Pestle Rock Isan Thai Cuisine - Seattle - Photo album

Delicious lunch! I’ve never had Thai food that tasted quite like this did. Very flavorful. Before walking in, I didn’t even realize Pestle Rock was a Thai restaurant and I wish I’d started eating here sooner. The Thai iced tea was great, too.
We had limited options since we’re veg. We ordered Kao Soi and Khao ka prau gal khal - Dao veg options. The Kao soi base curry and tofu were nice but I didn’t like the noodles. The Egg version of Khao ka prau was awesome. Loved it. Also had Thai ice tea, and it tasted awesome. Atmosphere is nice wit
Delicious food! Rice came with our rice dish. Very flavorful spices (ginger, curry. Yummmm). Fast and friendly service. Cute fun atmosphere. Full bar
We usually order the papaya salad and the entree with udon noodles (because I love noodles) and try new appetizers and another main every time we come. So far, we love everything!
8/21/23: Excellent Khao Soi and Khao Phad Pu (crab fried rice) and the Roti Sai Nom is a shockingly good for being so simple.
We went to the Ballard farmers market and passed by this isan Thai restaurant where we decided to have lunch. The food was fresh with quality products. The Khao soi was very flavourful and reminded me of my trip to Thailand. The sausage was good but portion is light for the price. We were a bit disa
I enjoyed the food here, though portions could be a little bigger for the price. We got the kao soi and it was delicious. Chicken was yummy but barely there which was unfortunate. Also got the half gai yaang which I did not like at all. The chicken felt dry and it wasn't really my favorite flavor. W
1st time here. Lots of menu items I've never heard of. Had the most different combination of tastes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Did not like the om gang which is a curry but was more like a dill broth. Everything else was good especially the Crab fried rice and fried chicken wings. Outdoor seat
Really loved my experience at Pestle Rock. Great service- not overwhelming yet still attentive & helpful. Loved not having the typical Thai dishes one can find in the US. Ba Mee Hang Muuton (pork) was extremely tender & flavourful. Portion were just right- I love that they weren’t huge but generous
Excellent, not-Americanized Thai food, but manageable (English on the menus, plus a spice range that won't flame your taste buds). Don't expect to find pad thai, but there are plenty of similar dishes. Big dinner portions, and enjoyed the small, but meaty, appetizers.
