Recently visited my Brother who moved to Seattle about six months ago. He told me we had to stop in at this awesome cupcake/ice cream shop. I am so glad we did!!! The salted caramel cupcake ice cream was to die for! I will forever be dreaming about it until I can go back out there and get some more!! The red velvet cupcake ice cream was also amazing! Sure wish there was one of these shops in my area! Highly reccomend this place!
Vegan chocolate cupcakes are delicious. Hibiscus tea was yummy every thing was soo yummy �
The hardest thing is choosing which cupcake to eat. Now it's worse... they've got delicious donuts too!
Cupcake Royal in Ballard is exceptional. The baristas and management offer great service and great coffee. They remember my drink, things we've discussed in small talk and are always insanely friendly. I frequent this shop 3-5 times a week and have never received anything but great service and tasty coffee.
This Cupcake Royal is within a block of Ballard Coffee House, Starbucks and Bauhaus. I have tried them all and this place is by far the best in both service and coffee.
Amazing, everything was amazing. Loved the cupcake. Loved the iced cream.
Had to wait a bit because there was only one person working the place, but she was friendly and helpful once she had finished serving the family ahead of us. We got several cupcakes including a few gluten free, with a small but nice variety of flavors. The packaging is cute and tidy, and she was careful to keep the gluten free ones separate. The cupcakes themselves were delicious! Will definitely come back.

We decided we didn't want a big cake for our guests at our wedding, so we picked Cupcake Royale for our guests instead. They were great from start to finish. They answered emails quickly, got all of the cupcakes delivered on the early side of the delivery window and of course the cupcakes were delicious.
Really good cupcakes and even better ice cream. The salted caramel cupcake and ice cream are both great and go well together in the sundae.
Really good baked treats that aren't too sweet. There frosting on the cupcakes don't overpower the cake portion of the cupcake. Their cookies are really good at well I just wish they were a little bigger especially for the price. The coffee is pretty good and there's a nice seating area to sit.

I’ve tried the red velvet, salted caramel, and the kate cupcake from here, the salted caramel was almost too salty? I couldn’t finish it, and the kate cupcake was dry. But the red velvet on the other hand… WOW. New favorite. It has consistently tasted delicious every time I have gotten it, I love it so much that I literally had a dream about their red velvet cupcakes last night. AND and as a person who hates excess frosting on cupcakes, these have just the right amount😊

The cupcakes were fluffy, and our order came out to ~$18.50 before tipping.

I LOVE this place. The atmosphere is so cool at the Ballard location, but the food is good no matter which local you visit. The selection is stellar. I've had the Elvis,( p.b. banana and bacon), peach cobbler, eggnog Snicker doodle, and Strawberry Champagne, my favorite.
They also offer gluten free and baby cupcakes,( minis), ice cream and tasty beverages.
Their ice cream is too die for! I highly recommend the tripple vanilla, also available at Metropolitan Market. It's like no vanilla you have ever tasted. They also serve Stump Town Coffee, so I highly recommend getting a latte to dunk your cupcake in.
Oh, they also have doughnuts!
Bring the fam and get your sugary snack on.
For all my gluten free friends out there - this is the spot for a tasty cupcake! And you even have more than one option!! Rejoice! Plus, you really can't beat the vibe, the inclusivity, and the always friendly staff.
Great service. Very clean establishment. Selection was very slim, but we may have come before they restocked the flavors. What we did have was very tasty.
