We had a nice lunch. Our server was Kevin. He felt he was late getting to us and was very nice and helpful throughout our meal. The restaurant was in good order. It was clean. Checked out the restroom, and it was clean as well. I ordered a fisherman's old fashion and I like it very much. My wife had a glass of red wine and it was nice too. She ordered the fish and Chips and ate what she could until she was full. I had the Salmon BLT. juicy and flavorful. I ate the whole thing. Their fries were decent.

Had the most amazing service here from Louise! Very friendly, very engaging, super excellent at her job!
She recommended a meal and drink and they were both perfect! Really enjoyed my food and although the crab was super messy, I had a lot of fun.
Gorgeous view of the sunset too!
Louise, thanks for making my experience here super fun!

This was a nice place, sun was coming down and we all had to move to one end of the table. Tony our server was really polite, informative. Food was just ok…my Caesar’s salad was very good, the shrimp Mac and cheese was fishy tasting.

Came here after doing a boat cruise off the water. It was a pretty chilly morning so I asked the server for for some hot chocolate. She brings me a lukewarm hot chocolate with a bowl of whipped cream on the side.. My cousin asked for a hot chocolate as well and hers came out much hotter than mine.. I didn’t even drink the lukewarm hot chocolate and asked her shortly after for another one because it wasn’t hot and it was cold outside where we were sitting. She brings us two more hot chocolates but this time they are bland… it was just brown hot water.. we didn’t drink it.. the mugs were probably 5 or 6 oz mugs.. again we told our server again about the hot chocolate. My this time it had started raining and everyone had moved inside but us. But then it started to rain harder so we just moved inside without being seated again and the server looked annoyed that we did that. So we tell her about the hot chocolates being bland and she said “I don’t know what to tell you guys, I put a giant spoon full of chocolate in it” and we just kind of looked at her confused .. I don’t know what she wanted us to say to that.. the hot chocolate wasn’t chocolate at and or hot..
Anyways we ordered a side of smoked salmon, a clam chowder in a bread bowl and PNW captains plate. The smoked salmon was so good! The best I have ever had with such a rich but not over powering taste. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had! It was such a balance of flavors, not fishy at all and nice and creamy! The captains plate had a delicious fried halibut and Alaskan pollock, so good! The Pablo prawns were good too but the calamari was a miss. We didn’t eat it, it had no flavor.. the fries could have been fried longer, they were a little soggy but over all we had such a good meal! And despite the annoyed server, I would recommend this place.

Great indoor and outdoor seating. Great service workers. Nice friendly and helpful. I like the foods too. The portions are just right and everything tastes great! Terrific views await you. I know I will drop by whenever business and pleasure keeps me in Seattle.

The restaurant is right next to the great wheel, perfect view from the deck and you can observe the people inside great wheel😂
Food is ok, salad was not really fresh and crab dip is bit too greasy, not my personal preference. If you like the rich taste and love cheese, this would probably be perfect for you.
The server Kevin is very attentive and welcoming, five star service for sure also plenty indoor/outdoor seating, great for larger groups.

We had a nice lunch here while visiting family. Sat outdoors on the large deck next to the ferris wheel and overlooking the water, and it was glorious. The food was quite good, especially the Alaskan King Troll and some of the unique fish sandwiches. Our server was pleasant, but I got a sense that the restaurant (like many places) may have been suffering from a staffing shortage.

They have a late night happy hour, 7pm to close! The food isn't anything special, but good enough if you are hungry and drinking. The $6 draft beers for happy hour and the close proximity to the wheel and the Sound makes it a nice atmosphere and decent choice. The bartender was personable and fun to be around.

Just passing through the Seattle area & following the suggestion of a friend to eat here.
The atmosphere, workers & food were all wonderful. Our server, Marquis, knew his stuff !
I ordered the “Red Chowder” because I’ve never had it. Let me tell you…it DID NOT disappoint !
It has the taste of a seafood version of Brunswick Stew !?
The ONLY struggle I had was the high prices, but…You get what you pay for !!!

I originally came in for a couple of drinks since it was right next to the Big Wheel. But after seeing fresh local fish on the menu, I had to give it a try. My bartender was very knowledgeable on the menu and made a super tasty Bloody Mary as i looked over what to eat. Since Salmon is one of my favorites, I had to order. Honestly, it is absolutely delicious. From the columbian river Salmon to the rice and vegetables, all wonderful. I was suprised how the vegetables were tangy and complimented the fish. The rice was great as well. I'm not usually a rice person, but the added mushrooms were a nice touch. After the much filling meal, I ordered 1 oyster shooter, and that little thing had a Kick! Very Tasty!! Next time I'm in the area I will most definitely stop by.

