My friends and I decided to try out Pier House due to the long wait next door at the other restaurant. Glad we did, all thanks to our server Cheyenne, and our meals to which we enjoyed very much. From start to finish Cheyenne was a complete joy. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations, she wore her mask correctly and was extremely tentative to keeping our table clean, and spacious. Food came out in a timely manner and we all enjoyed our meals very much. I'd like to point out that my friends and I were able to hear two surrounding tables around us, and they were extremely difficult to say the least, very rude, yet Cheyenne who was their server did not let that effect the great service she was giving all her guests, even after my friends and I realized the one table didn't bother to tip her. It came as quiet a shock to us given how wonderful she was with all of her guests. It's really unfortunate that during a global pandemic these three women would not have the common decency to tip a server who clearly is working very hard during some very hard times. But to close out the review we were very happy with our night that had a change of plans. Thank you Cheyenne for everything you did for us, and we are hoping to pop back in in the near future :)

Bum Roger's had a long wait so decided to go next door. From the moment we sat down until we left our waitress was so nice, so informative, and on her game. For it being my first time, she made me feel like I knew the whole menu. She told me the salmon with smashed potato would be great and SHE NEVA LIED! Cheyenne you were amazing and we would have definitely come back to see you. Thank you for a great dinner.

Very nice service. Our server was amazingly friendly and the crab legs tasted great. Definitely recommend. Only negative was the mandatory outdoor seating. But that is due to Jersey's idiotic Governor, not them. 👍👍

We went here for breakfast with our dog and our cockatiel for outside dining during Covid-19 times. The service couldn’t have been any better! Our waitress was attentive right from the start by bringing our dog a large water bowl. During our meal the other waitresses and the owner all checked in with us. Everything was so perfect it did NOT feel like we were eating in their parking lot, they did a nice job with tables, chairs and umbrellas. And the meal was great!

Went to the restaurant next door with 25 minute wait so decided to try Pier House.
No wait and no attitude.
Did the early bird dinner. 10 to 12 dollars with bread, salad, drink, entree and simple desert.
Ordered corn fritters which were very corny but not bad.
3 of us. One fish and chips. Fish was really greasy. Fries were fine.
Second meal was fried shrimp and fried clams. Coleslaw was very good, not a lot of mayonnaise. That meal was good.
Last meal was fried clams and sweet potato fries. That meal was good.
Desert is ice cream, jello or pudding.
For $54.00 not including tip, we had 3 meals, salad, bread, desert, drinks and one drink with alcohol. So a decent meal for a good price.

Very good sea food, not really big portions and the chef seems to cook with too much butter.
The menu is vast enough and the place is good enough and free of flies even in this peak summer dates, which is very well appreciated if you come from that fly zoo that is called the beach.
There is free parking available but in rush hours it might not be enough.
The service is good, nothing tremendously exciting, but good.
The prices are a bit high for the amount of food we get, but the taste is good and the place (not the service really) deserves it.
There is no dress code, at least.

Ate there last night for the first time. Don’t understand all the bad reviews. Our entries and appetizers were all great! The service was warm and friendly and the decor is adorable. Would definitely come back!!

What a great little spot, I just visited the Pier House in Seaside Park, NJ. It was truly amazing. From the amazing service and food. I had the early bird Special, There was a great selection of cheap meals. My favorite thing I had was the Flounder Franchise, It was amazing, the flounder was tender and Tasty. I would really recommend this place to any seafood lover it was great!
