Review Harvest Vine - Seattle

Victoria Tkatch
Went here based on the recommendation of a friend who loved their experience. We arrived at 5 on a Sunday and sat at the chefs counter to observe them cooking. We ordered the Iberian pork, octopus, gazpacho, and cod. Overall, it's one of the rare Spanish food places in Seattle, had pretty good vibe and food. I found it a little expensive for the size of food, as the size is "tapas" but the price is "full size", and wasn't totally blown away by anything in terms of taste. The chef counter seats got a little too hot and made us sleepy, so we ended up leaving early. I would say it's still worth a visit if you really like Spanish food. Suggest visiting a little later like 7 so the vibe is more energetic. Octopus - this was our favorite, soft and delicious Cod fish - well cooked but nothing special Gazpacho - too sour for my taste, and tiny Bread service - basic baguette, not worth it Iberian pork - yummy, soft. Served with good potatoes. A little bit of the fibers could be removed for perfection

We sat outside on the patio for a casual birthday dinner and this place did not disappoint. Really personal service, good food at a nice pace, and a really chill Spanish vibe. Dessert on the house was a nice surprise. This neighborhood gem was hopping with regulars by the time we left. Plenty of seating downstairs as well. We will definitely be back.

Summery Spanish tapas bar. The baked goats cheese dish was the standout, it's umami, and the goats cheese flavor is mellow and balanced out by the tomatoes. The free olive sampler is great, they aren't canned, and have distinct flavors. The flan was alright, it tasted great, but was more stiff than it should have been. Service wise, there was always someone interacting with our table and clearing it up; I would have preferred more privacy. One of the staff eventually knocked over a glass of wine onto me. However they did offer to reimburse the entire meal on their own.

This place never disappoints. Whenever I eat here I feel transported to Spain. The tastes and presentations are impeccable and I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like. Most recently the seared goat cheese was so amazing I ordered a second serving!

Cute and quaint little eatery for Spanish tapas. Service was excellent as was the food. They take reservations for groups and we had our own private room which was perfect. Would definitely return.

Been here before and recently came back to have our friendship holiday dinner. Even after so many years, this restaurant is still a neighborhood hidden gem! Everything we had was delicious! In our opinion, this is the best tapas restaurant in the Seattle area. The staff is always kind, attentive, and amazing! Recommend making reservation due to limited spacing. Highly recommend Harvest Vine!

The food comes out slowly, not a place to grab food if you have another place to go. A good place to be at if you have like 1.5 -2 hours for dinner . The place is small with around 4-5 tables tucked tightly together upstairs and a couple more downstairs. It is best to get a reservation. The octopus and oxtail were definitely my favorite. The octopus was smoky and not fishy . The oxtail was wrapped in a crunchy shell and full of flavor. Bread is bread, I wouldn't get it. I would come back to this place .

Our server, Dennis was nothing short of amazing! He helped us select the perfect wines to go with most of the menu that we ordered and even helped us pack up the leftovers. The food here is delightful, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. I would personally recommend the pulpo or the lamb chops, the shrimp paella was also delicious. We had lots of small side plates ranging from blistered peppers to a full cheese tasting experience and all of it was tasty. 10/10 highly recommend

We were served by the incredible Juan Carlos. We had been wanting to check out the Harvest Wine forever, and finally decided to try to sneak in without a reservation as soon as they opened! We sat at the bar and had a front row seat at their open kitchen concept. We were there for a quick bite and 2 glasses of wine. We paired a Rezebal 2021 with the clams. I always prefer whites with seafood, but definitely could have drank a light, fruity red. The sauce was abundant and we dipped our bread in it throughout. You cannot go without ordering bread and olive oil here. The refreshing white paired well with the salty and fatty clams. This was followed by a recommended Rioja with the Cow’s tongue. The lengua de vaca was the star of the show. The cheese and chiles were perfection over the meat that was sliced so thinly it felt like a cloud. We had a late night reservation or else we would have had several other plates. We cannot wait to come back!

100% enjoyed the dinner! This was first time trying the restaurant although i have heard the name of restaurant for long . Afew of plates we ordered we thought not salted enough, but everything was amazing. Iberico is a must to order!

It was superb. This would be about the 7th time we go there (my wife and I) . Like every single time food is carefully and artistically prepared, and it was delicious! Service is always supreme. We like to seat at the bar to see the preparation, it is so calming to see the chefs expedite food with such care, control and artistry. Beautiful part of town. I would always recommend this place to anybody.