The food was good . We had the pasta .and side of vegetables . Love the location of the restaurant . Its got inside and outside dining . Its got two levels . Its got a bar . Its got Washrooms . They give complimentary soughdough bread on your table . I added the pictures of the menu in my post . For vegetarian folks its just the pasta dish thats vegetarian and some side dishes , but if your into seafood this place has alot of verity .

Best halibut tacos ever!
Taste buds were on overload.
I was expecting more with the bloody Mary considering it is a seafood restaurant... but definitely will be back.
Jennifer Harris
Excellent service and delicious food. Not pictured crab dip and the burger. The halibut taco was the best fish taco I’ve had. The bread was great as was the chowder😋. Lemonade was refreshing.
Sue Scheiber
Sat outdoors since weather so good. Appetizers of oysters, spicy shrimp mac and cheese, shrimp cocktail and chowder. All were wonderful! Should have shared crab and bacon melt. Too big after all the apps. But the best part was the homemade sourdough. Perfect. Don't be scared of the long line, it's probably for the ferris wheel. Hint: ride first, eat after!
Gary Estrada King
Excellent seafood chowder (fisherman's chowder). A good bit of tomato flavor but still get good helpings of halibut and cod that balance the flavor nicely. But the real star was the Whole Dungeness Crab. Simply fantastic. The outside deck seating with a great view of the bay and incoming and outgoing ships and sailboats was just the icing. Will absolutely be returning.
Ralph Woody Cotnoir
The food was good but the service could have been a lot better. We felt like we were being ignored by our server even though they weren't busy. When glasses go empty with no server in sight, to me that's a problem!!
Misty Cox
First time here and we were hoping for some really great seafood! Ordered the prawns and chips and the king crab sandwich, both were so yummy! We definitely recommend.
Diane Kibbie Larsen
We had the calamari as an appetizer, it was perfectly made. We ordered the crab sandwich and salmon BLT off the lunch menu. Both were fabulous. The French fries...yum! They were just right, too. Nice and crispy on the outside with a perfectly soft potato inside. We ate at an outside table. The great food and atmosphere helped remind me of why I go back time after time. If you're on the Seattle waterfront, you simply must eat at The Fisherman's Restaurant...period!
Jenny Oswald
So disappointed. I ordered halibut. First they brought my food to me cold then the halibut had NO flavor. Will not eat here again, definitely not worth the price.
Storm King
Wifes Salmon was severely undercooked, my fries on my plate were served hotter then my halibut which was cold in the center. When i complained to the waitress she tried to tell me thats because its fresh seafood. I explained to her we have restraunts in Santa Cruz where the fish is caught the same day its cooked and we know what fresh seafood is.The waitress had an attitude. We ended up sending the food back, still paid the $90 bill and left feeling as though i had been robbed.

We arrived at at 11am when they opened for our Valentine's Day lunch. We were seated immediately and had a lovely view of West Seattle and the shipyards. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. They had small, under seasoned, overpriced, portions. A rude wait staff, who seemed put off by questions about the menu. There was a gross accumulation of old bread crumbs left from the day before or longer. The pricing and menu, listed online was dramatically different, prices were 30% to 50% greater and many items were no longer available. Even the daily oyster list was only 50% accurate. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Shirley Miner
Great food and view of the waterfront. Our server was a fantastic. I had the Columbia River King Salmon. It was delicious. We were never rushed from our seats which was nice and relaxing. I most definitely visit this restaurant again.
Shawna Kreie-Schock
I was very Impressed with the whole experience. I got to choose where to sit. Our waiters name was Joey, and he was excellent, we were never ignored no matter how busy he was, he asked how my ladies were doing, it is wonderful to get that much attention when you are eating. My daughters and I had the Clam Dip for an appetizer, it was to die for. I love Clam Chowder and it was the best Clam Chowder I have ever had. I had the Halibut and Chips for my main entree, I was happy from beginning to end with the whole experience.
Dshchii Bikoh Ndee Angel
It took a while to be seated and waited about 20 minutes for our food but we had a great server. He constantly made sure we had what we needed while we waited. I got the blackened salmon with stuffed crab. It was by far the best salmon I've tried. It was cooked just right, it had the right texture, moist & just delicious. I'd love to return one day. 👍
John A Nordin
We were there yesterday and everything was excellent.Wife had fish and Chios and I had the fish tacos. Both meals were excellent and our waiter was very good and on top of everything.Only issue is too many Jalapeños and those hit me about a hour after we left. This was our third time there and we were not Dissapointed.
Nicole Gannon
The worst food and the waiter was not good . Do not recommend this place . Need a new cook .
Tera Dreier
Our table was not level and dirty, the food was barely warm when it arrived. Our server did not check on us or provide drink refills
James D Smith
Over priced food.
I attentive waitresses.
Watered down drinks..
Would not recommend it..

