Went to the shore from NY to get a sasauge and pepper hero.
Chose Maruca's because they were just about the only place open, but I'm glad!
Sasauge and pepper hero with sauce. So delicious! Just like I remember getting at the shore years ago.

This is by far the best pizza on the boardwalk. Maybe even the pest pizza on the east coast. The white pizza is so good I came back four different times during my week stay just to get more pizza. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is also amazing. This was my favorite restaurant to visit in Jersey
Best pizza on the boardwalk by far. It's a solid 7 to 8 on pizza scale. But my favorite place there.

Came here to try it for the sake of Portnoy and Barstool, and I feel like he rated a little high if you ask me. It's mediocre pizza. Edible but nothing special.
Maruca's is my happy place. I drive 2 hrs for my birthday every year for this. I'm an addict. The best food, nicest people and what a view.
I’m a thin crust kind of guy, and this is a thick slice. True to the Boardwalk, the pies and slices are massive, which I do appreciate. It was crowded, but that’s expected given its location during the summer. If your looking for a Boardwalk experience, check it out. The group I was with really love

We go to Seaside every summer & always get this pizza. there are many options for pizza on the boardwalk, but this steals the show for me. it’s not as heavy as traditional pie that is fully covered with cheese, but the sauce isn’t overwhelming. i will continue to eat at Maruca’s for many years to co
Best pizza so far at the Jersey shore. Crust is crispy and light. Sauce is perfect and toppings fresh. Christine was our waitress and she was on her game! We’ll be back!
We drove two hours to try this pizza and it was totally worth it. We both loved it. I only wish it was closer to us.
The pizza is really good. Thin crust and each size is the equivalent of 2, maybe 3 normal slices. The thin crust makes eating a pie manageable for 4 adults. The sauce is rich and tasty. Kids loved the pizza.

My favorite pizza place on the East coast. Been coming to this place for years (this is the 3rd or 4th location now) and most of the time driving from Philly for the day just to get this pizza. We get the large tomato pie with fresh garlic. Always consistent and always delicious. Highly recommended
This is truly the best place in Sea Side N.J for Pizza. The Maruca brothers have been making pizza for generations. I will never forget their Dad. He was a great guy.

If you're going to stroll the boardwalk and have a hankering for a slice or a full pie, this is where you should go. Service is very quick and everything is delivered with a smile to your table. You should be aware that alcohol is not served at their outside tables.
