Mcloone's Rum Runner

Eaten here a few times with our company. Food is terrific. Had one of the best pork chops I have ever had in my life. Shared a few notes with others and they agreed, best pork chop. Scenery is great, right on the water. Service is good, not great. Honestly, food makes up for it. Drinks are not watered down, good selection of bourbons.

One of the most beautiful looking restaurants I've ever been to. Perfect for special occasion but also wonderful for everyday dining. The river view is unmatched. Absolutely breathtaking and relaxing. Food was OK. But to be fair, could have been our choices wasn't their best things. We got mussels and crabcake sandwich. I do not recommend.

This was my second time going to Rum Runner with my Fiancé. We went last summer of 2022 and now once this summer of 2023. The food did not disappoint. However, the service was not the same. The waiter would disappear for long periods of time and it took a long time to get our second round of drinks. He actually forgot and my fiancé had to go looking for him. Other than that, we have no complaints about the food.

Came here with my husband and toddler for my grandmother’s birthday. It was a very intimate dinner and the view is absolutely gorgeous. While waiting for our food, my toddler would watch everyone on their boats and jet skis. Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable about the beer menu. Drinks are refreshing (and strong if you get the seabright sunset lol) Highly recommend making reservations in advance.

Made last minute reservation for lunch. It was a slow afternoon so able to get outside seating. Which was beautiful. Between the view and the breeze, very appealing. Ordered a drink. The Rum Runner. Delicious. Also had the coconut shrimp appetizer. Very good. Will come Back for dinner with friends. That’s how much I enjoyed the dining experience.

Great service and food. We sat indoor, with a great view and lighting, but too much echoing from the 3rd floor. Restaurant and bar is on the 2nd floor, and I believe parties and events are on the 3rd floor. There was a lot of shouting and cheering that didn't allow us to communicate peacefully, but the food and drinks made up for it. Must try the lavender mimosa and Rum Runner Sampler 😍, prices are just right, valet parking available, and our waitress Elizabeth was amazing. She was attentive, sweet, and knew when exactly to come by.

I went with a group of 8 people. We sat upstairs with a beautiful view of the water. The waitstaff was very attentive and knowledgeable. All parts of our meal from appetizers to drinks to main course. S desert were perfectly prepared, delicious and very presentable. Perhaps those main dishes that had sides, like a vegetable or potato, could have been a bit more generous in quantity. But, all on all, a five star experience. Sorry I forgot to take photos.
