Nice place to eat, came in for happy hour after working a catering event the Margherita was excellent, I had the chicken and bacon quesadilla and the street tacos. They both were very good, the service was great, the staff were very attentive were not intimidated with a chef dining there, I highly recommend this establishment. I have been to the Madison location a few times also and was not disappointed, which prompted me to try this location, glad I dined here, Chef PJ from Pj'sCustomCraftedCheesecakes.
We went there for brunch on Saturday. We love the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and did a great job helping us and keeping the coffee and water filled. The best part was the food! I had the Cactus Benedict's and she had Huevos Rancheros. Both where delicious. We look forward to coming back everytime I am in town. Great place and we would recommend it to everyone!

From fresh chips, make sure to add their guacamole! Very fresh and delicious! I ordered spicy ahi tacos. Perfect for small appetite individual. It was perfect for me and the other dishes that were ordered were great! Don’t miss the mango mojito! It’s the best mojito yet!
Our first time in, we loved the atmosphere and the staff were super friendly, as well as attentive. We loved the freshness of our dishes AND the manager brought us a complimentary dessert...#winning! 😍

Courteous staff and lovely mexican food. They have really good deserts as well specifically the three milk cuban flan!
Was voted one of the best mexican restaurants in Seattle and definitely lived upto my expectations.
Starting with the drinks- the pineapple Cactus special Margarita and the Mule (tequila), both were great. Specially the mule, liked it very much and ordered another one.
They served homemade chips and salsa(on the house) with the drinks.
10PM and later on weekdays was happy hour so we got discounted rates for some of the drinks and dishes.
In the food we ordered- Tex Mex Queso, Mexico city street tacos(which was a set of three different tacos) and the classis chicken fajitas. The quality of the food was very good. It was simple but full of flavours. The plates are decent size.
The ambience and service was also great.
The atmosphere is refreshing. The service is great. The southwestern food is delicious with a varied menu. Fresh, clean, tasty but not overly spiced, the goodness of food is allowed to come through. We have been to this Cactus restaurant multiple times this summer. Whether just dining with my wife, visiting family of friends, dine in or take out, we have not been disappointed once. That is unusual for our picky group. They also have an excellent rating for the health department’s safety rating.

I've learned in order to get my beloved Green Chile in the Pacific Northwest I have to mainly put my focus on restaurants that focus on Tex-Mex restaurants and not just regular Mexican restaurants. Green Chile is NOT the same as Chile Verde so I will make sure that much is clear.Cactus actually HAS menu items WITH Green Chile!
Cactus has locations all over the Seattle area so it makes it easy to get to. I have been to one over in West Seattle at least once and had good guac and chips there.
It was just last weekend when I went to this location for the first time and I wanted an actual meal instead of a snack so I did a closer inspection of the menu. That is where I saw the Green Chile offered by itself and in with things like enchiladas!
So I got the Chicken Enchiladas wrapped in blue corn tortillas with....you guessed it...Green Chile!
The meal actually was very good but like so much south of the border( or nearby) cuisine this far up north much of the heat that one gets used to enjoying(if you live in the Southwestern states that is) is definitely muted significantly which was the case here. The same applies to the salsa too. It wasn't too spicy hot. Despite tamer versions of these food items I'm still a sucker for chips and salsa and always will be and the return to having a Green Chile dish was still welcomed and enjoyed on my behalf.
The margaritas are pretty tasty here as well so that bears investigation if you enjoy those particular kinds of beverages too.
This location gets super busy on the weekend which isn't a surprise so if it's not just you you may be in for a wait. They are very accommodating however and they sat me at a communal table which was different but didn't detract me from enjoying my meal at all.
Love this place! The food and service is top notch and worth visiting any time we are in Seattle! Excellent Gluten free options as well! Can't wait to comeback with the family.
We went in for a late dinner and immediately upon entry, we were escorted to a table. The complementary nachos and salsa was very good and since all 4 of us were hungry, we got through it in no time. Post ordered, we were given a top up as well (thank you!). Ordered the smoked chicken quesadilla, cactus grilled chicken fajita and the tacos pollo. Food was served in about 10mins and was delicious. Would highly recommend the fajitas. The Mexican coke was great as usual and the ice tea wasn't too bad either. Ambience was pleasant with VERY friendly staff. We have a great time.

The service at Cactus is fantastic and they are great with kids! The steak fajitas are melt in your mouth delicious and when they found out it was our first visit, they gave us a complimentary dessert...delicious flan!!

Excellent burritos - and they are huge. At times, its hard to finish the whole thing in a single go.
I am a big fan of their chimichanga, probably the best.Also veg quesadillas are pretty good. Even nachos, chips, salsa and guac are reasonably good! You won't be disappointed by anything here.
Amazing Food, Service, and Atmosphere!. Cactus is so awesome! I had my birthday party at the SLU location last night, Cinco de Mayo, and the wait staff and hosts were so helpful! I called a day before to add extra people to my reservation and they were great about adding them on and having a table ready for us upstairs when we arrived. The service was great and everyone in my party was so impressed that we were seated right away and that the daily special card even had Happy Birthday Delaney printed on it! As the night wore one we had more people show up and the wait staff just kept finding chairs for us! Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back soon!
Cactus Fajitas FTW. Ordered the Cactus Fajita with portobello mushrooms. It comes out hot on a platter, tortillas provided separately, so you get to assemble your meal as you go. The guacamole here is fantastic, and the portions were quite large, so I came here for lunch and ended up eating the leftovers for dinner... Margaritas here are good as well. You may have to wait (they give you a beeper), it's a popular place, esp. in Amazonland at lunchtime (work on your mob-weaving skills), but it's a modern, lively vibe.