The maître d wasn’t the most hospitable and needed help ringing in a take out order. We got our food on time and ate back at the condo. The crab cakes were great as was the dipping sauce! Calamari was disappointing as the squid was a bit rubbery - nice to have two sauces though! The stuffed sole was just breaded? Maybe we got the wrong dish. It came with steamed broccoli, red peppers and a rice side - all of which were fairly boring. It’s a bit of a tourist trap down here being on the water and by the aquarium/big wheel ride.
Amber
We just stopped here for a drink. We wanted to sit on the water, the view was nice. Drinks were tasty, I’m still baffled that you can mix your red bull and alcohol together legally here, that’s not allowed in Canada. Nevertheless we enjoyed the red sangria with red bull in it- I know my poor heart, poor life choices on my part. We had a tough time finding the entrance, but we made it!
Few As Much
Great restaurant, food was delicious, service was fast and efficient. Many varieties on the menu but could have be better. Surely will visit again.
Robert Loewen
Easily the best restaurant on the pier in downtown Seattle. When we arrived the wait time to get in was 35 mins but the restaurant has a fantastic system that will text you when a table is ready meaning you don't have to sit around and sure enough our table was ready in exactly 35 mins. . This restaurant features a great location with a fantastic view of the water (outdoor seating). We tried the muscles, salmon nigiri, clam chowder, baked salmon, and stuffed sole. Didn't have a complaint about a single one of them. Service was amazing and extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

This is one of our favorite places on the Boardwalk to eat cause the views of the mountains and the bay are outstanding! The staff could be a bit more attentive but the food is great! Got the vegetarian alfredo and it is heaven. hearty fresh veggies smothered in a cheesy buttery alfredo sauce- yummy!
Anviksha Singh
Located at Pier 57, this restaurant is right on the water and has a beautiful view of the Great Wheel. We got the Halibut Fish and Chips and a bucket of clams and mussels - both delicious. Bonus: the cute pirate ship decor!
Biswajit Das
A must go to place in Downtown Seattle. The best sea food to enjoy on the shores of Lake Washington. Great beers with a wide variety to choose from.
Goli
Best seafood restaurant in Seattle! They have a Salmon Feast that is simply delicious! It comes with a bucket of mussels, soup and salad, the entrée, and a dessert! So yummy! It's also located next to the Seattle Great Wheel!
Anna
Got the Crab Feast with my husband to celebrate. Hubs loved the chowder, and he doesn't like chowder at all. He subbed oysters for the clam/mussel bucket and they made him sick later but said they tasted fine. The crab was incredible. Fresh and well cooked. The salad was over-dressed and had some brown lettuce but overall it was amazing. Absolutely massive amount of food for the money. It was about $100 for the feast for two of us.
Mike Swift
An absolute tourist trap, but a lovely setting and tasty food. I did although find head of house very dismissive, but the server I had was lovely and very helpful.

Food was rather on the expensive side $5.50 for a lettuce leaf and 3 pieces of cucumber.

The crab was as expected but at $30+ dollars again felt a little overpriced, but very tasty. A finger bowl and bib would have been great for splashback issues (crabs' revenge) and greasy paws.

Overall, tourist fair with pricey experience. Glad I did it once. But that was enough.

With the still blistery hot temperature of the day (an all-time high for Seattle) prevailing, we soon were desperate for some shade and relative comfort. It was baffling how the ambient temperature seemed to drop a few degrees as we got closer and closer

Seattle's Great Wheel, at the end of Pier 56, also known as Miner's Landing, looms over a sprawling eatery called The Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar. Its 84 tables and dozens of blue umbrellas fan out across the patio and balcony (all overlooked by a food court on the third level).
Mariel Solis
Very disappointed. Was expecting some delicious halibut and chips for 22.50. Very over cooked and chewy. I was in from out of town and expecting a fresh seafood dinner right on the water. Definitely do not recommend this place. However the service was very friendly.
Tyla
The food was good a little overpriced but the hostest was very rude. I have never been treated that badly in a restaurant.
Renee And Dave
We were ready for a blah experience based on the reviews, but I really enjoyed my dinner there. I had salmon skewers, which were mesquite grilled with rosemary. All meals come with delicious sourdough bread and soup or salad. We went at sunset and sat outside right by the pier. Our waiter was attentive and nice
Jo Jameson
Very disappointing. Great view - but it was the only good thing about our meal. Service was fine. Food was terrible and dated. Halibut and chips - fish was dry (was it even halibut? I'm doubtful) and flavorless and the fries weren't even as good as McDonald's fries. Shrimp cocktail was ok but nothing special, and it was the only edible part of the meal for me. The house cabernet was ok but nothing special. Go to Ivar's which is only a couple of blocks away.
Food Lover
As a family of four, wanting a pleasant experience on Seattle's waterfront. We came across the the Fisherman's Restaurant.

