La Carta De Oaxaca - Seattle - Photo album

I just left Oaxaca City Mexico 2 weeks ago and I was so happy to taste mezcal again (with peanuts and chili sauce and oranges on the side). I tried a food I didn’t have there, and loved the flavors. True to form, amazing flavors. Habanero sauce ($2) so flavorful and full heat! This place is so authe
The foo was very delicious and authentic. No tons of cheese like we usually get around here. In Mexico we don’t eat that much cheese 😏 but anyway amazing food, staff and atmosphere. I will defiantly be going back.
I enjoyed the authentic Mexican cuisine, and in particular the Mexican pizza, which was adorned with steak and chorizo, and what appeared to be steamed cactus, along with a flavorful concoction of authentic and relatable Mexican toppings and cheese. The outdoor cabaña was nice, and it was a lovely
We were here for lunch yesterday. I ordered the tamale chicken for lunch. Their hot sauce was good and spicy. Great food and great service. Definitely will come back again!
Good selection of tequila and mezcal. Flan was great. Portion size for my entree was a bit smaller than expected but the food was delicious. Girlfriend's margarita was a bit too salty for her taste but they gladly took it off the bill. We plan on coming back to try more of the menu.
The food here was pretty good. We tried the guac and chips, lamb birria, chicken mole, and tacos al pastor. My favorite dish was the tacos but everything was pretty good. I feel they give too many chips for the amount of guac though. The tacos, mole, and lamb were all a bit sweet which I liked, but
Saw the various reviews online and went here. Ordered the Tacos Al Pastor and Lamb Birria and it was absolutely delicious (and recommend by the servers). Definitely will come here again when I'm looking for Mexican food in Seattle.
Fantastic, I highly recommend. Had the mole with chicken and it rocked my socks clean off. Earthy and rich sauce with perfectly cooked chicken. Tortillas and rice were fresh and hot. Our food came within 10 minutes of ordering and the staff are kind, attentive and speedy. Eat here!!!
The food was excellent. My husband declared that the mole was the best he’s ever had. The posole was also on point. I purposely didn’t eat it all so that I could enjoy it again the next day. The cocktails were also solid. Service was friendly and efficient.
They definitely get 5stars last night we were a party if 9 without reservations to celebrate our friend’ Bday the server did great changed our order few times but she was super friendly Super nice and did great job She was amazing food was great too we ordered taco and it was delicious I highly reco
La Carta de Oaxaca is a Mexocan food restaurant in the heart of Ballard Ave section of things. It's known for its authentic taste, good size plates and fresh tortilla chips. They make their sauces and salsas which are always delicious. Their menu is a good size and do they everything right. Service
Came here on recommendation from a store owner on Ballard Street. So glad we did! Delicious food, tasty options for Vegetarians/Vegans, fresh ingredients, and great service. Would definitely recommend stopping in any time of day!
Authentic Mexican food. The owner is from Oaxaca. I had the Paloma Oaxaqueña, Chips and Guacamole, Lamb Birria and Entomatadas. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Falls right off the bone and melts in your mouth. The guacamole was really good too. There’s a self serve salsa bar inside as well. Sat i
Knocking a star because after we got our food, our waiter didn't ever come back for more water or another drink, and we had to flag down someone else to get our check. However, the food (lamb birria) was the best Mexican I've had in the area, and I love that they have a salsa bar. My cocktail (mezca
A great, authentic, locally owned Oaxcan restaurant. The mole items are excellent. The portions are perfect. Enough to be comfortably satiated without feeling stuffed. The prices seem slightly high, but not exorbitant.
I stopped at La Carta de Oaxaca with my husband while spending the day touring around Ballard. My husband had been here on a previous trip to Seattle and loved it so we wanted to go again so I could experience it too. We started with an order of chips with guacamole and a few salsas from their salsa
I like this restaurant, the prices are very good and the food too. The food is really rich and substantial, the restaurant is small but clean, if you go during meal times you may have to wait to have a table, they don't make reservations for less than 6 people.
I got the tacos Al Pastor, my partner got the quesadillas. They were good. Service was also good. The restaurant had a good vibe, clean and some cool artistic themes. Solid outdoor dining options. Seems like they've figured things out with covid. Overall enjoyable experience. Would recommend.
