With Jason @ the back of house creating some tasty morsels & Leslie up-front taking great care of us, our early dinner was better than we had hoped for! The tater tots were perfectly crispy and the Kraken Pub Burger was medium as requested, juicy juicy juicy & very savoury! Even the Pub Greens were fresh and delicious.
Had lunch here on our way to the opera. It was our first stop at this McMenamins’s. We had great service and our food was delicious. My wife ordered the African peanut chicken soup and loved it. When it first came to our table it was not as warm as she felt it should be and our server immediately took it back and returned with it a the perfect temperature. I had half an Aztec salad with crispy chicken added. Yummy for sure and I took half of it home with me.
Didn't eat this time but the food is good at any McMenamins just like the beer is. The decorations are different and very unique at each location. You need to see it to understand. There are typically a lot of paintings and a story behind each place. Great view and location. Give it a look and ask about the seasonal beer at that time.
Was here around 2pm and it was supper laid back. Food is excellent with great flavor. Recommend the Cajun fries and backyard burger.
Doing a Northwest Road Trip - After visiting the Chihuly Museum in Seattle (highly recommend, can’t say the same for the MOPOP) and rather than eating at the Armory (Food Court), we took a 10 minute walk to McMenamins - brewpub / restaurant. Really glad we did. Atmosphere / Decor different in a good way. The Bartender (Brandon) was great and gave good recommendations when asked what to have for lunch. The beers were excellent and so was the food. The Biggest Jack sandwich (Pastrami) and the Backyard (Burger) were spot on. Really happy we went there. Great value and Highly Recommend.
Best gluten free burger ever! Staff was super friendly. I had a wine flight and my husband had a beer flight…great price for a good portion! Definitely a must see when in Seattle.
Awesome place, smallest of all the Mcmenamins Brewers as they only have 3 super tiny barrels.
Just popped in for a drink. Didn't eat in. Had a great cocktail. Don't remember the name but it had hibiscus. It was delicious. This is a small McMenamins pub, not a large place to wander around like the other McMenamins. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Artwork was fun and quirky like in the other McMenamins.
Was able to be seated right away. Fish and chips were good. Coleslaw was the right amount of creamy and vinegary. Brewery flight was good especially the ruby ale.
Great atmosphere, wie variety of McMenamins beer and wine, and good bar food. I enjoyed the clan chowder and the fish and chips. The fries were fresh and crispy and the soup very tasty.
I love the style of the artworks in the McMenamin pubs!
Super cool little place, all we needed was a snack and beers and they provided just that! We were at the Elks Temple a couple months back and this is a much smaller and calmer experience, but still nice and loved all the little details!
Been there to meet a friend visiting Seattle. Nice place with good selection of beers and they only serve beer from their own local breweries, so everything is unique and handcrafted. Friendly staff but not a lot of choice on the food menu, especially chicken items.
Excellent bar in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Cocktails were delicious. Food was great. Prices were a little high but the quality was there so not mad about it. Will definitely return!
Delicious food and surprisingly good service for a McMenamins. I heartily recommend the gumbo if it's the soup of the day when you're there. The Year of the Dragon Burger and the Pretzel with Fondue are both really delicious too!
What a great and nice staff and the food was excellent. McMenamins is always a good time no matter what location it seems.
Amazing sandwiches and lots of beer selections. Staff was friendly and attentive.
