The turkey leg was so tender, smoky flavor with mild barbecue sauce and mac and cheese, perfect combo, corn bread tasty.πŸ˜‹ Definitely, we'll be back again.

Grub at a reasonable price! Brisket sandwich (right) was excellent. Meat was juicy and tender. Sides of potato salad and mac & cheese were great too. Ordered takeout, would order again.

One of the best BBQ places I have ever been and I love that they have a drive through. The service was amazing so was the food, we got two, 2 meat platters with chicken, hot links, beef & pork plus ribs extra. For sides Potato Backn salad( omg), Smoked Mac & Cheese, Spicy beans & Lays BBQ chips. For dessert Brownie & Chocolate chip cookie, boy never seen my husband finish a cookie this fast haha and absolutely love that the brownie is overly sweetened! Love everything about Pecos so far, will be back soon πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Get the loaded baked potato! πŸ₯” you won’t be disappointed. You can add any of the meats. I got the brisket. It was so good. And the service is also top notch. The two people working were beyond helpful and fun. Will be coming back to enjoy the sunny deck in the coming months. East parking in the back or they also have a drive through.

Love the fact that the tables have rolls of paper towels super useful if you are a slob like myself. Food itself was quite good I enjoyed the mac and cheese it's was delicious. I recommend the ribs they were the best in my opinion. Staff were super chill and amazing to talk to and very helpful. Would come back.

James went above and beyond for my DoorDash pickup for a client and replaced their order with what was available. He also provided amazing food and customer service to me. What a phenomebal brand rep and human being. Good vibe

We were on our way to dinner & someone told us to stop by Pecos for the Corn beef Sandwich special it’s only going on in March! I’m so glad we did! Hands down the best Corn Beef Sandwich I’ve ever had! I was stuffed, but could not resist, I ate the whole thing! Please bring this sandwich back again sometime this year! The Mac & cheese was also very good, just saying that is an understatement! Stop by this lil BBQ spot in West Seattle you will be surprised.

!!#Amazing!!! Hard to put it all into words. food was fantastic and the staff who were working were absolutely amazing best experience I've had eating out in a while and believe me I get around. 😁😁😁 we had friends from out of the country with us, they were patient and more than happy to take the time with us as we ordered quite a bit. I can go on and on but I will say that I will be a Pecos superfan!!!

Great food, great staff; please come to the UK!

Positives: Friendly service. Dog friendly patio. Moonshine lemonade. Ordered three sliders of each meat: pork, chicken, beef. Mild sauce. Chicken was dry, couldn't finish. Beef and pork were ok, seemed tough and not as tender as I had hoped. Will be back to try other items. Potato salad really good. Lots of flavor but a bit too rich for my tummy.

My son was visiting from out-of-state and asked where I wanted to go for lunch. I live in Auburn, but worked near Pecos for a few years and never had the chance to stop by. So off we went, and it was a decision neither one of us will ever regret. We arrived as the doors opened, greeted by what I can only imagine Heaven smells like. Rick, our server, treated us like family. He walked us through the menu, explaining how they prepared various items as well as customers preferences. In the end, we both agreed that we should let Rick order for us. My Son had the brisket sandwich and I had the pulled pork. The prices are a little steep, but the food more than made up for it. Good portions kept us both full until diner. If you made me complain about one thing, it would be the Scoville number applied to their 'hot' Que sauce. C'mon guy's: I know you can make it hotter than that! Thanks again to Rick; see ya soon! Did I hear there's one opening in Federal Way...?

Actually, I really liked it. We stopped by in our way home to meet a friend and get a bite. We've dined in. It was quiet and could make a private conversation without sharing everyone in the space. The food was tasty! Service somehow a bit lag but nothing yo complain. I recommend.

Great little bbq spot in West Seattle. Really hard to get in the parking lot depending on which direction you're coming from. Hubs had 2 meats 2 sides - brisket and pork. I had brisket loaded sweet potato. Both are solid choices. We prefer the pork over the brisket tho - I would get the potato not the sweet potato next time. Their med sauce is yum altho my hubs says it's spicy πŸ”₯it's not the world's greatest bbq but it's a solid bbq place.

If it was possible to give star ratings beyond 5 this place would certainly be my top pick to do so. Parking easily found out front. A warm welcome from the Pecos Pit team is given as soon as you enter the place. I first learned of Pecos over 20 years ago when I worked directly across from the original shack on 1st Avenue. Nothing has changed from that friendly welcome to the best barbeque you will find anywhere. Kevin, the manager, came to our table to personally check if everything was okay. They have a hand-washing station setup not only for a good pre washing but a post washing to get all that deliciousness off of your fingertips. The hardest thing to do is to decide what to eat. Everything is so good. I was so impressed that I will be using Pecos catering for an upcoming party. I am sure that the original owners of Pecos are pleased that their legacy of good food served up by friendly folk continues.

