Occasion: was visiting the locks and this was the only food place in site.
Pros: freshest fish and best quality burger meal I have had in a long time. Omg what a surprise. Staff were friendly. Loved this place!
Cons: a little small inside. Lighting is on the dim side. decor could have been updated. Bathroom was so so!
Bottomline: one of the best burger joints I have been to this far. Would I recommend this place - absolutely!

Terrific burgers! We had the fish and chips also and they were great. The staff were awesome, and even went out of their way to help a wheelchair bound person navigate the front door. We were very pleased with our visit. It was a cold winter day and we did the tourist thing at the Ballard Locks, then a delightful meal at the Totem to top it off. Definitely worth the visit.

One of my favorite place for comfort food. This location has seafood items like fish and chips, fish sandwich and clam chowder.
Small but cozy and casual place for all ages. Food size is generous. There are outside seating available and has a parking lot.

Such a good burger joint. Was voted a top 20 burger in the America within the last few years. The bacon is so good you'll want to take a pile home...which you can because they'll sell it to you.
Try the Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger (two 1/4 patties). Burgers are a great size. Onion rings or french fries are a good side option and they offer milkshakes for dessert. Coke products on the fountain and they take credit/debit (which they didn't a couple years back). Free parking in adjacent lot and plenty on the street around the area if that's full.

Huge burger! And BACON! Seriously! Do you see that pile of BACON! THREE GIANT STRIPS OF THICK CUT, CRISPY DELICIOUS BACON! I mean they probably have a chicken sandwich or something with lettuce or some 'healthy' alternative...but that's not what you came to Google to find. You want the local place with the BEST burger. One that drips down your hand, and stains your shirt. This place! Go there!

I love this mom and pop hamburger place! Very delicious hamburgers! Fries are phenomenal! Can't wait to go back and eat there again. I want to try the fish & chips!! I like the outdoor seating with picnic tables. The employees are very helpful and down to earth! Thank you

Wanna love this place but nearly every time they get our order wrong. Last time I ordered their onion burger & they made it with veggie patty!! What?! Dude, you're a burger joint.... please! That said, I really like their location. Great fries and onion rings. Wonderful selection of milkshakes.

One of the best burger joints I have ever been to. I got the bacon burger and a strawberry milkshake the first time I came here and it was so delicious I had to come back another time. The burger itself was so juicy and fresh and the milkshake had real strawberries in it. The atmosphere inside was also nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Service was good and food was good. I didn't particularly like the fish and chips - I'm picky about my breading, but their burgers look amazing and I'll be going back soon to try one of those for sure. The fries were really good. My girlfriend got the prawns and they came with sweet chili dausewhich was awesome.

The burgers are juicy. The veggies are fresh. The buns are soft. The sauce is creamy. They used to burn their bacon, so I don't get it anymore. The onion rings are a bit too hard crunchy for my taste, but otherwise it's also quite good. The wait is not bad, and the service is fine. You can wait outside for your food, and they'll call your name over the speaker. On a nice day, the bike rack easily gets full. People just leave bikes on the grass, and, with tables outside, it's easy to keep an eye on your bikes. It's fun to sit outside and watch the tourists navigate the parking lot at the locks.

Delicious blue cheese and bacon burger. Wide instead of stupid tall, the bun held steady through to the last bite (I hate it when my burger bun falls apart).
The French fries were great, crispy without being dry. Really tasty tartar sauce.
I'll definitely come back again. 👍
