I first heard about this place on Facebook and their supersized pho bowls, and after visiting, I’ve made it goal to eat here every time I visit Seattle. The noodles are freshly made and have this great, bouncy texture since they’re made in-house. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the meats are tasty and very generous.
The family super bowl comes in 2-person to 6-person sizes, and an x-person super bowl is equivalent to x large bowls. It technically is slightly cheaper to just buy 3 separate large bowls than the 3-person super bowl for example, but I always go for the super bowl for the experience + pictures. And you’re provided with tongs and a ladle to share.
Pictured is a 4-person super bowl split between 3 people because we were hungry.
Amazing pho, 10/10 would recommend. I’ve only tried the pho but I’m sure their other food is also equally as great.

You come here for the giant bowl of pho and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s massive! You can get it in a portion for two people or more, and it’s probably the equivalent of two large bowls in the two person portion but you get to eat it from a massive bowl.
The pho itself is tasty and generous with toppings and meat. Not all phos are made alike and this one is delicious!

One of my favorite pho places in Downtown Seattle area. I love that they make their own rice noodles. You can definitely taste the difference and the quality of them. It's also nice that you can choose different sizes of pho, depending on how hungry you are.

BEST PHO IN WASHINGTON STATE!!! I’m from Spokane and I’m huge pho fan I have to try pho no matter what city or state I’m in and aDONG THAP NOODLES is the absolute besttttt pho and broth I ever have had. I wish I lived in Seattle just to eat this pho lol. My hubby got chow main we ordered the souper bowl for 2 egg rolls and spring rolls. It came to about 70 bucks but it was worthhhhh it I’m telling you!!!!! The souped bowl for 2 is 30$ and that’s cheap to me! It’s huge and very feeling

The best pho in all of Seattle. Period. Homemade noodles tasted fresh without that artificial rubbery flavor, and had an awesome chewy tangy texture. Broth was incredible, it's definitely on the sweeter, saltier side but that's just how I like it. Portions are huge, (which is what they're also famous for) I could barely finish my Large sized bowl.
You can skip the cha gio though, nothing spectacular about it. Bun bo hue was awesome too.
Def coming back, recommended!

I am surprised that this place wasn't a lot more busy when we got there. We were a party of 7 and immediately got seated. We ordered the super large pho bowl. The largest one that they had. We finished the bowl no problem (3 kiddos). The bowl size is impressive. The bowl was filled halfway. Pho quality was pretty good. Service was good. Staff were friendly. If you're a pho lover, it's worth it to go for the experience of the largest pho bowl!

Excellent pho. Not stingy on the amount of meat. Got the medium size and I’m stuffed. The place is super clean as well which makes the experience much more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Favorite Pho & Vermicelli place ever! I love this place so much! I usually get the lemongrass chicken vermicelli or rare steak pho. Could eat here every day and never get tired of it. Always fresh and the service is super friendly and they are quick! Highly recommend!

Amazing pho spot. The best I have ever had anywhere. The super bowl they are famous for is so large you truly need to do it with others. Also it must be ordered by appointment. But there are smaller bowls for normal meals and are worth it in every aspect. The DAILY HOME MADE noodles which make this place famous are the essence of the pho. The broth is rich and delicious also. It is so good, you will not look at another bowl of pho the same way. Make an effort to come here. It will be worth your while. They are usually busy so make sure you plan accordingly. Parking is all street parking.

We tried a Jumbo family size's noodle. It's super big and good for a whole family! It's tasty, but they used Chinese flat noodles instead of the regular Vietnamese one. The big white bowl is a wonderful gimmick for customers to take pictures and do the noodle challenge!

We were lazy on the couch, and while on Tik Tok saw these massive bowl and we just had to try it. Good news. It was only 5 minutes from my place.
It’s just in between yessler and Jackson and has lots of parking on the side road it sits in.
Walked in and got seated immediately. The space was a cute and small with maybe 10ish tables.
The menu showed family size pho and we just had to order it. We immediately noticed that the noodles looked different and were super delicious. At the end we found out that they make them in house.
I have tried a lot of pho places in the ID. With the family bowl concept I forsee myself brining groups of friends to have an experience together.

We came for the giant pho, and we were not disappointed! The noodles are made fresh, and have a lovely texture, the broth is flavorful and the meats are well cooked and tender. We also tried the "banana cake" and were pleasantly surprised.
It consists of a caramelized banana wrapped in a mochi-textured steam bun, served with a not too sweet coconut sauce and crunchy peanuts. It was a fun exploration of textures with delicately balanced flavors, very unique and delightful. The space has been recently updated and looks great, and the owners are always friendly and lovely. I love recommending dong thap to my friends. Quite the hidden gem

Superb pho, including amazing broth and homemade rice noodles. I’ve recently been to several pho places in the area and none compared to this one! We’ll be back!

