Best Fish & Chips” in Seattle is without dispute! The Cajun Shrimp were perfection and the fries were tasty! The “ambience” is as expected! Don’t forget about the parking out back, a wonderful surprise!!!
Visiting Seattle for a couple of days and I’m looking for the ultimate fish and chips spot…I can’t complain. Food is great and drinks are reasonably priced. Had the classic fish and chips and a proper ranch water (tequila, sparkling water and lime juice). Atmosphere is decent you can’t expect much but it’s not underwhelming either. I love my fish with a beer batter, but the fry here is great nonetheless! Great job.

I haven't been here in YEARS and it's still perfect. Best fish and chips in town and the salmon sandwich was awesome.
My three-person party had a great experience here a few days ago: Saturday at about 1 p.m. I loved my fish and chips, including the tartar sauce and cole slaw. My spouse had the same thing and thought the fries were the highlight. Our friend had a mushroom burger and liked it. Onion rings were also crispy and delicious for her and for me. And speed, service, and prices were good. We'll be back! 🙂
Perfect bar vibe. Good music.
If you want attentive bartenders and great service and decor, go across the street to Fiasco and pay double.
If you want a standard dive bar with excellent fish and chips and pitchers (I think 20 something for std drafts) then this is your spot. Great patio right on Stone Way, go up to the bar to order food and drinks.
What makes the fish and chips excellent? Thin batter. Not the thick crispy kind you find in most places around town. Lemon, good tarter, Cole slaw and fries.
Go, it’s great.
This place gives old school authentic pub vibes. It’s not very big, has a pool table and a roll of seats by the bar. The food options are also typical pub food, I had the seafood platter and I enjoyed everything but the oysters. The fries were really good. There’s a parking space on the inside street, it took a while for me to realize where it was and I had driven up and down trying to find a parking spot. The waiters are also pretty attentive. I attached pictures of the menu so you can see the food options available. I deducted a star because I felt the place could be cleaner. The menu had a smear of some sort of sauce in between the pages and the floors weren’t the cleanest.
High marks for this "dive" bar in North Lake Union. Great fish and chips. Good sandwiches and salads. I am a huge not fancy bar guy and this one is a favorite.
Tip: Parking lot is located behind the bar. Small but free while you are at the bar
Definitely worth the stop for the quick service and tasty affordable cod fish and chips. Would go again for sure.
This place is an awesome dive bar, real cheap drinks! It brands itself as Seattle's best fish and chips spot so I went and got there fish and chips and it was good! Nothing too astounding but it wasn't bad for the fun dive bar vibes and chill environment you receive. I'd go back again if it was closer to where I live!
definitely delicious, affordable, and great drinks on tap. cocktails were also very good and i do recommend their bloody mary’s. overall this place might be our new date night spot… oh and i loved the rock music. metallica full blast while playing pool? 🥹 this place is truly a gem.
Good fish, the Caesar salad was OK. Good service.
A true dive bar with fantastic fish and chips! The staff were great - they had to deal with a very unruly customer in a Beavis mask and did so with dignity and manners!
The fish has a delicious herbed breading on it and was cooked to perfection. Fries were well salted and crisp, and the Bloody Mary was spicy!
Enjoyed our first dining out experience in a year at Pacific Inn Pub on their patio. My partner ordered their fish and chips while I ordered the grilled salmon sandwich. Sandwich was good, but I'll probably stick to fish and chips next time-- fish was good and not too heavily-battered or oily.
Update: Just tried their BBQ and Buffalo wings at the recommendation of many other reviewers and they slap! Delicious, excellent ratio of meat to breading to sauce.
Great dive bar - a must stop in Fremont. I stopped in for lunch and service was quick and the food was delicious. I thought prices were fair, $12.50 for a 2-piece fish & chips, plus coleslaw.
Solid pub fare and drinkin' spot. Actually, I've only ever had the fish and chips here, and they satisfy every time! I love to step in out of the rain, order a basket, have a couple of beers. Pretty dang classic. May Seattle never change so much as to lose the option of planting yourself at the bar, or in a booth with friends, and wash down some simple grub with simple suds. It's nice, sometimes, to know not everything has to have a side of kim chi, or birria dip, or vegan cheese dip, you know?
This is a little hole-in-the-wall pub that we went to because we were in the area, and I had read an article listing them as the best fish and chips in Seattle. Their fish and chips were very, very good, and the tartar sauce that went with it was some of the best I've had. We will return the next time we're nearby.
Cozy pub, nothing too fancy but some heavenly fish & chips! 👌🏼
I usually pay $18-$30 if I eat and drink here. Fried OYSTERS have always tasted fresh, as well as fish and chowder. The crowd tends to be friendly, talkative, and also in a good vibe on my visits.
