My husband and i went there for our 21st wedding anniversary yesterday... it was delicious... we started with the Wayward Sampler... the buffalo chicken drumsticks were to die for, but mu hubby couldnt handle the heat, so i got to eat them all!!! My husband had the Chico Vegan melt on sourdough, he loved it more than other chicken sandwiches at non vegan restaurants. I had the Mac Attack Crunch Wrap and loved every bit of it!!! The ultimate ending was a piece of chocolate pb pie and new york cheesecake with raspberry compote... OMG...both were fantastic but that cheesecake.... thats what im buying for all upcoming holidays and celebrations, for me better than most non-vegan cheesecakes anywhere. We left completely stuffed, we only got the appetizer and desserts because it was our anniversary... we would have been full with the generous servings of just the meal, but HEY it was our anniversary! Will go back many times... good thing we live sorta far away or we'd be there way too much! It's not letting me add pics or I'd show you all the yummy thing s we got!

The absolute best food and greatest service. We had the most amazing server and hostess who were so patient and so great about answering our friends questions about each item on the menu. They were amazed that it tasted so much like the real deal. It’s good to know this is a place we can take our friends who are not vegan (yet) and show them we don’t all eat rabbit food and cardboard

We showed up with a party of 10 exactly 1hr before closing. The staff was inviting and accommodated us with no problems. Service was fast and friendly. The food was awesome and the portions are large. This was my second time here with family and even the non vegan members who were with me both times found the food to be appealing and tasty.

Speaking as someone who is by no means vegan, I’m in love with this place after just one visit. I brought one of my best friends to Seattle this weekend so we could see Fall Out Boy, but wanted to make sure she would have plenty of options for food while we were there. I’ve heard incredible things about Wayward, and it was recommended to me for our lil trip. There was a bit of a wait when we got there, but it was completely worth it. I had a very hard time choosing from the menu because of all the options and EVERYTHING sounded wonderful! I ended up getting the biscuits and gravy combo with country gravy and it’s hands down the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. I will definitely take the time to make a trip to Wayward on each future visit to Seattle. Oh!! Our server was Bailey and she was a total sweetheart about answering any questions we had!

Regardless of vegan food this place has delicious food for meat eaters and vegans alike. I am vegan but my boyfriends an omnivore and he recommends this place to his friends and coworkers all the time. We go regularly at least once a week. Never once disappointed in service!

I can eat everything on the menu. No body parts or carcasses..... no smell of burning flesh! They should open shop in Olympia!

As a visitor from Texas, I was thrilled to find an all vegan spot in Seattle. Great service and WONDERFUL food! I had the Dixie Fried. Kale was excellently steamed. Delicious chiggen and cream gravy. Not so much a fan of the mac and cheese or the deep fried biscuit, but could have easily subbed a regular biscuit and the potato salad. Would eagerly try again on my next trip!

Took my mom (she is vegan) to Wayward for her birthday dinner last night and we LOVED IT! I'm not vegan myself, but can tell you that the menu selection, portion size, price, staff, etc. are wonderful. We have so many more things we want to try! And my mom was thrilled that she could go somewhere and eat every single thing on the menu and didn't feel out of place. Thanks for a great time!!! Eating my leftovers now.

I’m vegan, have been for 3 years and I am happy being vegan. The only thing I honestly miss is enjoying some breakfast comfort food and I know I can get it here. I’ve been here 2x’s now and it’s been great!

Travelled from Vancouver (Canada) for a weekend brunch, and it didn't disappoint! Portions were large and the food was tasty. Among our group, we had the Migas, Very Veggie Omelet, Hillbilly Omelet and Mushroom Omelet. Their home fries are essentially hash browns, which had a slight crisp. The omelets were well-filled with ingredients. The food was excellent, and would highly recommend the food. It's hard to find good vegan food for brunch! We all ordered coffee, and our server asked if we wanted "cream." 3 of us asked for cream, and 1 asked for oat milk. The coffee came out with 4 small oat milk containers. We didn't question it as we didn't want it to be a hassle, but on the service side, we thought the server could have advised us that their "cream" was actually oat milk. We typically wouldn't associate the 2 as being the same, and while the restaurant is 100% vegan, we were surprised that they didn't have any other milk/cream alternatives. We also found the menu to be a bit misleading as typically coffee prices include the standard milk/cream and sugar (along with the actual coffee). At this place, you're only paying for black coffee in the $3.50 cost, although refills of said black coffee are included. Any additions whatsoever will cost an additional $1.