Fresh noodles made at the restaurant, pho broth is rich and delicious. A variety of portion size available including the Superbowl challenge! Highly recommended to try!

It wasn't the best pho I've had, I have 3 other spots in Lakewood, Puyallup and Kent that the broth and noodles are amazing. Honestly, my youngest son loves pho and I wanted him to try it out. He was highly disappointed and wanted me to Yelp it with one star. The place is very small and a party of 6 we had to stand by the door for about 30-35minutes till they had room for us. A party of 2 would've seated faster. They are more expensive and less soup and meat, unlike our other top 3. It was definitely an experience, an okay one.

Just moved to the area and promised someone I would check it out. Checked it out and it was really good. Its not a fancy place but its usually the small places that are the best. They did not disappoint. The service was great. They have an assortment of meats to add and the noodles were just right! Definitely be going again.

this is the best pho I had and the biggest pho noodle bowl in U.S A .. even though I didn't finished but the pho was delicious and the service is nice and the owner is very friendly. awesome life experience

Honestly, we went for the "super bowl" - the "world's largest bowl of pho". Since we were not taking the challenge, we did not have to call ahead, we simply ordered 3 large "house special" pho and they put them all in the great big bowl. They also brought us individual bowls and a ladle. For two adults and two kids this was plenty of delicious food! The noodles are tasty and not chewy like some places. Having arrived at 10am on a Sunday there was plenty of space and no wait.

The giant bowl of pho we had while here was filling and tasty. There were great things like coconut juice to go with the meal. I highly reccomend this place to any one traveling to Seattle

Oh my, the homemade noodles are to die for! They are a dynamic young family with recipes that are so flavorful and interesting I always want to try something new, but my favorites are the chicken pho, the pork vermicelli and the Phad Thai.
The owners are so wonderful that I love to go in just to visit the staff.
I recommend that anyone go there and try it out.
Yes, sometimes they are very busy due to the volume of people they serve, but do not be discouraged by the lines, they work hard to take care of their customers.

IMO
1. The broth is the first important thing about beef noodle soup. Soup smells great but has little to no taste of beef. The broth was not boiling hot like it should be. It was warm enough for me to drink.
2. Their home made noodles has the texture of Campbell’s chicken soup noodles and I was excited to try but the noodles just didn’t go very well with pho. Their oil pepper chili has a sour taste to it and it completely threw the broth off even though the soup wasn’t really tasty.
3. This pho spot is on my top 5 worst pho. ALL HYPE
I’ve seen dong thap on social media and even on the news and thought this is one of my food destinations I need to visit. I was disappointed after my visit. If you love pho and know how it should really taste like then this place is not for you.

My fiancé and I live in Port Angeles and we heard about Dong Thap "Home of the largest pho" on Facebook and through buzzfeed so we took the 3 hour trip to see what the fuss was about. The noodles are made in house and they were so soft and held flavor well, the broth & meats were very flavorful. We don't have good pho in our area and this pho was pho-nomenal I would definitely recommend it and we will be returning back soon!

Long line but friendly staff. The pho was the best I've ever had! I'll be making the drive as often as I can 😉

Good food, I recommend it for Pho. (Didn't get the massive bowl, but the home made noodles were great.)

Love pho go Seahawks. If I could just go back.and crawl over that goal line.we would have had 2 super bowls.

Seriously the best pho ever! My friend lived in Vietnam and even said this place was better! It's authentic, fresh, flavorful and a great experience! Pho sho!

We came all the way from Vancouver to try the popular pho. Their homemade noodles are the best. We ordered the "Super Bowl" & we enjoyed it. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming especially the woman, I forgot to ask her name . The servings are hearty, and the soup is delicious. One of the best Vietnamese restaurant!!! We will definitely visit this place everytime we go to Seattle.

Good pho with homemade noodles. Can be busy at times, but worth the wait.

Slow on getting our foods, The broth was not hot enough, I like the traditional pho rice noodle but otherwise it's good...for a noodle house that specializes in one things...U think they would be quick.
Aaron McCabe
I know everyone has different opinions but mine was that the food was delicious and the service was good. I would definitely return. It's small and busy but we didn't wait too long. Besides it was worth the wait.
Kinoy Jamsy Phonexiengsa
Broth was good, but the pho noodles was not what I'm used to, soft and didn't have that pho texture!! Won't be having pho there again.
Ismael Suarez
Service was ok. I wouldn't say it's the best Pho I ever had. Came here of the internet hype on the big Pho bowl but it wasn't what I expected I was a little disappointed.
