Monsoon - Seattle - Photo album

I had a delightful experience at this restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring every detail was perfect. The menu offered many mouthwatering options, each dish bursting with flavor. The attention to detail
Came in for dinner before a show. This is our second time here - the first time being our wedding dinner with some friends. The food is just as I remember it - the deconstructed vegetarian crispy rolls are by far the best thing here. I would honestly come here just to get multiple orders of these r
Experience it! I took 7 out-of-town guests there, and it was agreed that their pork belly and vermicelli combo are THE best they had had. Papaya salad, crockpot cat fish drunken chicken - out of this world.
This is a really nice restaurant, with a cool vibe and exemplary service. The waitress was able to coach us about our meal choices, and we ended up with our typical, atypical "small plates" approach and had a medley of appetizers (plus dessert). The bill for two, with tip, but without alcohol was
This was incredible! Cannot recommend enough⭐️ Sit in the 21+ Dining Lounge. Got Brussel sprouts, noodles, and the steak. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The grilled pork belly (pictured) was one of the stand out dish at Monsoon, which used to be one of our favourite local restaurants when we lived in Seattle about 20 years ago. Amazingly they still have on the menu my three favourite items from back then: drunken chicken, spicy eggplant, and banana
You can smell this place down the street. In fact, you’ll smell it before you see it. A gentle waft of simmering broth and spices that meanders down the block. Get the tofu spring rolls. They come with the kind of sauce that makes you forget about your caffeine withdrawal headache and how your wisd
This is a now historic, quaint little restaurant in Seattle's North Capitol Hill district on 19th avenue. The interior feels very private and exotic with lofted ceilings and interesting textures throughout.
Some friends took us here after the Seattle Asian Art Museum and we all found Monsoon to be a delightful and extraordinary little place. Very nice food. Exotic cocktail list (but full bar if you're not in the exotic mood). Would definitely like to come back, introduce more friends to it, too.
Monsoon saved my birthday??? After a previously chosen restaurant didn't work out on my birthday, my family stumbled into Monsoon on a cloudy day. Best. Mistake. Ever. My previous experience with Vietnamese food was limited to pho and Bahn mi. Neither can be found on Monsoon's menu, but you won't
Went for Sunday brunch- no American fare on menu, instead, traditional Asian food on offer that was beautifully presented and tasty. Open space with lots of windows and two four-top tables on a small, but inviting patio. Friendly waitress. Street parking in this quieter part of Capital Hill. We all
the area is lovely. their vietnamese coffee was great. the ambience, though, was a bit off. the place was kind of empty, Saturday brunch time, and a kid was banging the bench were people from three different tables were sitting down on (including me). Uncomfortable. Service was good, though. Friendl
The vegetarian and imperial rolls are very delicious. They're perfectly crispy and the taro idea is 👌 The papaya salad is kind of mild if you're used to eat original southeast Asian plates however for the western taste I think is very good. Catfish is a must. Overall a good place to eat 😋
Went here for brunch and shared a lot of plates. Shrimp and chive wontons, BBQ pork buns, green papaya salad, Bo La lot, and the pork belly rice bowl. Next time, I’ll skip the Pork Buns and get here earlier to try the shrimp dumplings and Sticky Rice (they were sold out by 1:30pm when we got here.
Came during restaurant week. Pic 1: cocktails - Sayulita in the back and forgot the other one. Pic 2: drunken chicken and prawn curry. Pic 3: banana cake. The drinks are great, pretty strong and complex in flavor. The drunken chicken is decently fried but the sauce is a bit on the sweet side. The pr
Great service! They have tables on the sidewalk out front lined with heaters, so we kept pretty warm. Also good coverage from the umbrellas—it started pouring rain, but we stayed completely dry. Food was delicious and fresh. They have some really unique and tasty cocktails. Cute little neighborhood