We were drawn in by the lovely patio view. That was the only good component of the restaurant.

The service was mediocre at best. All the employees seemed frazzled and disinterested in providing any service beyond the most basic. At no point in our visit did the hostess seem in the slightest bit friendly. She seemed
to be doing everyone a favor by seating them! The manager was wandering around with a drink verses ensuring a well run restaurant. The server was running around disorganized or overwhelmed. That's too bad!

The food was stuck in the 80's. We ordered the crab and shrimp salad and the ahi tuna. Very disappointing execution. The first beer was flat. The glass was chipped the second time. The third beer was completely forgotten. The strawberry lemonade was disgustingly syrupy! When asked about the bread prior to dinner, the server said that they ran out! How do you run out of bread at 7:00. The children's meals were unedible! Poor management!!!
As a restauranteur, I would have to provide a "definite thumbs down". Don't waste your money!
Hank Vogt
Very weak drinks. No salt and pepper at table. Poor service. Ok clam chowder. You are better off going to the Crab Pot!! Was there last night and it was great!!
Crystal Sannes Sawatzky
Don't listen to the bad reviews ... We almost did and would have missed out on an amazing meal. We had the Crab Feast and could not believe the portions for the price. Go. Take your time. Enjoy. Don't stress about the waiter taking so long. Highly recommend the 4 course Feast.
Edward Basta
Just stopped in for a light snack and a beer in between sightseeing. Very poor service. Food and drinks out at same time and the sever was trying to carry so much on her tray she dropped the salad. And it was at the end of the lunch rush and only a few tables sat in our section. Food was decent and somehow the beer still came to the table cold.
Victoria K
I started my meal with a ceaser salad and it was alright but was very stuck in the 80's! There were three crutons and to be fair it tasted okay but i make better at home. For this price I want to be wowed!! Thought I was going to have amazing clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. I was wrong. Chowder was lackluster and shrimp was so small I needed a magnifying glass to find it. The shrimp sauce tasted 'off' and not at all like a cocktail sauce. My husband had the steak and it wasn't cooked as he asked to medium. It was decidedly well done. His potatoes were cold and premade then reheated. Not freshly made something akin to reheated hashbrown breakfast potatoes. The view was great. That's about all that was great. Service was okay but I WON'T be back.
Lonely Islander
I don't get the low rating or poor reviews. Yes, the service seemed a bit disorganized, but I attribute that more to us showing up 10 minutes before close. They had no problem with us and another couple who were also late walk-ins.

As for the food - excellent! While I would have preferred real Calamari instead of the processed strips, the clam chowder and crab dip were amazing and were only outdone by the perfectly cooked bone-in pork chop. In trying to cook all of the pink out of the meat, most restaurants serve them very dry and cover it up with gravy. Not here! It was fully cooked and juicy - no sauce served because none was necessary. The accompanying asparagus were crisp and the potatos flavourful. Well done!!
JMW
Just not good. Pasty fisherman's chowder and uninterested service. If you go for the view, go now before the Seattle Wheel goes up this summer.

