I really liked the vibe and service of the place. I just had a dessert here. Loved that carrot cake. Probably one of the most flavorful carrot cake I have ever had.
Had 2 experiences here on a recent trip. Breakfast was pretty good. Avocado toast (minus pick de Gallo) is on pointe! They do not know how to make an over medium egg however. Coffee is strong. Breakfast wait staff is MIA a lot which is strange since it’s a small joint. Went back for evening drinks.
The bar & cafe is separated into two areas, the decor is unique as it is in the style of a bookstore. The service was polite and quite fast. We had a cheeseboard with some red and white wine, and even got to witness the infamous Seattle weather, literally showering relentlessly without warning.

This place is great. The whiskey sour I just had was AMAZING. The bartender was awesome.
Impressive whiskey menu. We had a few and it was great trying numerous together. The chicken and waffles were perfect- tons of vanilla but still crushed red pepper. Vivian was a great server.
Beautiful hotel bar and cafe. Contemporary decor with comfortable homey furnishings. The front section is the bar, and the back is an open room with various types of seating arrangemet. The morning period is relatively quiet, and breakfast is well executed and beautifully plated.
Stopped in for drinks before we had dinner at Vons 1000. Quality drinks served here! I got their Collins special and my brother had the smoked Manhattan. We could come back.

Excellent service with some very delicious food and drinks! We went there for brunch and absolutely loved the pancakes and mimosa!
Great atmosphere and nice thats its a ways from the market and tourist traffic. The poke is good but the steak is fantastic. I recommend trying the Opposite of Hallelujah if you like sweet and bubbly drinks. It's pricey but most of the area is in this price range.
Cozy spot with a great happy hour downtown. The small hh bites are very tasty and pair nicely with classic cocktails, also on happy hour. Friendly staff and great atmosphere!
The service is very nice, just slow. The cocktails are great! The atmosphere is also really nice with the book store theme.
Met a friend here for happy hour. The daiquiri was tangy and delicious, and not too sweet. The popcorn was a tasty snack and the tacos were surprisingly delicious, albeit simple.
I really like the atmosphere here, it's cozy inside the bar with good staff,a decent beer selection and plenty of cocktails to choose from. It's a little expensive even on happy hour but if you want to grab a beer down town you could do a lot worse
Good drinks if you order off the menu. Hit or miss on the bartenders being able to improvise tho. Man had actually yellow chartreuse on his shelf and didn't know what to make with it
This place is fantastic. A very relaxed atmosphere and very well crafted cocktails. If you’re in Seattle and are looking for a fantastic old fashioned while in a Hemingway approved spot, this is your joint.
Service was great, food was awesome, prices are a bit on the steep side. Also the music they played was great.
