Found this gem of a place while visiting Seal Beach. Not sure we can claim to have “found” it though given the high rating this place had when we looked it up, but it delivered. Warm pita bread and hummus they brought out for us while we ordered was already a hit. The service was amazing, we never felt ignored. Food came out quickly. The owner was out and about talking to all the guests and took our compliments about the place with humble gratitude. Definitely recommend.
I had the Greek two skewer platter while my son had the salmon. Both were excellent.
I highly recommend this restaurant. It is perfect for a date night, celebration or just to relax and have a good meal with wine. The cilantro jalapeño hummus is out of this world. It is a Greek restaurant but the menu also has a Filipino fusion style food as well. Give this place a try and try the seafood pasta and the ribs. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It feels like you're at home. I can't wait to go back
I moved here from Manhattan, have lived and eaten in several culinary capitals of the world, this place is wonderful. One of my first reviews because this place is so special. The moussaka is perfect - comforting, perfectly cooked, melts in your mouth. The halloumi appetizer is salty peppery and sweet. The couple that owns this place treats you like family. A little restaurant by the ocean. Highly recommend.
Evzin is one of my favorite places. I loved it in the desert and love it even more now with its even more diverse menu. The food is all amazingly fresh, delicious with great moments of creativity. And, the owner, John, is a great, generous human.
Great service and really good food. I had the Kofta burger, medium rare, and it was sitting on a fresh chopped Greek salad, except the feta cheese 👍 Season fries an ketchup was a great complement. Naussa 2016 red to drink. Best Greek red (wine) I’ve had ever. Mrs had the rack of lamb 👌 The aioli was, however, too garlic heavy for 3 out of four round the table. Sister-in-law and her soon to be wedded 1/3 Filipino 1/3 Croatian and 1/3 Swedish fiancé ate pita souvlaki and Filipino BBQ ribs. All to their liking. Thanks for a great eve, Steve a.k.a. Ilios.
I could not rate this higher. The food was absolutely beautiful greek food with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The servers were lovely. Ilios offers a lovely dine with a peaceful restaurant. One of the best place to eat in all of Long Beach
Evzin was one of my favorite restaurants in Palm Springs for years.
I cannot believe my luck, Evzin moved to Seal Beach. The moment I heard the news, I had to order pick up ASAP.
Evzin's pulpo salads is the best octopus dish in US, must try. Chicken shawarma is juicy and savory. I enjoyed every bites. But today's superstar was Adobo fried chicken. I am a Korean-American, means I have very high standard about fried chicken. However, it is crunch, juicy, well seasoned, and great combo with the rice noodle. Highly recommend to any fried chicken lover.
I am so happy to have my favorite dishes at home in this pandemic time. Welcome to Seal Beach, Evzin!
it was in Palm Spring when I tried them for the first time and I was fascinated by everything, but when I saw how these guys cooked cleanly and accurately, I wanted to hug each of them
Oh my goodness this place is incredible. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. We got the cilantro jalapeño hummus, burnt eggplant, tzatziki, salmon and saffron chicken. Yes, we over ordered but we have another full night’s dinner and wow, the flavors and textures were worth it. This is our third time here and we’ll be back again and again. The food is made with so much love, a very rare treat in this neck of the woods. Highly recommend.
The Greek style sea bass was delicious. The cut up pita bread was a nice addition. It went well with pre- meal conversation and post meal sauce dipper. The lady, I think she was the owner, was very attentive, excellent recommendation and pleasant to talk too.
