My husband and I visited Revel for dinner one night while on vacation in Seattle and everything was fantastic! We started with the short rib wontons, which featured tender meat and a little spice from the chili oil. For our mains, we shared the Dungeness crab noodles (the noodles were homemade) with red curry and creme fraiche. We also had the sticky gochujang ribs - which were out of this world good. The glaze on the ribs had so much flavor, they were definitely on the spicy side so if you're sensitive to that just be aware, but we thought the amount of spice was perfect. For dessert, we shared the chocolate torte and the lemon blueberry cake - both were phenomenal! I also had Madame Rue cocktail and my husband had a Negroni and we loved both. Our server was very friendly/attentive and gave great recommendations. I'd happily return to Revel in the future.

Another tasty meal at Revel. We are in the outdoor section, a perfect summer evening spot. Food highlights included the short rib wontons, the rice cakes, and the newly added spicy ribs. Always a fan of the simple Chinese broccoli too. We found the Halibut a little meager for the price, though subtle and tasty.

Went there as a group of 3 on a Friday night without a reservation. Luckily they had a walk in table available. We got a mix of dishes to share and plenty of cocktails and the bill came up to $70 per person which I thought was good given the quality of the food and drinks. I particularly loved the rice cakes and the coconut cheesecake. I'd definitely return next time I'm in Seattle!

Outstanding food and cocktails. We enjoyed family style dining for four on a busy Saturday night. This is a lively room with attentive servers. Try the short rib wonton! Life changing! The only thing holding back from a perfect 5 star rating is the ridiculous 4% service charge.

We came here after we tried their sister restaurant Joule. We found the food creative and tasty, the ambiance airy and casual, and the service very attentive and smooth. We got shared wonton short ribs which was super good and well seasoned, the halibut which beat my expectations (im not a cooked fish type of gal). The halibut dish has a tasty sauce, well cooked halibut, several layers of texture (crunchy), and different taste profiles (ginger was coming through making it iso fresh). We also got the cucumber salad which was refreshing, and finally, the tuna plate. The tuna was fatty and tender, and very delicious. We finished with a miso a la mode, a creative and light dessert. Overall, the check came down to $150 for 3 drinks and several shared plates. We absolutely loved this place and i will go back to try other things.

Came here on a weeknight for my birthday celebration. Overall great experience! Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick. All the drinks were interesting and good, not too juicy and boozy enough, great mocktail options. Definitely recommend the wontons and octopus - octopus was served with just the right chewiness, their purple potato lumpia was amazingly soft (kind of a mushy texture) on the inside and crispy on the outside, I loved it! I thought the beef tataki with the nuts and miso cod were well crafted and tasty too. I would pass on the Chinese broccoli (a little overcooked/kind of bland) but that was the only thing I didn't like. Also, they allow you to bring cakes for a small service fee, and they lit the candles and cut it really nicely for us.

This place was recommended to us by our friends and it lived up and exceeded our expectations. It has a very inviting atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your meal. The food was amazing when it comes to its presentation as well as its taste. This place made out “favorite eats” list and we will be glad to be back.

We made reservations which was great. They had both indoor and patio seating. The patio was well covered and people were eating perfectly despite the drizzle outside. We sat inside and I really liked the music and the artwork. They have a bathroom that is shared with other establishments but it was kept clean. The food came out warm and quickly. Most importantly our drinks came out quickly and they were great. Our host was very nice and checked on this multiple times.

So pleasantly surprised. Noticed that the average review was 4.3, but I disagree completely with that. This was easily a 4.8-5. service was a little off, but the food and drinks were amazing. Let's begin with the drinks. The bartender is not afraid to make a good strong drink. Thank you to that person. I had the Madame Rue and my husband had the Fur rendezvous old-fashion. Both were excellent. We were part of a group so we enjoyed many dishes. My favorite was the salt and pepper brussel sprouts followed by the octopus and short rib wontons. We didn't have dessert so you won't see any pictures of sweets. In total we had 9 dishes. Everything was amazing and all dishes had different flavors. We will be back.

What a gem! We used to go to the original revel . And It took us a good three years to go back to their new spot ( go figure) , the patio is gorgeous and the food is still amazing , Kimshi pancake is absolutely delicious , as well as everything else on the menu ).

Food was delicious and staff was attentive. I loved how the staff educated us on the menu and sauces. The short ribs were my fave along with the crab noodles. Will def be coming back. Yum!

Went there with my colleagues. The vibe of the restaurant is really nice. We ordered a couple of dishes! We shared octopus, wontons and tofu. The octopus and wontons are recommended! The octopus is tender and the wontons are nicely seasoned. The tofu is not my fav since it’s a bit blend to my taste. For main course I ordered Dungeness crab noodle which is creamy and scrumptious. I would highly recommend it!

Wonderful! I was able to snag a table as a walk in and I had high hopes. With the kitchen open in front of everyone, the food has to match the showmanship. I stumbled in during Restaurant Week and the 3 courses were delightful. I started with the short rib wontons and they were bite-sized pops of spice and warmth. The chili oil they bathe in was deliciously balanced. I recommend adding a bit of the Tamari for a bit of sweetness. The main was the braised pork collar. Served with charred cabbage and apples, the bitter crunch and sweetness stood up to the extremely tender pork. The dish overall screamed fresh, but homey. Last came the persimmons with brown sugar boba and a ginger, almost flan-like pudding. I would happily dive into the regular menu sometime soon.

TL;DR: Great food, great service, decent prices, stupid additional surcharge fees… I went today for the first time. Without a reservation and we were lucky to get a table, I recommend to get a reservation before coming. Moving into the food, really good! Everything was delicious! We ordered a few dishes to share with the table. My favorite was the rice cakes and the short beef wonton! One thing I didn’t like. Hence the 4 star, is this new “ 4% surcharge to the 100% bill the restaurant will keep and not share with employees” that goes on top of the tip… I don’t understand why the restaurants don’t want to pay their workers… find this a bit outrageous..

Everyone is always looking for the new thing (same) and sometimes we forget about the long-standing spots, literally walking past them on multiple occasions without a thought. Finally, I stopped back into Revel and wow, what a meal! I didn't have a reservation but was able to get the last indoor table for two at roughly 7:00 on a Friday. The service was great... friendly, quick and not overbearing. The cocktails were perfect. But wow, the food. We started with the winter salad with black lentils, grapefruit and orange alongside the seasonal kimchi with carrots and cauliflower - both were excellent. Then there was this octopus dish on the menu which wasn't online, a very pleasant surprise. It was cooked perfectly and served alongside a sauce with black currants. Show stopper. We had this course alongside the short rib wontons with chili oil. So good. I might stop back by just for these two items alone. Lastly we finished with the dungeness crab noodle with seaweed, red curry and crème fraiche. Add a few drops of the in-house gochujang hot sauce to add a little kick. So good and perfect on a cold night. Overall just an exceptional meal. Let's hear it for the restaurants who are still putting out incredible food after many years. If you haven't been to Revel, correct that soon!

Decent food but quite pricey. The portion is small. Not sure we’re going back.
