Slocum Hollow Bar And Restaurant

There was a line at 6pm to get in but it moved relatively quickly, and the hostess was friendly and accurate. We sat at 6:26pm. We were not seen by a waitress until 7:05. My fiancé and I went up to 2 different waitresses and the hostess came over, and still no one took our order until 7:05. Waitress said, “Sometimes they don’t tell us they say tables.” To which I responded, “I told you we were sat.” She replied with, “If I were you I would have left.” Our food and drinks were good, and they came out fast. Our waitress was actively avoiding us (for what reason, I don’t know...we were very nice about the situation). She didn’t even bring the check my fiancé had to find her. There didn’t seem to be a manger on the floor so I filled out an incident report at Guest Services. Overall, Snow Tubing is the only reason I’m giving Montage Mountain more than 1 star.

Our second trip to Slocum was just as amazing as our first. Executive Chef Bobby Olecki has put love, dedication, passion, and talent into the menu and has added some fun menu items to their selection such as a table top S'mores Platter (I call it the "Smore-gus-board) where you can literally make your own s'mores from your seat, Veggie Risotto Balls, Veggie Cheesesteak (MY FAVORITE), Veggie Burgers, Reuben Eggrolls, and many other yummy selections to choose from. Head up into the back of guest services and warm up by the fireplace and cozy up to friends and family, go skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and even airboarding and grab some lunch or dinner from the Slocum Hollow Bar & Grill.
