Review Wedgwood Ii Vegetarian Thai - Seattle

The restaurant was very clean, the service was fast, and the food was delicious! The spices here are way hotter than your average Thai restaurant, when choosing a spice level I would recommend to tone it down by one or two numbers. This is coming from someone who is used to eating spicy food.

The food was really amazing and cheap too. I love Thai food and was happy to find a vegetarian Thai place that also served great vegan food. The only complaints I have are that the washrooms were a bit disorderly and the waitress could only be described as apathetic at best. I would still come back for more delicious food though.

Step right in away from the cold. Order their hot pot soup, every imaginable flavor packed into that sizzling bowl, scoop it over rice and viola, you float. The server was very friendly. We felt relaxed here and we definitely enjoyed our delicious meal.

This is quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Seattle. As far as Thai food is concerned it’s the best I’ve had—although I haven’t been to Thailand so I’m not an expert by any means. Thai Siam in the Crown Hill neighborhood used to be my favorite, and if I’m in a hurry and nearby I’ll still stop there for a curry. As far as vegetarian food is concerned, this is my top vegetarian restaurant in Seattle as well. Staff and owners are very friendly. Great for a date or to eat alone! If you must have meat, then try Thai of Wedgwood about 15 minutes north in the Wedgwood neighborhood. Same great taste but with meat.

What a hidden gem! I had the mixed vegetable delight with tofu and lots of veggies. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere is basic, but you’ll love the food.

The food here is really tasty. I ordered the fresh rolls, the onion cakes (both pictured below), the pineapple curry, and the phad phirk king. All was very tasty. Very vegan accommodating

Food was tasty. They do have egg in vegetarian meat. So if you are vegan, make sure to check while you order.

Our first time in last night to Wedgewood II and it was absolutely delicious! Some of the best, absolutely best spring rolls I have ever had and our meal was just as fantabulous! The wait staff and atmosphere was so friendly we will definitely be going back as soon as we can😊 parking only on the street on Broadway but there is free 2 hour parking around behind the buildings if you can get it. We parked a block down in a little lot, cost us less than $4 for an hour and it was so worth it plus, just a little walk after dinner helped too... LOL...highly highly recommend this restaurant... Super clean

Wedgewood is one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve ever been to. Vegetarian or not! They have really good portions and the staff is so friendly. Gina, the owner, is such a sweet heart and really puts effort into getting to know her regular customers! I get the pad Thai without eggs (so vegan) and I’m obsessed. Also the Thai tea with coconut milk (also vegan) is so delicious! I recommend this place to everyone! I can’t wait to eat here in person (which is open by the way I’m just not comfy eating in yet)

This is the best vegetarian Thai food I have ever eaten. Do yourself a favor and try their fake beef with broccoli and curried fish.

Wonderful place for a vegetarian. So many choices! We had spring roll and curry fried rice and both were fantastic. Gina the owner is super friendly. She gave us a brief talk about her culinary past which was very nice. Will be visiting this gem of a place again soon.

Awesome food and friendly service! Everyone will like this place, even those that normally eat meat. The women who served us was very knowledgeable about the food. One person with us was concerned about their food having coconut milk which is very common in Thai food, because they often felt sick after eating at other Thai places. The server made several recommendations on what would be good to try, and followed up with us after we got the food to make sure the item turned out okay. They were more than willing to customize any meal for guests. Just overall great food. Probably the best Thai I’ve ever had.

Such kind service and good food! Loved that the owner, chef, and server were the same person. Her Pad Thai and papaya salad were great, and it seems like most things are vegan (remove the eggs on the Pad Thai)! Clean and comfortable space. Will be back!

What a great place! The food was delicious and the owner, Gina, gave such wonderful service and was so kind to our young daughters. We had the pineapple fried rice and the peanut sauce noodles and both were amazing. Definitely recommended!

In a city where there are a lot of Thai options available, it's hard to find to find the ones that try and do something different, to stand out among the others - this is one of the restaurants that do. At this time, the dine-in option is not available. However I can say that the location (on Broadway across the street from the North QFC) has a cozy interior, with a visually pleasant arrangement on par with a lot of restaurants. Its level of cleanliness however (even with dine-in not available) is very note-worthy and does add the the dining experience when it becomes available. There is also no outdoor seating. I ordered Pad Thai, while not a vegetarian myself, if I were to become one I would probably be relying on this place quite a bit. The dish was excellent, not a fan of tofu but the way it was made was delicious, and every bite had a larger variety of flavors that you don't get at other Thai restaurants. Portion sizing is fairly generous as well. The cherry on top is after finishing the meal, I did not feel bloated or tired like I often feel after I eat similar dishes that have meat in them. I definitely recommend this if you're looking for a healthy alternative to the Thai food scene in Seattle to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians!

First time trying Wedgewood Thai over the weekend. The BEST Thai food I have had in a long time! I live in Tacoma and would gladly make the drive for their drool-worthy dishes. The fresh spring rolls, pad kee mow, and red curry were all packed with major flavor. Staff was extremely friendly when I picked up the to-go order. A must try!

Me: omnivore, asian american from LA, family includes Thai person from Thailand, sibling lived in SEA, visited SEA/Thailand a few times (with Thai fam) I really like this place. While not the same sort of Thai Thai food from childhood (also, PoC code: add a star to whatever spice level you had in mind), it has a couple of highlights. It’s on my way home (+1 convenience) and the value is great (+1 again). I will always prefer a casual and tasty spot over a stuffy and tasty spot. My favorite dish is the curries, particularly the Panang (really awesome flavors and herbs in there). The pad thai is surprisingly good for a vegetarian place/overall nice — I would really love some more depth/fish sauce but I get the appeal of no fish sauce to many people (omni and veggie alike). I would like to try a different noodle dish next time because I miss the umami fish flavor too much in this one. Next, I often order spicy eggplant tofu at Thai spots; here, the sauce is pretty good but there could’ve been more eggplant and less bell pepper. The texture/flavor-sponge ability of the eggplant is really what gets me and the bell pepper crispness is refreshing yet not the same. My favorite for this dish in Seattle is at Amazing Thai (but their portion size is smaller). I would like to try one of their salad dishes next time. Finally, I particularly like this place for takeout because unlike many Thai places, I don’t feel like a huge greaseball afterward (+1). It fills a particular vegetarian niche and does it well, while also keeping things fresh for omnivores. I’ve been back a few times (and with other Asian American omnivores) and yes, we like this place!

Food was legitimately great. Fresh spring rolls (made without peanut) were superb. Thai fried rice with tofu 5 star was amazing. Tofu (pri-king-prince) with green beans 5 star was fantastic. Panang curry with tofu 5 star was only good. But this was a great date night for two non-vegetarians.

Amazing Red Curry!! Really solid price for the quality of the dishes. Would recommend bringing your vegan/vegetarian and your meat-eating friends as well. Lots of choices so everyone will find something they like. Best Thai food I have had in Seattle so far, but it will be a tough challenge to find someone better
