I love good fish n chips. This place is a favorite of mine. The fish is nice cuts with a light panko batter that is crispy. This visit I got the halibut, cod, and scallop. It was all delicious! The fries are fresh cut which I love. You can’t beat fresh seafood and fresh cut fries. I highly recommend if you like fish n chips.

No frills place. Highly recommended if you are looking to try out freshly made Dungeness crab. Takes them about 10 minutes to steam, break it apart, and serve with butter. Clam chowder is quite good too, better than much hyped Pike Place Chowder, and is made without any bacon for those who abstain from pork. Fried fish and chips are just ok, but I would recommend this place for Dungeness crab. Reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in pike place.

The food & service is a 5/5, incredibly fresh and fun to watch them work. 3/5 for atmosohere due to the lack of seating/general chaos of getting your order. Nowhere to wash your hands, would be nice if they put out sanitizer.

Jack’s Fish Spot is as authentic as Pike’s Place Market - it’s a place for locals.
It’s been around forever.
They sell cold seafood, smoked salmon and house made clam chowder; also they prepare grilled salmon or fish & chip plates cooked to order. The plates were big!
There aren’t many seats available but the market ambiance is down to earth.
I ordered the grilled salmon plate to go. Yummy fresh salmon. Moist and tasty. The clam chowder was thick with clams and big chunks of potato. A cup was just enough.

This is #1 fish and chips spot I ever ate in my life guaranteed!!!! Not just any fish and chips but SALMON fish and chips just pure yumminess in every bite! If you’re in the area come by you’ll not regret it!!!! There is other options to choose from !

Classic Pike Place Market fish bar. Standard menu with grilled or fried fish, chowders, tacos, oysters, clams, mussels, prawns, etc.
Stick to the basic items. The cioppino was thin. Shrimp tacos are ok. Chowder was decent. Steamed clams and mussels were decent.

The fish tacos were very good and the fries came out fresh as well. It would have been nice to have a fountain machine instead of cans and have a option instead of everything being fried. Also there is very limited seating in the area.
