Mind blown. Best French food I’ve ever had. The French onion soup was ridiculously good especially if you like cheese then this is cheese freakin galore. I had the 3 course set menu for $30 . Worth every penny. The crab risotto was spectacular. My friend had the chicken which was excellent too. I ended the my visit with the spicy beignets. So good!!!! The ambience here is perfect for brunch/ a date. I’m sure it’ll look beautiful at night too. Can’t wait to go back here on my next trip to Seattle .

Went here for lunch and it was great! Potato soup was delicious. Halibut over creamy mash potatoes super yummy with the sauce. Dessert was creme fraiche cheese cake the perfect ending. Service was excellent and they have lunch set deals that you can choose entrees from the menu.

Loulay Kitchen & Bar has been probably my first purist French Cuisine experience. Great service, super awesome food, paired with even better wines, & the desserts, are to die for, I was in foodie heaven. This is my first visit here, on a cold evening in downtown Seattle. After quickly getting seated, our steward handed down the simple menu with an exhaustive wine list. After we chose our mains, we received help on what wines to pair our selections with. I went for Mary’s Organic Chicken, with Potato, & Djon mustard. Chicken is a safe choice, primarily because it’s my first time trying French food, in a proper French setting. After a little long wait we were presented our mains, which looked impressive & very French. Plating was done beautifully, the chicken was cooked nice & firm, classic French techniques & tasted delicious. The little roasted potatoes, with a mustard sauce as the base where the chicken rested, loved every mouthful, full of flavours & experiencing classic French cuisine. Portions were large, but the greedy me, knowing how good French desserts are, shamelessly asked to see the dessert menu. The menu looked impressive & having heard up the chefs grandmothers recipe being followed, wanted to order the Hot Chocolate. However was pulled between that and a Chocolate Sorbet. The already greedy self, decided to have both the desserts while my friend picked up a Valrhona Chocolate Torte. My Hot Chocolate came with a toasted brioche & salted butter. The brioche was the perfect accompaniment to warm chocolate to be dipped into, the salted butter helped to break the sweetness from the chocolate beautifully. My second dessert, the Chocolate Sorbet was placed in the middle, within a circle made up of hazelnut, cocoa nibs, feuilletine, tiny globs of meringue. The vanilla milk was poured around the circle which helped swirl them up along with a spoonful of sorbet. Every spoonful makes a complex attempt to fool your palate on experiencing different textures of crunch with the super smooth sorbet. This place is special, first time am giving 5 stars to a restaurant, here in Seattle. Simple reason that they lived up to an expectation & exceeded that with the dessert, even though it is a very expensive diner. I might just return to try their desserts, as they are hard to miss at a high price point of the meal.

We were a walk in, no reservation but they were able to cater for my sister and me. Great menu and I know I need to come back and try more things. Service was good too. Had the crab beignet for starters, halibut for my main was just the right portion and perfectly cooked and just delicious with the brussel sprouts. My sister had the chicken but the portion was a bit too big for her. We had the baget for sides but the desserts... I have to tell you the pavlova and the panna cotta were just too good. I'd come back for the dessert if nothing else.

Wonderful brunch place. Everything is perfectly balanced and absolutely tasty. Interior is beautifully designed and staff are all nice and friendly. Had the French toast and croque madame with fries. Sounds heavy, but the way they do it is very light and not too much. It can get busy, so make reservations a few days in advance.

Started with the Gem Salad, incredible dressing and cheese, tasted the Parisian Gnocchi, melted in my mouth, with hazelnuts, the flavor, what an experience. Second dish was the Risotto, beet flavor prepared spectacular, one of the best risotto dishes I have tasted, perfect. Dessert was the Black and White Chocolate entremet, carefully prepared and the passion fruit coulis was outstandingly tasteful, this is a place that must be experienced for its culinary art.

We had the french toast and an omelette, as well as the cheese plate. The quality of the french toast and omelette was amazing... Maybe the best of each dish we've ever had! The service was friendly but slow and inattentive. The mimosas were delicious. It's also a very posh space. It ended up being the most expensive breakfast I've ever had, and I think the drinks and cheese plate were overpriced. You get what you pay for! Definitely worth a try if you like nice things.

Great dining option with good prices for what it’s meant to be. Small portions but that’s expected. I liked the scallops though it came with two which definitely was small for its $24 bill. Duck confit sliders came with five mini ones. The spiced sugar beignets (3 mini ones, $10) are a must order in my opinion - crackling candy included! also came with a spoonful of an amuse bouche (decent but a bit tart for me). Went on a Monday at 8 and there was plenty of space. Thick napkins in the bathrooms. Would return for a nice date.

Ok.... this experience was absolutely amazing. Our server, Yassine, was incredibly warm, welcoming, enthusiastic, and exceptional. By the end of the meal, he felt like family. Now on to the food. Oh... my... goodness! French GOODNESS!!! We will be here for every visit to Seattle!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!

Not much on the vegan offerings but they do a wonderfully delicate strawberry crepe with lemon curd and chantilly cream, and an awesome grapefruit juice, both really good! Meat eaters will enjoy their Benedict however the hollandaise could use more lemon to balance the richness and the potatoes they serve on the side are very oily and generally not great.

They definitely have retained their edge as one of the best in this metro. Before c19, this was in my regular lunch rotation when working in the office; take-out since. Food and experience remain top notch, comparable to some 1 Michelin star places in Silicon Valley and SF. Must visit in Seattle. PS. The dining room is gorgeous!

Quite nice bistro with excellent wines. I had duck confit and it was perfect. I was in for an early lunch and bar seating was nice and completely open.... But I got the impression you may need reservations even on weekday afternoons. Price was reasonable and commensurate for the atmosphere/quality of experience. Just over fifty for entre, wine. Also had a really nice espresso. I'd stop in again just for that. If you spy an open table, or have time to make a reso, I highly recommend.

Came here for dessert and was very pleased with it. The staffs were very friendly and service was prompt. My friend and I had the beignets and entremet, and both were delightful, presentation and taste wise. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely and perfect for date night or any celebration dinner. Would come again to try the entree.

I went in on a Sunday hoping for a good meal with fresh veggies, only to find out it was "brunch". In other words, mostly breakfast foods and no veggies. I ended up with a burger with a side salad. It was good but not worth the $21 it cost. The host seemed a little snooty, as I was not dressed fancy because I was in town for a gaming conference. However, the waitress was very friendly and offered suggestions that would help me get something close to what I wanted by giving me a side salad instead of fries.

French cuisine in the heart of Seattle. The food was masterfully done, and everything we had was delicious. An amazing experience. Make reservations for 2, and have a romantic French dinner.

Wonderfully prepared, thoughtful food and a welcoming environment. Service was absolutely incredible. Went in right after shopping for wedding dresses and they helped to celebrate with us. It was such a treat and truly enjoyable!

Stopped in for lunch. The beef short rib sandwich was juicy, tender and well balanced except for a couple bites where the rosemary was heavy. Cheeseburger was delicious, a little slip slide messy with all the condiments but worth it. The fries are perfect. Rice pudding was ok, a little on the bland side. The black and white entremet was the amazing star. Tart passion fruit offset by creamy white chocolate mousse and dark chocolate glaze. The service was also outstanding once past the slightly snooty hostess.
