We love eating here! The staff is fun & caring! I have several dietary restrictions and the staff always comes up with the perfect meal for me! Everyone should try this place!
Great food, great staff, great beer, perfect place to visit, highly recommended
Great experience. We brought a large group in after a company event and had a great experience! Our waiter was awesome! Drinks were great! The pretzel sticks are amazing! Also happy hour at 10pm in a Saturday night?! Amazing! Loved the dart and pool table as well. Fun atmosphere. We will be back for sure!
Only down was heater was broken, BUT they brought out a space heater for us which definitely helped!
It's our favorite place for happy hour. Food is always great and service is always wonderful. Alexis is was our server last night and she was super friendly amd we had a great dinner.
We had dinner and drinks on Saturday evening, our server was Amazing!! And the food reminded me of Home. We will definitely be back for more.
We really enjoyed the ambiance and flavor of this joint! The upgrades they've done were GREAT! The food was wonderful and the portions ahhhhmazing! Will DEFINITELY be back, and probably for Sunday Brunch! 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.!!
Sitting on the sunny patio was a treat. The food and service was excellent!
I was surprised finding the Elephant &Castle in Seattle as I used to go in Dublin Ireland for the chicken wings. The wings are crazy good in Seattle as well. We will be back. (Rene)
Excellent food and great selection of craft beer. Best happy hour in town
The service was quick. We had our drinks and lunch in no time. I had the bangers and mash, and it was great. They make the bangers in house. My grandson had the fish and chips, and they were excellent. Felt a little like a piece of England, in Seattle.
The fish tacos were amazing!! Loved the atmosphere. Reminescint of a London pub.
Had a 6 person party should have planned it out better and called ahead for a reservation, however they made it work for us and that was fantastic. We will be back for the Strongbow on tap

The best Bloody Mary in town! Great atmosphere and smiling stuff!
I personally enjoy my trip there. Excellent food, they have a great selection of beer to enjoy with your friends. It's a versatile place. Restaurant by day, bar by night.
Great food.. I've eaten here before.. But I put my business card in the fish bowl.. Didn't expect to win but I did.. I already loved the food here but getting the free lunch... I'll be back...
Elephant & Castle is a cozy pub that serves delicious British food and drinks in the heart of Seattle. I was looking for a local place to test the “vibe” of the city, and I chose well. The Shepherd Pie was mouthwatering, hearty, and satisfying! It came with a side of brown gravy, which added an extra element of flavor that I didn’t expect. They also have Belhaven Scottish Ale on tap, which is a great beer! I couldn’t stop there, so I tried the bread pudding for dessert. It was soft, sweet, and scrumptious! The pub has a warm and welcoming vibe, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. If you are looking for a taste of Britain in Seattle, you should definitely visit Elephant & Castle. Do yourself a favor and try their bread pudding. It’s divine!
Definitely a must try place! 👍 Food was incredible! Love the pub scene! 🥧 🍺 We were staying in the hotel upstairs and we arrived late from our flight ✈️. Many places were closed so we decided to try downstairs!
Lively place and friendly staff. Perfect to enjoy a nice meal 🥘 can manage large parties 🎉
Our order: “The wee pie flight” 🥧I loved the pie flight because you can try all the different kinds they offer. The crust was perfect and crispy. Favorite 2 pies was the shepherds pie and chicken pot pie 😋“Butter chicken poutine fries” 🍟The fries sound odd but really delicious 🤤 For dessert =“Peach tarte tatin” Definitely a must try dessert. 😋🙊
Elephant & Castle offers a pleasant British pub-style dinning experience.
I had the butter chicken poutine and crisps & dips for starters. The butter chicken sauce was one of the best I've had; not too sweet and the right amount of creaminess and savoriness. I actually would have liked the chicken to be replaced with more curds. The crisps were thin and crispy. Really, they were brilliant served in a paper bag. Of the dips, the dill dip was the table's fave.
For my entree, I had the (4) mini pies. They were all good and the right sized entree after plowing through two appetizers. The Shepard's pie was the best, I think.
Our servers were very nice and attentive with a bit of charm on display.
This place is definitely worth checking out if you want a cozy atmosphere. The fish and chips was delicious and I highly recommend it. The Fuller's London Pride was a great drink too! Very spacious when you're inside. They have one pool table downstairs that you can use if it's available. Can be on the pricey side though, then again it's Seattle.
Quite a popular place when there's a game on in town. So bar staff are run ragged. Food is good, a very nice pint of Guiness.
Food is delicious and good portion. Service very slow, but very friendly! Visited twice.
Deluxe burger & sweet potato fries - a bit messy, filling and lots of flavor. Wee pie flight was cute & yummy.
Seems like a cool spot to catch sports games, especially soccer/football.
Ok so here's the thing, I normally list a few great things about the place and then one or two negatives to even it out a bit. I can't think of a single thing that would be worth noting as bad, Everything, from atmosphere, to the dipping sauces was outstanding. The food here was so good that I am second guessing all other 5 star ratings I have given. I had the Sunday roast and the gravy alone would be worth writing a dissertation on. The potatoes were flavorful and the Yorkshire pudding *chefs kiss. My wife had the au ju dip and poutine omg. I would eat an entire nother round if I wasn't so stuffed from their large portions. I will definitely be going back ASAP
Poutine and pretezel bite is very good. Old feshioned it’s a good choice and a tap water go very well hahhaha. All very helpful attendants. LGBT Friendly, this is an important point for the community! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
They have the best Baja Fish Tacos I've had anywhere in the United States. S+ Tier staff and a beautiful environment and a selection of food that hits most flavor profiles. Awesome beer menu, great prices, hard to complain. Great place overall!
British style pub with exotic food options that can refresh your brunch experience! Loads of seats but it seems quite busy during rainy Sunday! Great service! Highly recommended for friends gathering or family meals!
The food was really good. Ordered the shepherd's pie and fish and chips. The Poutine was good. Service was okay. Took a long time to get drink refills.

It was one of the best experiences I've ever had in downtown Seattle!
Prices were really reasonable, food was outstanding, and the service, WoW!!
Other restaurants can learn a thing or two here at the Elephant & Castle.

If you love REAL British food, this is the right place to go. The seasoning is amazing, it really reminds me the time I studied in England and enjoyed all these dishes.
I had “The Sunday Roast”: delicious beef and mashed potatoes. My wife had the “Ale & Onion Soup”: great flavor and melting cheese.
As dessert we asked for the “Highland Bread Pudding”, tasted fresh and like homemade. Delicious! We loved it!
Tez was our waiter, very smart and gentle man. Thanks, Tez! We really appreciated your help this night!
It was our first time here, and it did not disappoint! We had the chicken pot pie that comes with a house salad. Both were delicious!
This place is laid back and a great little chill hang out. They have a subtle underground feel. They have a pool table and dart board area that's good relaxed environment. It has a very cozy feel, not many people going down there.
Food was good! However the service was sublime! Shoutout to Miranda for being attentive, fun to banter with and an overall delight. Give her a raise. ✌🏼
Brilliant meal! 🐘🏰 Host wasn't the most inviting while I was waiting to be seated, but my server was efficient and gracious. The double standard burger hit the spot. It was prepared exactly as I ordered, with customized toppings, side, and how it was cooked. Served fresh and hot, and onions rings appeared to be made in house. The amber ale was quite good. I like a good pub which not only has a good selection of libations but takes their food service seriously too.
Enjoyed this place as Frolik was closed for a private event. We were so glad we did! Comparing the menus, this placed won, had great food and good beers.