The atmosphere was great. Our table felt private and the service was fantastic. The food is outstanding to say the least. Thank you for the experience... it was inspiring. Without a doubt one, if not THE BEST meals we have ever eaten. I have NEVER cleared every plate... EVER. Asha... you are a superstar and a wonderful person. Thank you for your company. Stay happy...it shows!!!

This place is great. Was really busy when we went. You can make reservations. We were lucky enough to get a table for 2 before the crowd arrived. The food was amazing. Plenty of delicious vegetarian options. I can’t wait to go back.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. First, we were offered a gift certificate because the place was overbooked on the night of our original reservation and we were flexible to reschedule. When we finally came in for dinner they served us rose champagne and a small bite on the house. I just loved how they show their appreciation. Service was good and the menu offered actually quite of bit of the dishes that were actually offered in Spain. Some were cooked differently but I expected that. However, all the dishes were well made and the portions were good. I highly recommend the Spanish tortilla (this is definitely my favorite one made in Seattle - pretty close to what we ate on a regular basis when we were in Spain), the sauteed mushrooms and the Iberico pork dish. Would definitely come back!

We came here for restaurant week. They had a soup for starters, paella for mains and a flan for dessert. While the food all tasted great, the portions were very small and we were left unsatisfied given how much we were paying for it. I'm sure the rest of the food is good here too but would appreciate larger portions for a three course meal

Very good- would recommend sharing 2-3 tapas per person as well. It was enough food. Wish they had cocktails too but the atmosphere was quite romantic and lovely

One of my favorite restaurants while visiting Seattle! Friendly staff and the food is consistently good every time. Finally got to visit here after 2 years since the border was closed between Canada and the US.

Fantastic food and service! Tapas style is wonderful and allowed my family to sample almost the whole menu! Lol! Highly recommend the pulpo! The Spanish cheese platter also another huge hit! Overall really can't go wrong with anything on menu.

It is easy to neglect our great restaurants that have been around with new places opening every day, but Harvest Vine is such an amazing place to eat. Every dish we had was delicious, the wine lis(all Spanish) is well currated, the service is correct, but easy going and they have a nice selection of Sherry. Plus it is reasonably $$, well, by Seattle full service standards.

It's like you've found a secret place even though it's well known. Cozy with an attentive owner and staff. Perfectly prepared lamb chops, wonderful cheeses, quail that makes you know why people love quail. You can always tell that a place knows what it's all about when they prepare shrimp/prawns right. And these were perfect. Fab wine and dessert.

Wonderful food, wine and atmosphere! I highly recommend it!

They were still consistently good to even flawless, in food and service. Still the top 1% of all the restaurants I have eaten so far in Seattle area.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!! To truly experience Harvest Vine, sit at the bar and be sure to ask for Juan Carlos. They treat you like one of the family, and the food is amazing. Don't miss the beet salad, the grilled salad, the octopus, and the flan - those are the only things we had because we had a late lunch, and everything was delicious. We went back a second night (we were visiting from out of town and staying at a VRBO in the hood), and it was like seeing old friends! Next time I'm in Seattle, this will be the first place I go!

One of our favorite Seattle restaurants! We like to sit at the bar upstairs and watch the cooking. The tapas are ever-changing, but I always make sure to get the foie gras and the potato tortilla. The plates are so pretty and have inspired my own cooking. My husband aspires to take a group and order “the whole right (or left😉) side of the menu”. Maybe next time...

Food was excellent and wonderful presentation. Great service and we are downstairs in the wine cellar.

Fantastic tasting authentic food with amazing atmosphere and aesthetics! My wife and the couple we went with are from Spain so our standards are pretty high to say the least... these guys passed with flying colors. The food brought back pleasant memories for me, especially the Jamon Serrano!!

I am not easily impressed but my meal at Harvest Vine took me back to Spain. I'll be back.

Best Spanish restaurant to visit with friends and family. The tapas are all delicious and their clams with chorizo are exceptional. Highly recommend sitting at the bar as you walk in and see first hand how the kitchen pros prepare tapas and get some quick cooking tips too. Their flan is fantástico!

Love the food, wine and people. My favorite place for a special dinner or to hang with a friend.