Cute place with nice local art on the walls. Staff was very friendly and polite. Cocktails were tasty. The hot honey drumsticks were delicious, we added hot sauce for extra spiciness. The Migas was delicious. The CA Crunch wrap was good but needed hot sauce for extra flavor. Everything tasted fresh and was good. Portions are big. We should’ve split something because we left half of the entrees behind

We had an AMAZING vegan meal here! We have a lot of different food needs in our party in they were so kind and accommodating, and the food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best vegan food we’ve ever had and we travel a lot! Quick table service and awesome drinks. Definitely recommend the pancakes and the crunchwraps. A true vegan feast!! :)

We flew to Seattle from Portland Maine. We stopped by Wayward Vegan after months of reading the menu. Portion sizes were huge. I had the Chico Vegan Melt. It was fantastic the fried chiggen was the best I have had to date. My wife had the club. Another well done sandwich. We had the cinnamon roll for dessert and we waddled to our next flight we were so full. All the staff were fantastic. Our waiter, Devin was fantastic. He was engaging and friendly. I would 100% come back here on our next trip to Seattle.

ordered the California Dreamin Crunch Wrap. fried chiggen was not very good - did not taste like fried chicken in the slightest. the overall sandwich was acceptable but you could get a better value at somewhere like taco bell. there was no crunch like the description/title suggested - which was disappointing the Firehouse Burger, though, was significantly better - the fake fried chicken actually tasted really good and the bun was much better. In addition, the buffalo sauce added a fantastic kick to the patty the star of the show was the fries, however. they were so many of them, seasoned incredibly well, and perfectly crunchy and yet soft in the right parts. Came with really good ranch / ketchup. Couldn’t even finish the fries but i really wanted to - was eating them all the way up till the end - because of how good they were portion size was MASSIVE - there’s no way i could finish that entire meal - particularly the fries

It’s really amazing to find this vegan place in Seattle which can also serve Jain food on request. We went on a lunch date here and the food was just amazing. We ordered the sunshine omelet and huevos rancheros. Both were just amazing. Tasting very different from the regular things we ate so it was a good welcoming change of taste. We also wanted to try out the French toast and their biscuit with gravy speciality, we loved the French toast but the gravy was ok, lacked a bit of taste and was a bit blend but overall it was good food. Will definitely come back here again.

Absolutely adore the wayward vegan in Seattle! I first came here in 2019 with my brother and sister and it was such a lovely find. Came back again in 2023 with my mom and sister and it's just as magical as I remember. The menu is a bit bigger than I remember it being but still had the classics. Extremely delicious food and the atmosphere is so cozy and open - we had the pleasure of sitting upstairs this time and it was great! Our server was so kind - he was attentive and made great convo with us. Had the best sandwich and literally THE SMOOTHEST coffee ever...When I'm back in Seattle again, I'll make sure to stop by 💕

We got a takeout order consisting of the Albuquerque crunch wrap, Reuben, and Caesar salad. After trying a lot of the vegan options around Seattle, this was our favorite. All three dishes were stellar and I wish we had ordered more here. Must try place if you’re in the area

Had been here a few times before they closed in 2022. I was pleasantly surprised to know they re-opened under new ownership. We were super hungry after a long hike, and here's what we ate for brunch: 1. Buffalo Drumsticks: Very very good! If you are into the real thing, it may not be to your liking, but the fact that the texture of vegan chicken so closely resembles real meat and the effort that has been put into making the faux bone clearly shows in the final dish! The buffalo sauce is fantastic. 2. Sunshine omelette: Loved it! Everything about this was perfect. Too bad my (vegetarian) friend could not eat it beyond a couple of bites because it tasted so real! 3. Pancakes with berry compote: This is what I order every time I visit, and needless to say, their pancakes are the best!

Servers very nice and attentive. We got the French toast, biscuits and gravy, and the drumsticks. Loved the hot honey drumsticks the most. The French toast had a kind of unique taste-- great!

Excellent Vegan fare to be had! Enjoyed the migas and a refreshing mango margarita. So many great menu selections! We're already planning the next trip back to sample more. This is a spot that would be enjoyed by anyone, Vegan or not! Made a second trip back. Service is consistently excellent. Relaxing atmosphere. Had the TLTA and the kitchen easily accommodated my request for sourdough versus wheat bread. Just a terrific addition to Seattle's Vegan offerings, and it bears repeating that non-Vegan dining companions would enjoy the menu choices, too.

When you need a VEGAN breakfast spot early on a Friday morning, this place really came through! 100% vegan menu. It was spacious and clean with an upbeat vibe for 8 am. My breakfast burrito was so huge, I saved half for a whole other meal!! The only improvement would be to offer salsa. Breakfast burritos neeed their salsa. Note: the vegan chicken in the chicken & waffles is not restaurant made. It is a frozen processed product. This restaurant offers the comfort food version of vegan food (not the whole food option of vegan food lol). It was still good! Just not the healthiest of choices!! Walking distance to espresso cafes if you need it.

We've only been here under new ownership, so I don't have anything to compare. We've been here a few times and thoroughly enjoyed the good food and friendly customer service. We love coming here for breakfast knowing we'll have a great time, and eat delicious vegan food. We don't know their names but the male servers on Saturday and Sunday opening shifts are Our favorites are the chick'n and waffles and the migas plate. My only suggestion is to maybe add a build-your-own omelette option!

The food is so yummy here. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, so good! My partner ordered a veggie omelet and was raving about how delicious it was. I have to give a shout out to the hostess Araceli, she seen that I was disabled and offered us to sit at a table that didn't require stairs. I really appreciated that. It's the little things. Our server, Devon, was really friendly and made us feel welcomed. Definitely recommend The Wayward Vegan.