Poor sevice, food, attempted recovery. I went here on looking at reviews with family from out of town that wanted seafood. We go there, service was very very slow, my friend ordered a flavored shot,, had to ask for it 3 times. Food came, burgers bland, no artichoke in crab melt, and salmon and chips,,,well lets just say, fries were cold and salmon luke warm. They finally brought out hot fries and wanted to redo salmon but I was not willing to wait as it took a while to get food out in first place. They did remove the salmon meal from the ticket as a customer service recovery attempt. Water and sodas kept full but that was all that was good about service. Our waiter stated that they had gotten suddenly busy and were short one person. First,,,,that is the issue of the business and not my concern as a customer....even if they were short it should not be apparent to your customers...will I go back...probably not.
Gary Towne
Great food and service. Ahi yellow fin was the best
Bf
Terrible and overpriced!. I thought this place looked good based on how busy the patio was and signs advertising fresh seafood. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. The selection looked great but very pricey. I ordered the Mahi Mahi since I enjoyed it so much in hawaii so was expecting it to be good. The portion sizes were very generous, however, lots of terrible food is just still terrible. I didn't finish half of my dinner and that combined with one very overpriced maragirta cost me over $40!!!! I definitely do not recommend and most certainly will not go again.
Bob
Halibut Grilled to Perfection. In Seattle on business, had dinner here with friends. Fisherman's chowder was chunky, and full of flavor. Order the grilled Halibut, came with rice and veggies.
Edgeplot
Friendly service but terrible food. Steer clear.
Jpstanley
Just ok. Great atmosphere...bad service...ok food..not much else to say...
Richard Jones
Decent service, disgusting food. Seafood was not fresh. Still have a bad feeling about it the morning after.. I feel violated. Do not go here! Cheers.
Anna
A nice place to stop for a break. Quick pit stop before heading out to explore the rest of the city. Quick and friendly service.
Noslokire
Fairly certain. That this place some of the worst service in Seattle. Been here a few times because, well, despite the poor service, they do have a good chowder and great views.
LK
A nice place with a view.. Went here with some family, and we all very much enjoyed it. The food was quite good, and we had no issues with the service. It was a big pricey. But the view is excellent, and it's in a great location.

Bad expierence. I had family visiting from out of state for my daughters baby shower. On Sept. 4, 2009 we had been to the market and made our way down to the waterfront, where we came upon the Fishermans Restaurant & Bar at Pier 57. We went in to have drinks and appetizers when my pregnant daughter took a sip of her cola and discovered a piece of broken glass, which she sucked up from her straw. We then discovered at least 2 more pieces of glass in the bottom of her glass (too big to be sucked in through a straw, unlike the other).

My daughter was very upset, thinking of what could have happened. My brother in-law took the glass to the bartender and waitress and told them what had happened (the bartender said he was going to clean out the ice container).

Meanwhile, I heard 4-5 glasses crash to the floor in the bar area. I wonder if that was the source of the glass.

My brother in-law asked to speak to the Manager. The manager did come to the table, really no great concern was shown. He asked what we had ordered, we told him beverages and that we had placed an order for an appetizer, which we had been waiting for quite a while. He then left. I thought we'd at least get the appetizer a bit quicker, it took another 20 minutes and was not worth waiting for.

I would have thought the charge for her drink would have been removed from our nearly $100 bill. He never even came back to inquire if she was OK. Oh, I did see him look our way sometime later.

We left and went on seeing the sights and stopped in at Ivars where we had great food and customer service.

Now my in-laws are back home, but I'm still here in the Seattle area. I've told everyone I know about our experience with your restaurant and will continue to do so.
Gotta Eat
Loving the seafood. We went down to seattle the other day to do some shopping, and we decided to stop at this place for dinner. Their seafood menu is extensive, so we had a lot of options. I had the seafood brochette, which had chucks of white fish, mahi mahi, and salmon. It was fabulous! The dinner came with clam chowder, which was very good and filling. The server also brought bread, but it was too dry and sour for my taste. The location of the restaurant was perfect since it was right by the water. I truly enjoyed my night at the restaurant and service was very good. As compare to fancy vancouver restaurant, it really wasn't that expensive.
Shawn Morris
Food was ok. I liked the clam chowder. My swordfish had good flavor but was tough. You pay for the location at this restaurant.
Andrew Haass
In short, this was one of the best dinners i've had in a long time. it was a bit on the expensive side, but the food never stopes coming
Dianne Cipollo
Best seafood experience. This is a restaurant that my husband and I have frequented for years, we make a point to visit The Fisherman's when ever we are in Seattle.
We love the bucket of clam's there, and they are so plentiful and the price is right that you can't beat the value or the quality of the food.
The view is awesome and the atmosphere is just right.
So if your ever in Seattle and want a great place to eat try the Fisherman's you won't be disappointed.
Dianne & Andy Cipollo
Lark
Freakin' terrible.. Went there for lunch. Empty. Bad service (forgetful at best, neglectful at worst), dried out food (too much time under a heatlamp) that tasted awful. Everything about this experience was a losing proposition. Had to beg for the check in an empty room of tables. This is one of those places that trades on location and tourists, figuring that they can serve 'em anything they find under the dock if they fry it. Never again. And please. learn from my mistake. This is expensive mediocrity and you should save your money for one of the restaurants that actually cares a little about how their food tastes and how their customers are treated. I know, it's convenient. You just went to the Aquarium, and there it is. Don't. Trust. Convenience. Walk the extra block. It'll be better. It HAS to be.
