Wow surprising I have not rated this before, been coming here for ages. Nice quaint Irish pub on a very cool lit backstreet. We usually go here when we are in town for a sports game. Good Irish beers on tap, tasty stew and soda bread. Like the fact it is one of the few places downtown that actually
I loved the live Jazz! It was the perfect place for a low key vibe. People are friendly, service is fantastic, and drinks are fab! I didn't get a chance to eat but I'm sure they have good food. They have a pool table to play in the back as well. They feature different local musical artists every nig
I stopped by for a while after watching the baseball game and drank a glass of Guinness, so I don't know exactly, but I think it's good for a beer atmosphere. There was only one TV installed and I was playing a Pretty woman movie, not a sports game.
It was fun ,, I would recommend it if you are look
Fun atmosphere all round with live band. There are several sections incl the restaurant, bar and games room, catering to different interests. The Guinness beef stew is my personal favourite and washing it down with a Guinness stout is a plus!
Fun place. I was in the mood for Irish on my way to watch the Sounders and remembered this place on Post Alley. They were busy, and still the food and drinks came out quick (with only one waitress I might add).
Thankful for Owl N' Thistle
And thankful for Jameson Black Barrel.
My happy place.
...Cup of Irish stew with soda bread was a perfect snack 🙌
Great service and divey Irish pub atmosphere is right up my alley.
Good food. Fast service. Sadly, seems the lack of workers downtown, especially feds, has impacted customer numbers. At noon, we were the only ones there, although I think another couple were seated in a different room. The pub has 3 different eating/drinking areas.
Excellent pub fare in an old-fashioned atmosphere. I'm afraid I went there for lunch, but I would have loved to stay for the happy hour.
The food is your average pub fare, quite fresh and well-made. Got some fish and chips that hit the right spot, with a local pint to accompany it, worth it.

This place is always a pleasure! The feel of the place makes it one of my favorite places in Seattle. We had stew and fish tacos and Guinness. Any amazing lunch.
Everything was good, only the Irish soda bread was like the bottoms of bran muffins buttered and put into a toaster oven. An Irish pub?
We stayed here twice during our stay in Seattle. The location is very pleasant and nice, just an Irish pub. The beer was very delicious and so was the food.
The service was very friendly and attentive and the order came quickly.
We will happily come here again.
We only stopped here for a beer on a warm day but it was a great place to be. Our bartender was incredibly nice and made sure we knew where we were going next. The bar is in a very old building so to find the restroom, you have to go down this old hallway that smelled like old paper, which was kind
Lonely Planet recommended, and it was RIGHT-off the tourist path. Mostly locals. You can sit in the bar and be loud or find a quiet table. I disagree with reviewers who describe this as a dive bar
It’s not. Friendly. Smallish but tasty menu.
A Classic bar with a lot of character. Great place to hang out and play some pool or some darts with good music in the background. To top it off. THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN SEATTLE!! That's right all caps. Try it. You won't regret it.
This place i great for a pint with the din of conversation in the background. No loud overpowering music!
Cool place for drinks, friends, and pool. The food was good, a little plain. The fish tacos were ok, but the triple grilled cheese and humus plate were really good.
