Review Itto's Tapas - Seattle

Rik Sen
Serves a variety of tapas dishes inspired by Moroccan cuisine. The dishes come out better at some time than other times. Been here twice now and both times we ordered a lot of plates, each of which were small. There were always two dishes out of around eight that were VERY good and the others were various shades of good to ok. No dish was bad. The cocktails are very good too.

We had Berbere lamb burger, dolmes, and maakouda (potato cake) for dinner. All of them were really good. The lamb burger was one of the best I had in years! Great service and a very cozy ambience. Highly recommended. Mostly roadside parking but might get tricky depending on how busy the day is.

Great funky West Seattle vibe. Fast, friendly, efficient service and good drinks. Excellent use of re-purposed glassware (if you are looking for matching glassware at your table you won't find it here). The tapas is excellent, the eggplant is fantastically garlicky with tomatoes thrown in and trendy but delicious cilantro. The good-quality beef tenderloin has a hint of sweetness, go for the 8oz entree portion. And don't miss out on the creamy and smooth croquettes. My new favorite Morrocan-Spanish-Romanian restaurant!

Outstanding meal and drinks, period. Each dish, including dessert was really well made; our drinks were perfect. I often get handed some sugary cocktail and feel frustrated! I don’t mind a slight sweet to the drink but this place kept it mild and made the flavours speak so much better. I have zero complaints, this is a restaurant where you come for a solid meal, and I really wanted one this night and stumbled upon this location and was not disappointed! Enjoy!

Amazing food and very friendly service. The drinks are also very good. My son dropped a meatball and they made him a new one which he loved.

The food was phenomenal, perfectly portioned and absolutely delicious. Our server izzy was a hoot, she had the perfect amount of attentiveness and humor. She kindly recommended ordering a daiquiri after being informed they were out of an ingredient for the mai Thai and it was great. I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in the area.

The food is excellent and so are the drinks. The portions are good enough to share. The restaurant is intimate and cozy, there isn't a lot of seating so there might be a wait, especially on the weekends. The staff are very nice and attentive and the prices are fine.

Really enjoyed the food at Itto’s. It was a bit hot there in the summer, but if you can handle some warm temperatures please go. Gets busy even on weekdays.

This place is just excellent. I’ve come here a few times now and have been impressed each time. The dishes and cocktails are carefully crafted and unique, and even with this being tapas/small plates I haven’t felt disappointed with the amount of food I’ve received for the price. You can expect the portions to be on the smaller side but the quality and the flavors in each dish more than make up for it. I plan on continuing to come here to try new dishes!

Exquisite. We had the beet salad with cumin, the scallops with corn, the lemon chicken, croquettes and asparagus. Especially the scallops with corn was a revelation, never had corn in this way (still guessing what herbs were used). Highly recommended, also very nice atmosphere!

We enjoyed the food here but weren't blown away by the speed of service. We ordered the Lamb Brochette, Scallops, Paella, and Chicken Bastilla. The lamb was great and had a strong savory flavor with an almost breading like outer textures from the seasoning used. This tasted good and was not overwhelming. The scallops were also quite good. Well seared on each side and packed with flavor, the corn and sauce also served as a nice compliment to the dish. The paella was quite filling and had a kare variety of different seafoods that was blended well and not overtaken by any one component. The chicken Bastilla was underwhelming but I think this less an issue with the dish and more so with my expectations. It is a very sweet dish (unsurprisingly given it's ingredients) but the spiced chicken dominated the flavor profile and for me just felt like a weird combination of flavors. Is it a dessert? A dinner? Not sure but not really my thing. The service seemed really behind and we couldn't tell if this was simply due to how many people were eating that evening or because the waitress herself just wasn't that consistent. We had our order brought twice a and on no less than 4 occasions the waitress brought out food or drink intended for tables around us but she would forget the intended table and look like a deer in the headlights as she wondered where she should be delivering. It was rather amusing but by the 4th time it was hard to not wonder what the heck was goin on.

Such a cute place for a date night! Amazing dishes and drinks❤️ Each food portion is small, which we liked as well! We could able to try many different dishes! Cocktails are yummy and creative as well! Just be ready for lemon 🍋 splashes when you sit at the bar lol

Very tasty food and great service with nice ambiance. Really liked the lamb burger and croquettes. The drinks were pretty strong though

Good food though the restaurant is a bit cramped and the portions are very small for its price. Recommend the Lamb Brochette. Arrived around 4pm on a Saturday and most tables were empty. By the time we left around 5, the restaurant was packed. Ordered three tapa sized dishes for $50.

Love Itto's! The food is always amazing and the staff is fantastic. I would appreciate some cushions in their wall adjacent booth seating for these old bones:) The food and drink are always inventive and creative, not to mention delicious. One of the best spots in West Seattle

We had a takeaway at our favorite Itto’s, a Moroccan Spanish fusion restaurant. All the food that we ordered were delicious - Squid steak rice, Lemon chicken rice, Beetroot goat cheese salad, Meatballs, Croquettes, Paella seafood, Scallops with corn. Everything was superb. Definitely our go to place for preferred takeaways as the restaurant is very small.

Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was great! Highly recommend the Khoudra Burger, Paella and Lemon Chicken. We got here right around the time they opened so we were able to get a table fairly quickly. It’s a small restaurant so it filled up. You should definitely get there early to beat the crowd. I can’t wait to go back and try a few other things on their menu.

Not living in Seattle, I had walked by this place and had googled it to check out the menu. After that, I knew I wanted to try it for dinner before bowling league. Even though it is tapas small plates, I did not leave hungry or disappointed. I had the Stuffed Dates and Paella. Food and beverages were absoutely delicious. I will return!