Very solid smoked meat! We stopped here to pick up some food to go for dinner as this looked like a cool new place for BBQ. See my picture for the ridiculous portion of free samples I got. πŸ€— I love the brisket and chopped pork. The ribs were a bit salty, but I liked how the texture still had some bite to it. I would have to say, though, the best thing we had was the Best BACON Potato Salad Ever! Will need to go back to try the ones we have note tried. πŸ˜‹

Consistency!! Tuesday we visited and had some of the best Pecos beef we have ever had. My wife parked and went in to order only to be told that the brisket was sold out; it was 11:30 in the morning, but, some was on the way but timing uncertain. She decided to wait and the delivery person arrived 20 minutes later; after another 20 minutes she had two Pecos beef and two complimentary sides. The gentleman at the cutting station was as cordial as could be; the beef was redolent with small pieces of fat, thick chunks of beef and perfectly sauced. Delicious!!!! 5 Star experience!!! So we decided to go back today (Thursday) this time trying the drive up window. The young man taking orders was again very customer friendly, he had a young lady assisting him. One beef and one pork this day; both were so dry they were hard to swallow, meat was overcooked with almost no sauce and no fat (fat means flavor and moisture). Today was a 1 Star experience. We've eaten at the 1st Ave store for dozens of years. We're very happy you are now in West Seattle, but, what will our experience be next time? We will be back, but we hope the food will be more consistently like our Tuesday experience. Respectfully, Steve

Tried the West Seattle location tonight and wasn't impressed with the food the brisket sandwich was just sloppy wet the potato salad claims to be the best you'll ever eat, it wasn't. The slaw was not slaw it was big chunks of cabbage and onions and carrots with maybe some vinegar on it, my husband and I both agree we won't be back. I'll drive to Kent for Pete's BBQ it's so good and their loaded baked potato salad is the best I've ever eaten.

Best Texas style BBQ Seattle has, and has been consistent for years and years. The spiciness is amazing, and I think its a black pepper style hot so its hot on the front end but doesn't hurt you on the backend like Thai and Indian food. But mild is usually enough to make you sweat, and med is way more than enough heat for most. The sliced brisket and pulled pork are so delicious, love the bark on the sliced beef. The beans!!! These beans are easily the best baked beans Ive ever had. They are amazingly seasoned and has a slight fruity with just enough heat flavor going on. The chunks of pork put them over the top. I could go JUST for these beans, they are ridiculously tasty. The coleslaw is good, but haven't tried it in a while. The hot links are great and to be expected. This place is a Seattle legacy and I hope it stays around for a loooong time.

I'm visiting Texas and I stopped by here while I waited for my airnbnb to be ready. The owner/manager was fantastic. The young lady at the front counter was great too. Good service and polite warming staff. The brisket was pretty good for non southern BBQ. They rely a bit on the sauce for flavor which isn't bad just depends on your preference. The ribs and Frito pie was delicious. Great selections on their Menu and they offer BBQ sauce in different heat intensities so that's different and a plus compared to what I'm used to. THEM RIBS THO...my goodness they were delicious. Do not pass these up. I originally gave them 4 stars but then I thought about the service and the fact that they offer Texas beer so that's getting bumped to a 5 my dude. Best non southern BBQ I've had to date. Thanks guys..keep feeding Seattle real food οΏ½

The barbecue beef sandwich was absolutely delicious. The house pale ale on the other hand was dry, and left a licorice after taste in my mouth. The decor and vibrant atmosphere of this southern like establishment brought me back to the many small style joints I remember as a kid while growing up in Texas. I will definitely be back.

The food was fabulous. Potato salad with bacon? Yes, please!!! I also had the chopped pork. It was tender, not greasy, and had a delicious smoky flavor. So good I skipped the BBQ sauce. The people behind the counter were fast, friendly, and very helpful. I don't visit West Seattle often, but I might make a special trip over the bridge just to eat here and share this gem with my BBQ loving family.

Been avoiding going to Pecos as an amateur smoker myself - was a afraid theirs would be so good, as experts, I'd never eat my own brisket again. Not the case, the brisket at Pecos was dry to the point it was hard to eat, don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. Potato salad was great but $3 for a tiny side.

Awesome BBQ! Cheap sliders on happy hour are such a good deal, friendly staff, amazing brisket, pork and chicken. Get the damn hot BBQ sauce!

I haven't been to this place since it was a walk up place way back when. Boy has it grown! Hope it is as good as it was then, cause it was tremendous !!!!

I'm from the south so my BBQ standards are pretty high. Pecos was decent, but expensive and kind of limited. Let's just say I wouldn't drive past a Dickeys to come here.

Thanks for coming out to Rainier Tower! Had the BBQ pork sandwich, and it was great! The Cowboy Caviar really tasted fresh, with good ingredients. Plus, I had never had those pickles...they were awesome!

We went on a slightly rainy day to the SODO location, during our lunch hour. Totally worth it, especially that smoked Mac n cheese! Add some of that chopped brisket and it makes a perfect lunch!
