Great Burgers. Blue Moon is terrific. They have an iPhone app (and an android app coming soon?). Use the app! Don't stand in line (they're packed for lunch on weekdays).
Place is super legit. Had the Hangover and the Hawaiian. Both really good, great buns, great toppings, fries were cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the better burgers in the city. Cheap too, around $7.50-8 per burger, half price Wednesday nights.
Good burger!. Despite some of the negative reviews, I decided to give this place a try for lunch today. Granted, it was a late lunch, I think they did fine. Staff was pleasant, the El Diablo Azul burger was very good and flavorful. Plenty of heat and flavors going on. I had my burger in about 6 minutes from the time I ordered. Yes, the patty was on the dry side, but that is unavoidable with the thin-patty style burgers that seem to be endemic to the Northwest. To be clear, it was quite tasty - it had a great crispy crust from the flat-top, plenty of Maillard goodness!
Amazing burgers. Tender meat, well cooked. I had blue cheese on mine which was heavenly. Also really liked their gluten free buns; one of the best gluten free burgers I have ever had. Highly recommend it
The Chili Cheese Fries are spot on great!. I had no room to try a burger, but I wanted to stop in and get the feel and sample something. I opted for chili cheese fries and it was fantastic! Great, greasy fry quality and a mildly spiced chili.
The prices were very fair and the staff was super nice, which is a rarity in Seattle. The house sauce is called Blue Moon Sauce and consists of mayo and bbq. Similar to Campfire sauce at Red Robin and I hope to try it next time.
The service was good and very quick and the burgers were great. We sought them out for GF burgers and GF beer. Both were great!
One of the best burgers Ive had. I have had the Blue Shroom burger 3 times, it is one of the top 5 burgers that Ive ever tried. Oh and the shake and the tater tots are good.
I'll be back. I'm going to keep this short. I ordered a beef burger on a brioche bun with grilled onions, breaded and fried jalapeno disks, Beechers white cheddar, and Blue Moon sauce. It was gone within 45 seconds. That is all.
The Blue-shroom was excellent, nice flavor. Excellent service... Very timely.
What happened to the fries? I used to like them, now they're awful. Burgers are just as good as ever, though.
Good Burger!. I tried out Blue Moon Burgers at their South Lake Union location for the first time last night. I ordered the single burger with a side of their hand-cut fries. The burger was really good! Not too mention it was only half price due to their half-price Wednesdays during Happy Hour. The burger was nice and juicy, and you get plenty of fries. They also offer garlic parmesan fries. I'll try those next time. I'll definitely be back to try out some ot their other burgers on a Wednesday during Happy Hour.
Improved fries and much better burgers. Just had lunch here today, and the burgers and are very good. They use locally-sourced and pasture fed beef, which might be indistinguishable from mass-produced beef under a layer of cheese and bacon (as I had mine today), but is certainly the right way to raise and serve beef. I'm glad to see they are proud of this fact, and rightly so.
When this location first opened, the "fresh cut" fries were abysmal- limp and greasy. But my most recent visit showed they had drastically improved and were very tasty, as were the onion rings. And the best nice surprise? Excellent chicken wings. Try them! You won't be sorry.
Good. Visited the Fremont location.
Clean and openness feel, very friendly staff.
Tried Blue moon club burger, Chicken wings, Garlic parmesan fried, and Chocolate shake.
- Burger was freshly made; flame broiled meat portion appears small and overall reminded me of Burger King’s single whopper (hummm).
- Chicken wings (with house sauce) with blue cheese and ranch dipping were tasty.
- Garlic parmesan fries was good. Great punch from the garlic, but fries may be little over cooked.
- Chocolate shake was awesome. A real quality taste!
Would return for just for the wings, fries, and shake.
This place is pretty good, especially on Wednesdays where you get half price burgers with ordering a side. I got the Blue Bayou Burger (not sure about the name) with curry fries. The burger was great, the blue cheese and rest of the toppings really worked well together. I was kinda apprehensive about eating a medium well burger due to salmonella risk but that turned out okay. The curry fries were entirely too salty though and kinda sad and soggy it off the bag.
Phenomenal burgers, shakes, and fries. The menu is pretty jam packed and they have monthly specials. March was Guinness gravy fries, cheese steak burger, and a thin mint girl scout cookie milkshake. Of course I tried all 3. Loved the burger, very juicy and yet even with all the toppings the meat flavor wasn't overwhelmed. The fries and shake were also excellent, I hope march never ends so I can keep getting them. Very friendly staff as well.
The burger of the month (for August) is delicious! Love the chibatta bun the burger comes in. The burger is BIG! The fries taste fresh and are very tasty especially with Blue Moon's dipping sauce. Only things I wasn't a fan of were the fried pickles and onion rings. Didn't like the seasoning in the batter.
I came during lunch on a Friday so it was very busy! The service was quick considering the crowd, and most importantly they got my order perfectly right the first time. I really like that they have a good understanding of food allergies and lots of gluten free options. The staff was friendly and light hearted even though they were busy. Great food, great prices, great service!
Amazing burger and some good sweet potato fries! Accidentally walked in with my dog (not allowed), but the staff was very friendly and allowed me to order, then step back outside to wait for my food. Overall, this place was great and I would highly recommend them!
5 stars.
Staff was very friendly. We were greeted with a smile and pleasant disposition and treated well throughout our stay.
The menu was well balanced with many pre made burgers and sandwiches and a wide variety of options to build your own. There are many gluten free options as well.
The Diablo burger was deliciously spicy with a good combination of flavors. The Hangover was another delightful mashup of flavors. The fries are hand cut and cooked to a good consistency.
The shakes are made with real malt and quality ice cream. A wonderful treat. They also offer soda floats with your choice of premium sodas.
The atmosphere was what I would expect a Seattle burger joint to be like. A mix of different people all gathering to enjoy some quality food. The walls were covered with posters for various upcoming events including art shows, independent films and plays, concerts and museum events.
Overall, Blue Moon was a wonderful experience coupled with quality food for a fair price. Would highly recommend and go back again.
I go here often for three reasons - It's close, it's easy on the wallet and it's great!
There's a good selection of burgers and they've always tasted good. The curry fries are really good too.
Came here on a fluke after hearing mention of a deep-fried burger on a Seattle morning radio show. While this only has limited availability, there's no way I could pass on a burger called the "Code Blue". And while it certainly had all of the bacon and beef you could want in a burger (plus surprisingly delicious peanut butter sauce), I didn't feel stuffed afterwards at all. Full, yes, but not uncomfortably stuffed like I was expecting. Absolutely delicious.
Extra commendation for the Blue Moon sauce available for onion rings, etc. Dare I say Red Mill, whom I still love, has been surpassed?
Really tasty burgers and some creative combinations. Also have gluten-free buns, so most items are available gf! Points from me! Onion rings are the crunchiest I've had - they're breaded rather than battered. Definitely would come back when the craving hits!
Good food, good prices, extremely disorganized service. They never seem to have enough people on staff to handle any moderate amount of traffic, and as a result the cashier is always busy making shakes or bringing out food instead of taking down orders when the line is long. The monthly shake specials are excellent though.
Great little burger joint. Malts were delicious. Shoe-string frie were good. They were out of onion rings.
The Hawaiian burger with a black bean patty was outstanding. Devoured it.
The burgers were BOMB. I personally enjoyed them more than the Cheesecake Factory ones. The bacon slices are thick. Worth it. Needs to work on customer service; it's too slow.
