Great food. Good little place to hang out and eat some good food and good cold beer

It’s an older restaurant and really has that home town feel. The restaurant provides a food quality experience more like a nice homemade lunch or dinner. The service staff are friendly and welcoming.

Used to live across the street a decade ago and frequented this place. Nothing has changed and that was perfect. Almond crusted shrimp was the wife's favorite back then and it was just as good now. The chowder brought me back home.

The food was good but they put the Chicken Fried Steak on the plate with the veggies so the juice from the veggies made the breading on the steak very soggy. Most places put the veggies in separate bowls.

It's always so busy!! We arrived on Sunday for lunch at 11:30. I was told it would take up yo 30 minutes to get our food, but we could get breakfast faster. My daughter went ahead and ordered the breakfast, which came out within 10 minutes. But she was already finished by the time we got our food. Timing is off-why could thry just bring all the food together?

Great place to meet friends or family for a meal. Great home cooking and seafood!

The food was pretty good but the chicken tasted dry. The chicken tortilla soup actually had a good amount of chicken in it. The tuna was good, we got it rare so that’s why it’s so pink. The okra was also good! It’s a very casual environment and the staff is nice and attentive.

I have been here many times with my family. This was my grandmother's favorite place to eat. I have always gotten the Egg Sandwich 5 this time did not disappoint. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that our waitress took quite a while to return to us each time she left. My brother got the chicken tenders, my Aunt got the Chopped Burger Steak. My sister got the kids Alfredo with shrimp. My mom got the Clam Chowder and 5 Garlic Parmesean wings, and Jeff got the Chicken fried Steak.

Came here the other day, and was not absolutely disappointed!! Parking lot is kind of small, but everything else is great! There is also a bar located near the restroom. The place is nice and clean, and the menus are displayed onto the table (which is smart!) I heard the gumbo is good. The prime rib is amazing !!!!! It is only available after 2pm though. the fries, mac and cheese, and salad are also really good too!

Hubs and I love this place. We've taken the kids to eat, they love it. We've stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and loved it. Now we've stopped in and come in the back door one night..and y'all need to do that yourself. It's not fancy but it feels like you belong instantly.

If you like liver and onions done like mom's, this is your place! The food is all fresh and delicious. With an extensive seafood menu that is also delicious, I always gravitate to the good old comfort food here.

My wife and I tried this long established restaurant and so glad we did. It really doesn’t look like much from the outside, but… The 6 oz. filet my wife ordered rivals the best filet we have ever had in any steakhouse anywhere. Absolute perfection. Served with a side of steamed broccoli with a loaded baked potato. They provide large bowls with shredded cheese, green onions and sour cream so you can load it as much as you want. Why can’t every restaurant do this? I had the French Dip sandwich. They use bread from Gambino’s Bakery from New Orleans. It was the best French bread! So good. And the roast beef was tender with no fat or gristle like many others I had at other places. The server told us they make the Au Jus from the Prime Rib juices. Y’all….the is is best French Dip I have ever had. I was unreasonably excited about finding a new favorite place. Great French fries too. The key lime pie was good. They really whipped the cream into the filling so it is light and fluffy with a graham cracker crust. Pretty good and made in their own kitchen. It was so good we ordered a chocolate cream pie to go and ate it later that night. Wow. Great crust and very intense chocolate filling. My only complaint is that we didn’t try this place earlier. We will definitely be back soon. Probably on a Tuesday or Thursday for their prime rib special.

First time here on advice from our business partner. Had a fried shrimp platter in its glory. Loved it. It’s absolutely delicious. It is on upper part of menu. Apologies I didn’t take a photo. You should try it though.

Went here last weekend with my husband and MIL, and it's was absolutely delicious! My MIL and I had the breakfast crab cake beni. My husband had the Biscuits and gravy, and he said they were dry, & he will try something else next time. But other than that, it was delicious and we will be back!

This place is really good! The seafood platter was delicious and fresh! The chicken strips and onion rings were very good and were made with a rich batter. The honey mustard that came with it was so good. The fried cheese sticks were great. The green beans and mac n cheese were good too. We loved the chocolate sheetcake and coconut pie!

I've been eating at the classic cafe for 35 years and I've never had a bad meal. Whether it's off the regular menu or one of their daily specials. Clear lake is lucky to have a place like the Seabrook classic cafe.

The looks of this restaurant are not the appeal, the food definitely is the draw. I have been visiting this restaurant since the late 80's and it has not changed. The food here is the best diner food in the greater Houston area. Definitely try the fried shrimp, the grilled shrimp tacos are awesome as well. A must try.

I haven’t been to Seabrook Classic Cafe in quite some time. My mom and I were in the area and I was craving another place to eat, just to find out that place closed down (sad for them, but but me back to one of my old favorites). Everything was just as I remembered. This was my moms first time there. She loved it. The food was amazing, the waitress and wait-staff were extremely friendly. I knew what I want before I got there, the T.A.C. 😋 My mom was unsure and the waitress (sorry I forgot her name) was very informative and made suggestions. My mom was very pleased. And of course, we had to finish off with dessert. My mom got the coconut cream pie and I was lucky enough to have the banana cream pie. We are definitely talking about coming back (although an hour and a half away) and even ordering pies from them for Thanksgiving.

Great food, good service at reasonable prices, my NASA buddies and I come here every other Friday and I always get the special, fried or blackened snapper, it's great. If I come at other times I get a chicken fried steak with smashed taters and okra, asparagus or squash or I might get the house salad with their outstanding home-made Bleu Cheese dressing and a bowl of gumbo. The gumbo is awesome. I've been coming here off and on since before Alicia, (over 30 years) and it's always been very good and they update the menu with new dishes, every so often. Old reliable I'd call it. ;) Oops, when my wife comes with me, she often gets one of their awesome desserts, she loves the cheese cake and I like the Key Lime Pie.

Been going there for years. Hubby and I split the Chicken Fried Chicken dinner. Tonight it was lousy. Like a fast food restaurant. The waitress tried to explain it was because we split the dinner. Common sense left the room. Sad when what was once a great chicken fried chicken dinner was turned into a fast food atmosphere. Okra was ok but even the mashed potatoes were not the same.

The best food, the best staff and a extraordinary casual dining experience. Would eat there everyday if I could.

Love this restaurant and the regulars get it— scratch made delicious food, the owner’s a great guy and you can dress casually but still get great quality seafood and steaks.

I always like food at restaurants where they prepare food they serve. Example: Made in house seafood jalapeno poppers. We stopped for a light lunch to finish watching the golf game. Both the bar and restaurant were very busy, but service was excellent .

We showed up around 11:00 am Father’s Day. Crowded but our wait time was not bad. I had Crabcake Benedict and a frozen mimosa both of which were excellent. Waiter was very nice and the wait for drinks and food service were better than average. We will be back!

Loved the food as always but the service was lacking. We sat a long time before anyone acknowledged us or took our drink order. Did not get the salad until the main course was ready to arrive. It put A damper on things. Love the pie and the waiter brought our check without asking If we needed anything else. Had much better experiences there!

Everything our waitress suggested was spot on! Great food and service!

We went for Mother's Day brunch and it was busy of course but very efficient. The staff was very friendly and all of our food was fantastic. This will be a must pit stop on our visits to the area from now on.

Awesome food. Great service. We had the Cuban sandwich, it was awesome and an Egg sandwich also great. Size portions are good enough to share so we had leftover for lunch today. Nice atmosphere and an enjoyable meal.

My fish came to the table smelling like sewer. We will have to find a new breakfast place.
