I am a truck driver they have a room for a few trucks to park their food is absolutely great there atmosphere and their friendliness is absolutely great I don’t know what else I can say
We ate breakfast there yesterday and many times before on our way to Saltlick to eat BBQ and hacer never been unhappy with the service or food. When we go to Saltlick we are on the motorcycles and also sit there for some time to relax. We are always welcomed.
This place is like a fine wine and cheese...it just gets better with age! And my waitress was also awesome!!
I've been eating here for years....the breakfasts are amazing! The service is really great, almost like you're at home, and it's great for anyone to get off the road and relax either before or after you drive through Houston!

One of the few local restaurants here. This place is usually packed because of it. You can get breakfast all day which is a bonus. Friendly staff and the food is actually pretty good. Chicken fried steak is excellent and is served on Wednesday as a special but you can get it anytime. Club sandwich was thick with crispy toast. Fries were slightly over cooked though. This is a diner with a casual atmosphere but plenty of seating.
Been here twice since recently moving to Sealy. Very good experience both times. First was for lunch, had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and okra. CFS had very crispy batter, meat was of decent thickness, and had good flavor. Both sides were very good too. Got brown and cream gravy, both good in there own way. Breakfast trip was equally good. Had the $5 breakfast special, good value. A real good basic breakfast, get the biscuit. The only issue was that the hash browns weren't scattered as ordered, but were still good. Breakfast tacos are pretty good too. Service very good, very friendly both times.
My only disappointment is the cigaret smell when you first enter the restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly, service was very good and the food was good as well. We had large portions and had to take some home. Hubby and I shared a piece of sweet potato pie and it was very good. We would definitely go back again.
Found this place by chance, great breakfast, great atmosphere. In today's cookie cutter world of chain restaurants it's nice to find a place with some unique qualities. The building and the staff give the impression they've been there forever and that not a lot has changed through the years. Good food with prompt friendly service.
You might not think much of it from just passing by because it is a very no frills and just basics exterior and interior but let me just stop you right there and share that omg this is just home cooking heaven. My husband drives semi trucks and this place is perfect for those traveling and need a place to eat early. We were seated around 10:50 and were able to get chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. The price is so cheap for how big the portions are and the food is super fresh and delicious. I will say I liked the chicken fried chicken better as it was more flavorful than the fried steak but still I was satisfied. The best part we're the creamy mashed potatoes. Best I've ever had! Also our server was super attentive and prompt and got us our food quickly. Please stop by if you're in the area you won't regret it.
Have you ever been dragged to your grandparents' favorite place to eat? This is that place...only it's packed with all kinds of folks with your typical food fare: pancakes, eggs, hash browns, etc. We did see HUGE biscuits that everyone was eating along with the Sunday Special that was chicken fried steak. Pass on all the chain restaurants on I-10 and find Tony's!
Oh I sure do enjoy stopping in to this little family friendly cafe/diner. The menu is extensive, and the food quality is fantastic as well. You will get your money's worth of good food. The chicken fried steak was my favorite, any breakfast you get is top notch. This is a stop that wont disappoint!!
Our first time was a good experience! Yuri was a good waitress! Unfortunately, Joe ordered a chili cheeseburger and they brought out chili cheese dogs...it took a little while for him to get his food. Friendly place, good food!
