Mee Sum Pastry - Seattle - Photo album

When near Seattle we never miss an opportunity to stop by Mee Sum Pastry. There is always a bit of a line but it always moves fast! They have the absolute best Crab Rangoon, ever. We’ve also had their bbq pork stick, red bean cakes and pork buns. There is not a bad thing on this menu! Great for quic
I heard about this bakery from YouTube, so I decided to try it out and was delighted by the experience. I had the BBQ Pork Hum bao. The housmade bread was (naturally) sweet and well-textured, and coupled with the pork created a blend of sweet and savory. At $5.50, it was a treasure! I would definite
I’m not an expert on these types of pastries or foods as they probably have very specific techniques etc. However I would like to point out how fresh all the items are in the morning (9:00am when I ordered). Everything tastes great and nicely seasoned. Tried various items that caught my attention; B
I didn’t have any difficulty with the staff being unfriendly or rude. There was a line so I’m sure they were just trying to get everyone their order. I got the curry beef hom bow and green tea sesame ball. Both were tasty but I really liked the curry beef. I actually took a couple to go when I was f
The place to go if you're a dim sum fan!! The crab ragoons were creamy and huge! The shrimp shumai were a good sized portion and they were so juicy, you didn't need a dill sauce! You can see them preparing the dim sum so you know it's fresh and not frozen!
As a Thai-Chinese local here in Seattle, I enjoy Mee Sum and their pastries. When my mother comes to visit, we go here because of their humbow and coconut cream filled pastries. Although a bit pricey, these buns are larger than you’ll find in CID or U district. The bread is different than most as it
Saw this place outside of the Pike Place market with a long line and decided to give it a try without looking at reviews. Glad we gave it a try, as it was so good. We ordered the bbq pork buns and sesame balls. They were fresh and hot. The pork buns were falling apart, but it wasn’t too hard to eat
Very cute and very authentic. I love buns of all shapes and sizes
No pics. Ate almost everything up even before we left the parking garage. We always get the curry beef and bbq pork hum bao. Inexpensive and generous sized fillings. We also got a read bean cake and red bean sesame ball to share and they worth it. Love this place. Went back another time and this ti
Can’t believe we’ve never eaten here before today; can only echo how delicious the BBQ pork hombow is. We got the baked one to share as we walked: fluffy, warm & smelled oh so good! NOT all bun; yum savory filling balances the sweet dough. Can’t wait to return, try more goodies & make it a meal. 😋😋😋