Blackened Chicken Tamales. Adding corns and arugula provide the tamales with the extra "kick" and sweetness.
Tacos Camarones. I love the corn tortillas which look like they are made by Cactus, and the toasted pumpkin seeds on the rice. The shrimp tacos have just enough spice, with mangos and crema to cool them down. Yum!
Marvelous brunch. Go go !!! Sunday Brunch!! Yes Yes... So many other places... long long waits. This sweet place breeze in. Excellent service. Great Eggs Benny their style -3 different ways. Bacon to die for. Do not forget an extra side of it. Yum.
Food and.... I had the corn and chile quesedillas, which were delicious; however, the big vote from the gang was the coco pina mojitos!

I had the skirt steak, which was actually just medallion pieces of steak, tasty but not exactly the hearty filling meal that I expected...
Add to this the fact that they somehow forgot my order when the waitress's brought the meals for my 4 coworkers, then our waitress was never told about the error. She didn't discover that my meal was missing for approx another 15-20 mins, so by the time I got my meal my coworkers were almost finished with theirs...
Adjustment to the bill for this error? NOPE!!
Guess they weren't planning on my making a return visit anytime soon....

Cool place with a surprisingly affordable menu. The handmade non-alcoholic cocktails are delicious and refreshing. I had the seafood enchilada. Solid flavored but a touch soggy and messy. Beans and rice on the side were yummy. I'd come back, and maybe check out a happy hour. Cheers!
Very good Margarita's, and we shared a big bowl of excellent tortilla soup, great nachos, a wonderful cheese quesadilla with chicken and bacon. All were prepared very well, and with good ingredients. I can't say it is the most exciting or eclectic food, however, the restaurant has a very fun atmosphere, the service was impeccable, drinks well mixed, and the food had fresh ingredients prepared well. Plus, it is on a fun block with many establishments to easily do a bit of a bar crawl, and a quick walk to South Lake Union park during the summer. I will definitely come here often.
Good bet in busy neighborhood. Adjacent to several large office buildings including Amazon.com, it is packed at noon. Nevertheless we got seated without reservations in 10 minutes. Very prompt amd efficient service followed.
Like other Cactus locations the contemporary Mexican menu is excellent and food well prepared.
Even though completely full the premises were pleasant and service good. Noise level is up there and not helped by concrete floors, but bearable. This is a great choice in a busy lunch neighborhood.

Visited this place with my work team on a weekday evening. Food portions and the presentation were amazing. Very nice vibe too. But the service felt very slow. We had to wait a long time to get our drinks and they arrived after we were done eating half the food. Nachos and guacamole were amazing. So were the jackfruit tacos and other chicken/prawn dishes. Very Mexican taste and flavours.
Was very excited to try this tex- mex restaurant in Seattle but sadly did not live up to expectations. Food was just okay, needed a lot of sauces to make it stand out. Drinks were fine, though the mezcal flight was not served as advertised, which is fine, but at least let us know. Also we had to ask for the orange slices which was part of the mezcal flight. Ambience was good though, and servers were nice.
It is a really great Mexican restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. The margaritas are on point. The elote bean dip was divine. The jackfruit tacos were the best I've ever had, honestly. The guacamole was very authentic as well. The icing on the cake was the flan... so delicious. I highly recommend Cactus 🌵. Our server Ed was also a highlight on the night.
Oh my god am I shocked at how good this place is. The people are so friendly! Jessica was our server, my partner always has "your favorite thing" and she picked something so good! (Chichen fried chicken). I had the summer special melon prawn salad, also completely incredible. Finally we finished with some flan and churros. I HIGHLY recommend everything listed here.
The chips and salsa are great. As is the queso. I loved my brisket burrito. This is a great spot to go when you're craving texmex.

The steak is pretty good! The first time I ordered medium well and a few pieces are too burnt and taste a bit bitter, which is not edible i think. The next time i got medium and it's better. I personally don't like the red sauce they put on it though. It will be better if it's on the side.
Found this place when the wait at place we were going was 2hrs. That turned out to be a great thing as Cactus South is a really good brunch spot. The menu has a lot of flavorful twist on meals you know and the Migas was very good as well as the home made corn tortillas, my wife had the chorizo and eggs and it was very good as well. Do yourself a favor and stop in anytime after 10 for a good brunch
Great food and service. Our waitress was a real champion, Viviene H. She was dealing with a lot of tables and still gave us great service. The food was wonderful and artistic, a great kick to spicy items, too.

This restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican food. Chips with guacamole dip was my favourite item. We tried chicken and seafood enchiladas as well. Service was decent. Definitely a place to try Mexican food in downtown Seattle area.
Delicious tacos and salsa. My tacos were the perfect blend of spiciness and flavor! Rice and beans are great but could be improved. Service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was especially nice outdoors! Also, after figuring out that we are visiting Seattle, our server gave us a delicious complementary desert!
I was here yesterday for lunch, not very hungry, I confess. So I just ordered a salad. Wow! Delicious!! 🤤🤤 And the dessert! Out of this world!! 🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😍 I recomend this place, everybody was super nice and kind, specially the waiter. If you come here, oder the desert, it was creamy and delicious.
This place is conveniently located in South Lake Union. Came here after recommended by some friends. I have been in California, so I have tasted a lot of Mexican cuisine. This place had good vibes, and kind people serving food. The costs were nominal, and they had a wide variety of items to choose from, we had soup, starters, main course, and desserts.
Got a feature dish which is two fancy fish tacos with kale salad and buttered corn. One of my favorite taco place to go when I want to have some really nice tacos. It’s a little bit pricey so make sure you are willing to spend ~$20 on two tacos :)

This is such a unique spot, my friend and I shared some tex next queso and fajitas with chicken. It was very delicious and our waiter Gabriel was super chill and welcoming. Definitely recommend to anyone!!
