Kauai's Family Restaurant - Seattle - Photo album

TLDR: mom and pop shop serving food with a ton of great flavor! We ordered the loco moco and the kaua pork and both were amazing! The hamburger patty had a great char on it that added some depth of flavor, the pork was tender and just pulled apart, with great flavor. Definitely a taste of Hawaii in
I always come here when I visit Seattle and I'm craving food from back home. My go to is the lawai crispy chicken. This time I got a little bit of everything. The laulau, Kalua pig and lomi salmon plate. As well as the lawai crispy chicken and the fried saimen. Each place comes with rice and mac s
I got the ginger chicken and the loco moco to-go. And I didn't eat until an hour later but the food was still really good. Surprisingly the ginger chicken was still pretty crispy and tasted pretty darn good. The only "problem" would be that I wish the loco moco had more gravy but other than that it
Great Hawaiian food. We had the calamari and ginger chicken to start, then BBQ chicken, Kahlua pork, and Loco moco. Everything tasted just like it did on Kauai. Got a pound of macaroni salad to go. My kid had a cheeseburger and said it was delicious. Humble location without a lot of seating, but the
Ordered the loco moco. Fantastic. Ate it to fast to remember to take a picture. Very well priced. Place been here for years for a reason. Always consistent. Have the earliest memory going here as a kid. Also check out the bakery next door. Very popular place in the community. The whole strip mall of
We ordered lunch and got the fried saimin, lawai crispy ginger chicken and half order calamari. Everything was good. Got fried rice and Mac salad with the chicken. Everything was on point, food was just like how it's supposed to be when eating plate lunches back home on Oahu. Would have been better
I'm beginning to think Hawaiian just isn't my kind of food, so take those 3 stars with a grain of salt. The server was very friendly, but it took a while before someone checked on the front counter for customers. It's a family restaurant, so I get that staff may be a bit... laid back. This place
We ordered catering for 30 people a few months in advance. They were very communicative and were very accommodating when we wanted to add on additional dishes. They even allowed us to borrow chaffing equipment to keep our food warm at the party. The food was a hit and the perfect amount based on t
Very local island vibe! Food is still over off the best Hawaiian food in Seattle. The Lawai chicken is delicious. I like mac salad. I would take them over L&L any day.
Great Hawaiian food with an authentic family run vibe — Seriously felt like we were on island. The Moco Loco did not disappoint, the Musubi was great, and the mood was super chill. Recommended for lunch or a late breakfast.
Had a wonderful lunch here and totally trusted my friend from Hawaii to do the ordering :) Especially loved the very gingery chicken soup as it felt so comforting and very reminiscent to me of Taiwanese herbal/gingery soups! Perfect sick day food. The rest of the food slapped too 😋
Oh wow was the food I had ordered for a party GREAT! Everyone cleared their plates full of the most delicious pineapple chicken and garlic chicken, lau lau, musubi, kalua pork, BBQ beef, calamari, fried rice , Mac salad oh my. We have plenty of leftovers because I ordered for Hawaiian appetites and
Best and very authentic Kalua pig and Lau Lau! The Pipikaula was also delicious! The salad was also fresh! The price was reasonable!
We went to this restaurant because it had great reviews, pretty spot on! We ordered the pork cutlet and the ginger chicken from the waitress recommendations (our first time there). Great flavor, quality and quantity for the price, however the Mac salad tasted great just a little heavy on the salt! W
We got catering and everything was an absolute hit with our party. All the food was delicious. The lawai ginger chicken in particular was amazinggggg! We ordered kalua pork, Hawaiian BBQ chicken, Mac salad and fried saimin. 10/10 would recommend for catering!
Delicious food. It's take out only now (we were there in Nov 2022) but they let you sit down and eat inside the resturant. Street park but we had no problem finding a spot.
I took some pictures of the food I ordered. I ordered the ginger chicken dinner plate. It comes with 6 pieces of chicken, salad and rice for $10. I ordered the ox tail soup it comes with a small rice for $10. Small 4 oz poke for $7. 6 pieces of ginger chicken $8. They have a variety of drinks for $1
Laid back atmosphere, take out only, their Hawaiian BBQ with pork and chicken was fantastic
