This is the best Thai Food in the area. We drive from Costa Mesa at least once a month for this place. Unfortunately the entire restaurant had to close for almost 6 months, some type of plumbing problem with the building.

Food was good.
6 people (5 children, 1 adult) and charged the 18% tip that was not listed on the menu. Not cool. I even asked where it was written and they could not find it either. Just said it’s added for 6 and above.
Server was not very warm but that can happen when the tip is inherently added.
One word: BALANCED
So many Thai places can't ever balance their food. Usually too heavy on the salt or sugar or both. Not this place. All of it was so delicate and flavorful. We have ordered from here a couple times and it is consistently delicious.

Rocharin Thai Bistro provides really good customer service. The Green Curry with Vegan Duck is very good: the primary flavors derive from the curry sauce which mixes, and tastes very well with the entire meal. The rice is somewhat soft, and sweet. The meal is filling, rich, and appetite-satisfying.

Love this place! Can't pronounce the name of the soup but it has lemon grass, shrimp and great flavor. Also, love the soup with coconut milk and lemon grass with shrimp! Would of rate it a 5 star, but they short you on the shrimp (maybe it's my greedy a$$ but I love shrimp and these 2 soups!)
