Definitely the best crumpets I’ve had outside of England! Super fast service and very fresh. The English cheddar tastes so good. The cucumber and salmon is also very nice and a little more filling. Will definitely be back! We ended up going upstairs to Storyville for the coffee and nice seats.

I've been visiting Seattle for years and just never managed to make it into The Crumpet Shop until this most recent trip. I was worried the crumpets might be dense and heavy, especially since we had had a small breakfast already, but they were so light and delicous. The lemon ricotta wasn't very sweet (the highest compliment I can give any sweet), and the salmon was delicious. Definitely one of my go-to stops now when I'm in the area. We went right when they opened and basically walked right up without a wait, but the line started forming before we even got out order a few minutes later. Super friendly staff, though, and the atmosphere was nice and felt like an old small local business.

This little gem is an iconic shop located on 1st Ave right at the main entrance of the Pike Place Market. I had a hard time finding quick in- and-out parking, but I called ahead, and they kindly set aside six pack of fresh crumpets for me. It used to be that the crumpets would be sold out in the first few hours of their day, and they also weren't open on Sundays. I can happily say that is no longer the case!! I hadn't been here in about twenty years, but I'm so glad to have made the effort. Their crumpets are so delicious and are an amazing vehicle for butter and homemade jam or honey.

Several books I've read have referenced "Tea & Crumpets", but I'd never had one...until now! Generally speaking, I have a very selective/picky palate, but these tasted great! I had one with just butter and one with strawberry preserves. Both were excellent! It's right outside of Pike Place Market, so make sure you time your visit there with when the Crumpet Shop is open so you don't miss it!

Lovely first crumpet experience here! Snacked on one with cheese, egg, ham, and jalapeño with a healthy dash of hot sauce. Love all the free refill tea options and the interior is cozy with some nice wall murals. Also their lemon curd is zesty but not too sweet :)

Stopped while visiting Seattle. Staff is super friendly & welcoming. They even provided excellent recommendations when we couldn't pick just one. The crumpets are yummy but the scone cake is amazingly delicious.

Really friendly staff and delicious crumpets. Loved the savory crumpet with jalapeños and both the sweet crepes I tried were amazing. I ended up going twice during my visit

August 2023: I have always been fascinated with how the British eat crumpets and tea ☕. Stopped by this shop and tried a crumpet with butter. Everything is made fresh in store. We waited about five to ten minutes for our order. When it came out, it was toasted perfectly with a generous amount of butter. Overall, was really delicious 😋. Will definitely come back again for more crumpets.

Can get really crowded and there’s not many seats around. Best to take away and head to the market area and find a table there. The crumpets are really good and no matter if you order a savory or a sweet one, they are all pretty good. Freshly made then toasted and a huge amount of butter is slapped on before they put anything on it. Can’t go wrong with that.

As a Brit American I know my crumpets and these didn’t disappoint! Authentic and yummy. I stuck with the traditional jam topping but egg and cheese was good too. The coffee was great too. Really enjoyed he visit.
