Crazy decorations, freshly made pasta, delicious bread, and friendly service?? Count me in!
We had a fantastic meal here. We got there before it opened and there were already a few groups of people waiting for tables.
After opening we quickly got our table and placed our orders to try to get our orders in before some of the larger groups tied up the kitchen.
Service was fast and friendly and the pasta dishes were indeed delicious. Our 4 year old daughter loved looking around the restaurant, there's so much to look at!
I highly recommend this place, it's fun and totally worth it with prices being very reasonable.
The potato gnocchi was so good! Free bread for appetizers. Lucky to be seated at the best table in the house.
Come a bit early because this incredibly intimate cafe is popular. The food and beverage selection is wonderful and the service is as delightful as the atmosphere. I was seated at 5:03 and had my food and beverage by 5:13. I only remark because I've never had food so fresh, delicious, and wonderfully plated at such a fast but warm pace. Every conversation about the room was how divine the food and wines were. I myself had a French cider import, another excellent option. This cafe is perfect for date night fun and family gatherings alike. A mustn't miss for Seattle's Italian fare options.
Omg. First time here and I can't wait to go back. I'm very picky about my Italian, and absolutely loved my food. I had the pesto pasta with shrimp, my girl had the gluten free linguine and drunken clams. Both were fantastic! Got dessert to go. My cheesecake with banana Graham cracker crust was delicious also.
Even to-go and in my car this pasta is 5/5!
The hostess was also a sweetheart. I was in a rush and she came through with helping me pick something and getting it out to me fast.
Will definitely come back so I came enjoy sitting down here.
Holy S4!t get the banana cheesecake for dessert if it’s available! One of the most decadent things I’ve eaten in a while… wines and entrees were all great and server was definitely friendlier than most. More interesting and eclectic atmosphere than most places, as well. Definitely recommend if you want to go somewhere unique and strong on all fronts, though the cheesecake was the star of the night.
This place is a gem - service is always amazing and the servers make great recommendations. Don’t come here expecting “traditional” Italian food, Bizarro definitely puts their own spin on different dishes but we have enjoyed everything we tried. Really good wine menu also. Dining out has gotten so expensive lately, but I feel the Bizarros tries their best to keep fair prices for a nice meal out. We go here any time we want a special treat!
This place is absolutely fabulous!! The food, the wine, and the personalities are wonderful! Downstairs provides an intimate dining space for those love birds looking for a cozy, quiet space. Coming back tomorrow night! Bravo!!
The gnocchi was so good I cried and the tiramisu was amazing. Everything is made from scratch. Filling servings, worth every penny.
Supporting small businesses, especially ones that put so much love & care into what they do, really makes my soul happy. If you are in the Seattle area, please make sure you visit Bizzarro Italian Cafe. I have been going here since I first discovered it over 10 years ago. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a truly unique & fun atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a special place (without the pretentiousness). Without giving anything away, make sure you check out the washrooms. Our favorite dishes include Drunken Clams, The Forest Floor Frenzy, Puttanesca, & both their Lasagna and Tiramisu are the best I've ever had. However, if you are a fan of layed international flavors, I suggest you run there NOW as they've created a limited-time special fusion dish called The Korean Italian Job (1st photo). It's absolute perfection in my opinion, & I am trying to talk them into keeping it around. Beyond the food, what makes the place extra special is its owner, Jaedra. Despite years of running the restaurant, she always cares so much about providing the best experience, & her warmth is definitely translated through her friendly staff. A great place for date night or to take friends (plus, Guy Fieri even visited Bizzarro for Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives), I cannot recommend this wonderful, local, small business enough.
